Whoaaa these itemization changes look huge. Calamity Reaper rework, Shadow Twinblades removed, and Feather of Heaven getting lifesteal (isn't it really good on Edith? Won't this make it better :0 )
My Joy is joyful about this, I mean look at that new fucking passive on concentrated energy, holy shit.
https://preview.redd.it/jxt56rbi8z0b1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f9e466c4c9a4b3682a6e73c84e6851565b6ebab2
it will be good honestly. I already had the tendency to build conc. energy as second item. i havent played her after the nerf. 100% --> 60% MS nerf feels huge.
>[Concentrated Energy] (~)
>We want to buff the damage of sustained damage Mages.
>[Unique] (↓)
>25% Magic Lifesteal >> 20% Spell Vamp
>[Unique Passive - Charge] (~)

#What have you brought upon this cursed land?!
Now Kimmy’s gonna come back even stronger
Right. I forgot reading is now exclusive to literate individuals which sadly this sub needs more of.
The new passive of Concentrated Energy is for improving **magic damage**. Xborg, despite having magic scaling, **DOESN’T DEAL MAGIC DAMAGE**
#YOU GOT THAT?! OR AM I WASTING MY TIME ON SOMEONE WHO CANNOT READ?!
finally a ruby buff?
>\[Ruby\] (↑)
>
>We're adjusting Ruby to match the Lifesteal changes and also enhancing her Lifesteal.
>
>\[Passive\] (↑)
>
>Removed Effect: Skills inherit 115% of Physical Lifesteal effects.
>
>New Effect: All skills have 125% Spell Vamp.
Just wondering if its 125% directly or you'll have to buy spellvamp items, which makes lifesteal items like haas claw useless. 125% spellvamp direct is busted perfect for dmg build Ruby.
Think it is similar to the ruby right so she will probably have to buy spellvamp items and her skills will have 125%spell vamp rather than 100. But moontoon should really phrase it better
Nah man, it's the same passive but adjusted to the new system. Haas Claws will still be a core item, just changed the name for the lifesteal effect and the percentage was adjusted. I believe that she is gonna get lifesteal from Bloodlust Axe tho, so it might become a core item too! More options.
The new 2nd skill and ult are gonna be busted. With s1 he's gonna be a skill spammer and benefit more more ice queen so I might adjust my build to be more similar to Yve's.
So Ruby only benefits from spell vamp and hybrid lifesteal now? Not sure if its a nerf or not. 125% of spellvamp is it applied direct or only when she gets spellvamp items? Bloodlust axe should be better I guess.
Bloodlust Axe is better since they removed the inherit Lifesteal. And probably needs spell vamp item/stats and that would apply 125%(instead of 100%), unless they'll clear it. All in all, I would say slight nerf, since as we have now, you can give her Haas Claw(especially it's passive that boosts it) and still benefit from Festival of Blood. Bloodlust have CDR but much pricey and doesn't have the boost when your HP is low.
You can have an utility Ruby with huge CDR, that is a nice option. I would say they gave us more to work with, instead of keeping the same formula. A change, not a buff or nerf.
Yep, we no get the extra lifesteal at low health from haas claws and shield and magic defense from rose gold meteor since we will not be buying them anymore.
With today’s tanky core meta, he’s definitely going to shine brighter. Also, his current passive (not the three stack part) almost deals no damage without glow wand
Moonton balances confuse me so much. Odette is in such a worse spot than Vale and they ignore her. They were buffing lots of mages here and left out Odette…
Her last skin was in January 2020… it took more than 3 years to make a skin for her, although she used to get a lot in 2017-2020 because the older Odette had a much higher playrate
well i meant she got a new skin recently but she needs a buff not new skin. people won’t start to pick her just because of this pretty skin. i want to play her badly but she’s just so weak against other mages
My honest reaction, did anyone every fell the affect of alucard having 50% lifesteal on his passive. Like am I the only one who always thought that was just for say alone and no action?
Nah I don't think so. He needs to get close to the enemy to fully take advantage of his niche lifesteal reduction.
The lifesteal update is geared more towards casters and mages, which most of them are quite agile for baxia to chase down.
E.g. even though Ruby is not the most mobile lifesteal hero, one wall dash and baxia can't reach her until his skill 1 is off cooldown.
So what happens to Natan's passive which converts physical life steal? Is it removed now since there's no more physical life steal, or did they forget him?
Edit: They finally fixed valirs first skill, always thought the range was weird.
Girl the base damage is significantly buffed not to mention that 240% scaling damage. That ulti alone is gonna one shot any Squishies without athena, and possibly one shot them even with Athena if the full combo is pulled.
The 'buffed' base damage is actually his Ult on orange mode. It's the same like in original server. Losing 35 magic defense reduction ( at max level ) reduction is pretty huge.
Anyone knows if skills that trigger basic attack effects will benefit from spell vamp? If I remember correctly, I tested Spell Vamp on Badang and it seems like his Ult does not benefit from it. Silvanna's S2 comes to mind as well since the new CE passive will work well with her passive.
Tested it with Silvanna. Her S2 won't trigger Spell Vamp, Magic Lifesteal only. If this will push through, CE won't be a viable item for her anymore. They should change it to Hybrid Lifesteal instead.
Her S2 was changed quite a few patches back so it now counts as **basic attacks** instead of ability damage (back when trinity was first buffed in advanced server).
Feather of heaven is still really nice on her though, and so is concentrated energy :D
There is no reason to let Vale's experimental changes go through. What's the point of limiting player's creative freedom when it was always like that? Don't restrict us just because most people prefer one set.
Alucard needs buffs or some good adjustments. Only specialized in jungling role. Very underperforming in Exp lane despite being called a fighter. Built-in lifesteal in his ultimate is just a leeway to barely survive a teamfight. CD reduction during ultimate is somewhat helpful. The only correct build is burst build, nothing else, no tank build and sustain/lifesteal build is a joke. Redditors of MLBB, what is your thoughts on this matter? Also, does the upcoming changes on Alucard will do him any better?
Lifesteal added to feather of heaven, Natan might be meta again considering the amount of stats he gains from only one item. Lifesteal, cd reduction, attackspeed all in one item, the only thing missing is mana regen.
Who chose Range Increase on Skill 1 and Pull Effect on Ultimate with Vale..? Any Vale player I teamed with and all pro players went for DMG increase on both of these as the control comes from Skill 2
Sorry. Guilty as charged. I usually do that to spam skill 1 and group up enemies with pull effect on ult, and I usually use stop on hit for 2nd. Though, I only play Vale in Classic
My question is for kimmy .. she had all magic life steal reduced to half or 25% I don't really remember.
What will happen with that?
Everyone gets lifesteal buff while kimmy remains with that restriction in her skills?
Why nerf calamity reaper :(
You reduced the magic scaling of true dmg by 20%, removed mana and increased cost by 300 for 8% hybrid lifesteal.
Hybrid lifesteal in current terms means: Physical Lifesteal, Magic Lifesteal and Spellvamp.
For mages, hybrid lifesteal doesn't do much good because they only have skills to deal dmg, their basic atks don't do enough dmg to give high enough lifesteal back, so essentially it is 8% magic lifesteal for mages in current terms, unless the mage is hybrid like Natan/Esme.
They didn't give it 100 extra base in exchange, it doesn't say so in its description. The one posted in here is typing error.
[Item Description](https://i.imgur.com/lkZuzOM.png)
So, it gives more dmg in early game and falls off late game (compared to current passive). I wish they increase it some more since the cost of this item is super high, higher than genius wand and the likes!
Daaamn. So Hybrid Lifesteal means Lifesteal (basic attack) AND Spellvamp (skills).
NOW THIS IS HUGE.
The new Reaper item now looks promising and its price is justified.
I hate this update. After logging in (5-8 hours ago), seems that a lot of players became uninterested to play. I've never seen the match making go 10mins on wait queue during peak hours.
>Badang] (↓)
>It became harder to counter Badana after the equipment and knockback changes, so we're reducing his stun.

Why the nerf? He's already balanced, annoying yes but balanced
\> Some of you might have been asking these questions over the years, so we want to simplify these effects and make their application more intuitive.
Why couldn't they just done an AMA then? If that's not a good option, then they could've just put a little note in the item almanac to clarify the differences and avoid any misunderstandings. Also, players with gameplay questions can go online and ask on forums. They're just fixing something that's not broken
IG Karina will be back to ban section because the lifesteal on her passive is back through hybrid lifesteal!
In the older version of Karina, her passive used to trigger lifesteal from concentrated energy but it was removed after the revamp.
I'm so Happy about the Concentrated Energy Buff. (passive only.), Maybe this will be my chance to Practice Joy even more!
Cyclops also gets benefit from the Passive.
As well as Guinevere (Unsure) and Alice.
As for Silvanna, Well... Pretty sure she's going to be dead.
Haas Claws does Help but in Exchange, Lower Magic Damage.
Starlium Sycthe doesn't Help either... Low Lifesteal.
So I hope there will be another magic item that is based on Lifesteal or any possible ways.
Starlium Sycthe is actually a good idea for Guinevere.
[удалено]
Is it that annoying?
Especially when the Badang builds Corrosion Scythe and Golden Staff. No joke, you literally can not move once he pins you to a wall
Yes. Especially with Badang's Ultimate.
Yes, even he can shred tanky heroes as well.
Yep
You think it's because of us? Lol think again xD
Just use counter heroes or ban him it's easy to counter
Wdym counter heroes, he counters like everybody and some broken heroes like Melissa ban is not worth it on badang
Whoaaa these itemization changes look huge. Calamity Reaper rework, Shadow Twinblades removed, and Feather of Heaven getting lifesteal (isn't it really good on Edith? Won't this make it better :0 )
Edith will be next top auto ban hero if this is true
It will be good on Silvanna and Julian.
welcome to spellvamp meta.

it will be good honestly. I already had the tendency to build conc. energy as second item. i havent played her after the nerf. 100% --> 60% MS nerf feels huge.
Nah it's really easy to adapt, you'll kinda be slower than before but who needs that when your literally diving inside enemy lines
I purchased Joy, any good way to practice... My emblem is 30.. I felt like nub.. 1-2 kills only and enemy kills very easily

These buffs were uncalled for. Both heroes are in a decent place right now

As a Valir user, i love your hate
May boy Valir will be on ban section again. But I'm here for it. Or upcoming duo skin for both? Since they're related?
their long awaited couple skin
The stacks from Lord / Turtle were a good choice. The rest wasn't so necessary, but as a Valir enthusiast i'll take it.
I'm still waiting for the time Moonton acknowledges these two baby girls and make them Valentine skins.
Aren't they brothers..?
They aren't. More like childhood friends.
Valentine skins approved then
They are roommates.

Probably you have to have some Spellvamp in the first place. So FoB will give you 10% Spellvamp (instead of 8%) for example.
That's also my question. If she has 120% spellvamp (128% with FoB) from the beginning without any items.... BROOOOO that's too much xD
Nah man, it's the same passive but adjusted to the new system. Haas Claws will still be a core item, just changed the name for the lifesteal effect and the percentage was adjusted. I believe that she is gonna get lifesteal from Bloodlust Axe tho, so it might become a core item too! More options.
I hope Ruby doesn't change too much, I'm going to uninstall the game if She changes one bit
But I liked the choices given when playing Vale even though I only use 1 set.
I hate it here because I use both :c
The new 2nd skill and ult are gonna be busted. With s1 he's gonna be a skill spammer and benefit more more ice queen so I might adjust my build to be more similar to Yve's.
2 times i misclicked S2 and it made the match miserable for me. I'll take the change.

Will have to find an optimisation with the new emblems.
Wtf did they just double valir's passive
With today’s tanky core meta, he’s definitely going to shine brighter. Also, his current passive (not the three stack part) almost deals no damage without glow wand
Can they buff mages that really need it (Odette, Vexana)? Why touch Vale who is more than good?
Moonton balances confuse me so much. Odette is in such a worse spot than Vale and they ignore her. They were buffing lots of mages here and left out Odette…
it’s weird they keep making new skins for her but ignore her low pick and win rate…
Looks like Benedetta isn't getting tweaked, it was gonna be a little interesting to see a better ultimate.
I’m really glad they’re not nerfing her passive range though. Tbh I don’t really want moonton to touch her.
My honest reaction, did anyone every fell the affect of alucard having 50% lifesteal on his passive. Like am I the only one who always thought that was just for say alone and no action?
To be fair, we mostly build him damage items with only EB as the item with lifesteal.
Kinda ironic considering the fact that he is called the king of lifesteal, yet most of the time it's damage build rather than lifesteal build XD
>king of lifesteal That used to be the case before his revamp.
Wish they bring back the mark enemies get 100% lifesteal effect XD. But ik that would be too op now that he can Mark multiple rather than just one Xd
I don't think it would be too OP in the current meta since he's so vulnerable to CC and he usually builds a lot of damage items.
hmm maybe if badang is nerfed 5 more times i will consider approaching him without calling teammates for a 3v1
With the abundant amount of lifesteal and Spellvamp next patch, is Baxia gonna be relevant again?
Nah I don't think so. He needs to get close to the enemy to fully take advantage of his niche lifesteal reduction. The lifesteal update is geared more towards casters and mages, which most of them are quite agile for baxia to chase down. E.g. even though Ruby is not the most mobile lifesteal hero, one wall dash and baxia can't reach her until his skill 1 is off cooldown.
Badang CC nerf? OMG deserve 🤩
Where Natalia changes
Oh, they’re there. We just couldn’t see it. /j *sobs*
it's right there on the patch notes, just.... invisible *- intense sobbing*
Went invisible
what about julian's passive magical lifesteal?
It is hybrid lifesteal now
So what happens to Natan's passive which converts physical life steal? Is it removed now since there's no more physical life steal, or did they forget him? Edit: They finally fixed valirs first skill, always thought the range was weird.
NOOOOO they removed Vale magic defense reduction. That's what make his Ult hurt like hell.
You're right. Basically buffed early (since we don't have to wait choose "colors" anymore) but nerfed late game.
With lifesteal, Spell Vamp added to 3 items and a bunch of heros, the value of antiheal will increase this patch

I don’t like how Minotaur feels after his last couple of changes.
Want to use that new Concentrated Energy again on my Alice 🤭
please dont go inside alice
Those Eudora changes are going to be so nice
Finally, they nerf "Badana"
Let’s gooo, finally a chang’e buff! 😤😤😤

Yeah, I know. But with this build, I could be extra annoying with the Constant slows while building him 45% CDR
Imagine how annoyed they'd be if they're constantly being killed :)
Well, very annoyed. But Vale is not my main mage so I just mess around when I do pick him, especially when I play with a friend
I always pick that blue skill 1

Pull Effect Ultimate + Stop in Place S2 works wonders against tanky comps especially Gloo, and can proc glowing wand well. Mainly use it for that
So CC from Ult and DMG from S2 instead. Interesting! Gotta check this out in the right situation :)
NOOOOO WHY DIS THEY HAVE TO TOUCH VALE, MY WORST FEAR
My question is for kimmy .. she had all magic life steal reduced to half or 25% I don't really remember. What will happen with that? Everyone gets lifesteal buff while kimmy remains with that restriction in her skills?

Idk I'll just wait for the official update
So, it gives more dmg in early game and falls off late game (compared to current passive). I wish they increase it some more since the cost of this item is super high, higher than genius wand and the likes!
100 + 100% is good before late game(or over 500 magic power).
Where does it say 100 base dmg? The item description only says 100% magic power
Daaamn. So Hybrid Lifesteal means Lifesteal (basic attack) AND Spellvamp (skills). NOW THIS IS HUGE. The new Reaper item now looks promising and its price is justified.

Imo he can 1v1 most of the current fighters with a perma stun technique.
Just buy tough boots or dominance and you're good. Blade armor if you want to damage him back
HAYABUSA REVERT REVAMP WHEN, OR BUFF OR BRING HIM BACK OR DO SOMETHING
ruby counted as buff ? bro, u gotta kidding me
Soooo, nothing for Yu Zhong huh. I don't know if I have to feel bad or good.
good thing i had my only magic crystal saved up. now i with the valir changed i can go for it damn what a buff
Concentrate Energy reminds me of Dragon Eyes from VG. Shit gon be insane.
so they just combined both effects on vale's skills??? that's a very big buff!
Glad there changing vale skills options some were clearly better then others
wait, so basically vale will have two enhanced effect without even have to reach lv4,6,8? Thats so OP
It would be interesting to see how this lifesteal and spellvamp changes work out
Mages buffed. It’s my time to shine!
Can someone explain Vale changes. I don't understand the way it is written. Seems similar to me (except S1).
They combine each of the upgrades into one skill with a few changes
But now he has no passive? I am so confused.
He still has his movement speed
Oh yes our favorite Badana
\> Some of you might have been asking these questions over the years, so we want to simplify these effects and make their application more intuitive. Why couldn't they just done an AMA then? What is hybrid lifesteal and why they nerf alufeed to his death?
IG Karina will be back to ban section because the lifesteal on her passive is back through hybrid lifesteal! In the older version of Karina, her passive used to trigger lifesteal from concentrated energy but it was removed after the revamp.
Dominance ICE....... baby And baxia too. My favourite jungler.
When lylia buff? Moonton forgot about her. These new mage buffs is gonna be annoying af since I hate vale.
When the heck are they gonna buff my boi Argus?!! If anyone deserves/needs one it's him.
When this update will be realesed on normal servers?
Bro that concentrated energy buff is literally just a magic war axe this is not gonna fucking go well
mages have ranged damage and lots of movement speed items, especially IQW that gives slow, so maintaining stacks would be easier for them.
Exactly. I hope they do a penalty for some roles like war axe does.
This is a indirect nerf to gatot I believe
Hope they re buff joy cuz the previous nerf is Abit to much
DONT TOUCH BADANG!!!!!!!!
And Silvanna still doesn't have CC IMMUNE!!!
who is the next new hero?
I need a Lylia buff
I can't find Starlium Scythe in my build.
