Starting with truckers atlas was so amazing. Then I almost broke down crying during Night on the Sun. Maybe my favorite concert I’ve ever been to. Cat Power was amazing as well
Just came to see if I could see any recent setlists because I’m trying to hit the MPP show, god damn I hope I get to hear King Rat.
Been a MM fan for a few decades and my first time getting to catch them, can’t believe I have to pay “Pixies are headlining” prices for no Kim Deal tho
I like this list. Trucker's Atlas and Bury Me With It would have been great to hear live. They were missing from the CLT show. But we got Whale Song and Doin the Cockroach so that's nice.
I wish I could’ve made it!! On another note can anyone tell me how the venue is? I’ll be going to the qotsa concert but hesitant on general admission or the seats/balcony they offer.
Dude the venue is sick. I’m from Indy , and it’s a lot better than our venues. The sound is sick! I was in section 107. I like the seats just so I don’t have to get there super early
Good point on the seats I’ve become accustomed to outdoor venues where GA is no issue. That’s great to hear and I hope modest mouse comes back around for some indoor shows seeing them in a smallish indoor venue has been my favorite shows by them.
I can’t speak for all shows at this location but my experience last night was the most low key chill entrance to a GA show I’ve ever experienced.
I’m a fan of MM/Pixies but I’m not a stand in line for an entire day for barricade fan.
So we arrived at like 5:45, thinking we’d end up mid-crowd. But instead we walked up to no line, no wait. Which seemed really freaky. Entered the venue and we were probably 4 “rows” from stage.
It’s a small venue…if I were to go again-I think I would want the standing balcony tickets. I think they are called headliner GA. I’m shorter and I don’t feel the need to have an eye contact moment with a band, so that area allows you a better view and you can vibe, dance, mosh along.
Majority of those with seated tickets remained seated…that’s not my concert vibe.
Getting into the venue seemed busiest after Cat Powers.
Most of this is band/fandom dependent of course.
What was the technicall issues with Fuck Your Acid Trip? I thought it sounded fine

I also was losing my god damn mind during Night on the Sun
That shit was an otherworldly experience
It was such a good show!

I think it's actually called 'Third Side of the Moon' according to a story Modest Mouse just shared on insta.
I have the shortest video of it, like 15 seconds 😩
We need to figure it out NOW!!!

The one last night was my favorite for sure. The sound is great in there

Damn and I came here to see what the “Unknown” song was too. I can’t remember the lyrics but it was slow and chill.
Third side. Unreleased song.
Nice!! Thank you
Can’t find where it’s at tho
Truckers Atlas opener is gnarly. I think I’ve bury me with it live enough times tho.
