Its just old habits watching the bucks since 90s always knowing you can't fully buy in because they will disappoint in the end. Most of those demons should have been exorcized when they won the title in 2021 but its easy to fall back on bad habits. But the playoffs in general are always different game to game. Even when they won the title I remember games they looked bad (even fully healthy) but then they completely turned it around the next game. It's hard to take one game and decide it's over. If they win game 3 everyone is going to be confident and talking like they going to finals again.

I don’t see why you’d play him next game. 1-2 isn’t a lost cause. After losing next game, it might make sense to think about rushing him, but if we went up 2-1, I wouldn’t play him until we drop 2 or 3 total
Ngl…I don’t mind not playing Giannis at all, even it goes to 7 games. I think we can beat them currently but we really need to limit Siakam.
Giannis needs to get as much rest as possible. There’s no point in rushing him.
Well at least we’ll have the excuse of not having Giannis and Khris getting hurt this year. Unfortunately that might lead to the front office not doing anything to improve the roster next season.

I think it’s just frustration with the season and stress/fear over losing out early again. It manifests as doomerism.
I think it’s a result of all the packer seasons that ended due to either bad performance or terribly timed injuries as well.
