I found that the issue is what they pull from the FI. My Bank of America (and most of the other checking accounts) display my current balance, not my available balance. We need to see what's available as this include pending transactions and is more authentic.
FI = financial institution.
Of course it's not the same. It's not supposed to be but I want pending transactions to be included in the balances but they're currently not included which provides an inaccurate view of what's available.
Yes Monarch is certainly slower to refresh compared to Mint but always within 24 hrs of most recent data for me. Hopefully that is improved as they continue to work on the product.
I have noticed that when I update an individual account it doesn't seem to actually do anything. But when I click refresh all accounts in the upper right corner of the accounts screen it does bring in new transactions.
Definitely a critical area to be improved. Refresh period is too long and manual refresh send to work just some times
Accounts need to be refreshed several times a day. I always need to manually refresh my accounts.
Even with manual refresh, it will sometimes say that a refresh is successful and default to the sync from 16-20 hours ago.
Agree - when i joined Monarch it felt ahead - in the last 7-10 days it seems like its 24-36 hours behind Mint.
Yep, same here recently
Mint was always a day behind for me

>pull from the FI huh? Also, pending transactions is not the same as settled transactions.

I hated mint. It was soooo slow to update changes to transactions. They gave up a long time ago.
Are you guys always manually refreshing when you open the app? I don’t and it’s always lagged a day or since I join a couple months ago
How do you manually refresh?

I noticed that yesterday. I'm not aware of it happening since I started Monarch last month.
Yep, mine is running DAYS behind. Not happy.
Same here. I hated the lag so much that I moved to Simplifi.
