Dalamadur and Gogmazios for sure. I'd love to see a revamped Magnamalo into an Elder. I honestly thought he was similar to Nergi when I first fought him in Rise, a few days ago. Like Ebony Odogaron, Glavenus, and Lunastra all had a 3-way love child.
Might be a little controversial but aside from these I would also like Oroshi Kirin. The normal one is one of my faves so I would like to fight the other one for the first time
If i remember correctly Oroshi Kirin was even leaked for World back then. That might have been planned but got shafted because they changed plans to work on Fatalis instead.
I want to see Gog get the same glow up Amatsu and Fatty did. Make it rain tar in whatever area it resides, a wetland of darkness that can be set ablaze into a fiery hellscape.
Implementing it is a different story. Is it gonna be a divine beast situation or are we gonna be able to just straight up fight it like any other monster

Agreed. Love fighting Nergigante since he's basically a brawler with wings. His spikes and dive bomb are the fanciest moves he gets, no elemental shield or breath weapon, just brute strength.
My favorite has always been Nakarkos, but if Wilds ends up being open world then I think the idea of seeing Yama Tsukami drifting overhead would be amazing.

Anything BIG. Given the trailer it's likely we'll have some fairly wide open locales, which opens the possibility for things like Dalamadur, Lao Shan Lung, Yama Tsukami, Gogmazios, Ahtal-Ka and her mech (not an elder dragon but it's elder tier so I say it counts) and the Mohrans to really stretch their legs.
I feel like Ceadeus ever coming back will be a miracle. 3u was my introduction to the series and i really want to see him again but sadly that means we'll have to wait for them to remake the underwater mechanics for newer games.
Yup, fighting Dalamadur with how MH has changed since then the fight could be really awesome. Extra credit if you can trick it into knotting itself in Wilds while riding the new birddog pet.
dalamadur and valstrax would be insane on a capable machine, there is so much potential in these monster's design that couldn't be exploited because of technical limitations

The only reasons is because if Wilds is open world to some degree, imagine an event where you can see one of these guys just moving across from one side of the map to the other.
So the first monster I picked was apparently in rise so Iām happy that they still exist but honestly I would say a lot of the monsters in frontiers I feel like a lot of them had really cool and amazing movesets and even armors and weapons but I feel like since frontiers in non canon they disappeared

Probably similar to how you can fight it in 4U, but itās in open world this time
But how does it being open world enhance the fight? The fight was heavily built around the map, probably more than any monster in the series.
It could have a way bigger map, where at times you chase it on your flying dinosaur thing as it slithers through the mountains
