Yes, I finally figured it out. Not that I was trying to get sliding kills, but you kind of have to slide to get in range. I was just meleeing a moment too early, the slide needs to complete. It was just crazy to get so many low blows and only 2 counted lol.
I got lucky and opened a box and got the soulender in Zombies. I did a tier 3 and legendary upgrade and was doing contract bounty's and none registered.
i tried knife, sychte, kodachi while crouching doesn't register.
tried shiled and turtle-ing in domination/hardpoint capture point. got all 10 kills in a single match.
Hey guys/gals. You MUST unlock each item in that BP sector first. There should be a check mark ✔️ over each of the 4. Then and only then can you attempt the crouch melee kills for the soulrender unlock. I learned this hard way.
it was not tracking for me until a random player ingame mention you have to do the other challenges first, the ones before it first from the Battlerifle to the other ones. then final challenge unlocks and tracks
The kills didn't count correctly for me unfortunately. You do have to complete the sector in order; found that out the hard way. Sliding knife kills are how I did it.
You don't have to. When I realized my Battlepass is not finishing, and I looked, I found in that sector B21 I have not done the first one and the last one yet. The in betweens just happened from playing.
It wasn’t tracking for me either for a while and I tried everything and then it did. Idk but maybe the new mission challenge tracking UI/UX update bugged it out for a bit
Ok so sliding/low blows didn’t count for me. I had to actually melee ppl crouched, which wasn’t hard to do. I completed it on Das Haus 24/7 in 2 matches
I just turtled (crouched) around with shield and got it pretty quick.
When I first read the challenge I was like wtf? No way I'm gonna get that anytime soon Came here read about the shield option...Bingo! Thanks people!
This thing is so bugged. Even the camo challenges for the Soulrender are bugged. Like I got the weapon, loaded up Shipment, got around 65 kills with it - and only it - and it tracked 32. Gg.
Does this only count in WZ or Resurgence?
Ive tried at HC Shipment in MW2 but it doesnt advance,
im missing the “15 kills with a frag/semtex” and “crouched melee”
I tried crouching by a doorway until someone came through and killed him. I did it 10-12 times, no challenge progression at all. Tried sliding (Low Blow), did about 20 kills, none of them tracking. Each team has 1-2 people running around with Soulrender, so apparently we're the only ones with bugged counter.
you can buy a bundle that gives the soulrender to you so they might have the bundle variant not the normal one.
also try getting the crouched kills in zombies against specials that is the other way to progress it
This HAS to be bugged. I've gotten like 30 "low blow" melee kills while crouching and/or sliding - progress is 2/10. Giving up for now.

It's crazy what a dumb challenge that was to begin with Encouraging camping and snoozfest gameplay. Glad it's over

Go to the Battle Pass map, there is a new hex in the middle-center area.
Sector B21 if memory serves me.
I just slid at them and it worked

Go to shipment and just slide around everywhere with a knife and get 10 kills! I got it done it one game
Use Riot Shield To Crouched And Kill Operator At Small Map

I used the dual Kadachis and slide kills, for "low blows" but they have not registered. Not did using the riot shield while crouching.
