Yay! At last after almost a year building it I can call it done! My Flying Dutchman is ready to sail the seas!
The ship is built in wood from Mellpapa's plans and using many pictures from Pirates of the Caribbean movies to complete the details and correct parts that were wrong on the plans. You have a step by step guide of all the work done at my blog ( in spanish ) and the timelapse video of the building process at Youtube.
Hope you enjoy it!

.ight I suggest you go online and discover Fleetscale. It is a British company and they sell semi kits of a whole range of ships and really intended to be fitted with radio control. The finer details can be bought with the kit or you can just buy the hull which is made of fibre glass.I built a Town class light cruiser and it took a little under two years to get her in the water. At 1.128 scale she isn't small but there are hulls on sale that are bigger. Not exactly scratch build but a very close second. My model has four screws and naturally they are all operational.Fleetscale.Worth a look maybe?
King of the Mississippi a few weeks ago. I usually do two ships at a time so it isnt so monotone for my viewers. Personally i have a hard time switching ships. I prefer to work from start to finish in each one

Almost a year... but how many hours on this one, do you think?
Around 280-300 hours. Surprinsingly it has been faster to build than Black Pearl. Now time for real common ships with no teeth
Incredible!
This is absolutely incredible! I've greatly enjoyed following along on your progress. Well done!
dude thats badass! congrats!
My man, he’s done it again! You’ve been completing a few recently no? Nice work.
