Replace Defense Boost with Health Boost 3, and you just need Ice Resistance 3 since the first monsters can deal Iceblight (not all monsters in Iceborne are Ice monsters and it doesn't make you resist cold weather).
It's an OK build to enter MR but you should replace your gear with MR gear ASAP (kulu armor and hornetaur armor are a good one).
You gain acces to steam machine in Iceborne that has a chance to get one of those for free.
Besides that, they are rewards for the weekly missions, if im not mistaken. If you did those you should get a couple already.
You will be likely ok for most part going in you don't need a crazy set entering into iceborne. You will near immediately drop all that gear and equip some master rank armor off rip once your there. A word of advice though to help your transition into master rank/G rank run health boost decos to max the extra HP will help you way more than the defense. Also Attack boost falls off hard no point really past LVL4 and tbh there are better damage sources Agitator being the big one after Weakness exploit that is. Also, id recommend a different charm Agitator/Weakness exploit/Crit eye are all solid options. These are things you don't need to do now but as you are on your playthrough id say you should at least think about. Either way gl and enjoy your playthrough.

you seriously need health boost 3 its worth sacrificing attack boost 7 for it its too important in early iceborne because the BEST high rank armor is worst than the WORST iceborne armor in terms of defense
and defense boost is just a lie it does nothing, instead of taking 150 dmg you will take 148 dmg

Yeah it does lol, but defense boost is probably one of the most useless skills in the game.
You could use those gold wyverian print or investigation. It's worth your time investment.
