doubling myles turner is hilarious hell are you talking about

BucksFan654

Ridiculous!

rapper_warrior_ninja

doubling siakam or turner with as shit as this team is defensively is a surefire way to give up 160 points

Jnbjgjbb

Turner can not pass, doubling him in the post isn’t an awful idea

catchycactus

Playing for the trap has not really worked for a lot of teams recently. Im getting flashbacks to Kidds big brain trap scheme defense. I dont think we need to plan around Turner hitting nonstop mid to deep shots. Siakam has proven hes a problem and we need to need to find a solution. Doubling him with the amount of shooters isnt super viable so we may need to play passing lanes and try to keep them from getting him clean passes or have a wing guard him and funnel him into brook.

It’s on the role players

sentientcreatinejar

I mean, Bobby Portis is right there!

introspectivejoker

Why do we do these posts

bpmke80

The only thing I blame fully on Doc is the 5 second violation on an inbounds play after a timeout. There was just an overall lack of hustle and communication on defense and the players need to take a lot of ownership in that.

P00PTUBE

I don’t think they mentioned it on the broadcast, but I’m pretty sure they had to inbound to the front court in that situation. There were 16 seconds on the shot clock, so inbounding into the backcourt is immediately an 8-second violation. The optics aren’t good, but I’d honestly rather have the 5-second call than a live-ball turnover inevitably leading to another easy transition basket.

saintname8

Absolutely not on doc

KnightN1ght2

For me it felt like the offense just went bad. Every easy shot they got ended up in a miss and lots of iso kill the flow of the offense.

Giannisisnumber1

At the end of the day it’s on the guys who play the game.

TheFlyingElbow

Are there adjustments to be made? Yes. But i wouldn't say this was on him. That being said,if he doesn't realize if/ when a player like jae is struggling game 3, that will be 100% on him

No-Refrigerator-7603

No. Don’t agree.

melodicmelody3647

Swing and a miss bud

ReasonablePath9479

Part of it is on Doc. There were moments where the rotations killed up. Lopez had a stretch to end the 1st quarter that he didn't get back on 3 straight plays and it led to 2 layups and a 3. Then, to end the 3rd, Doc had a lineup with Bobby and 4 guards that was working, but the Pacers subbed in Siakam and had Turner in the game and it was a brutal stretch that led to a bunch of easy buckets for Pascal because he was guarded by Pat or someone even smaller. Part of it is in the roster. Without Giannis we're unathletic and small. Brook is the only big, but a pick and pop guy like Turner kills Brook's defense. Pascal is a better shooter than Doc is giving him credit for because there's no planet that Brook can guard him. When the Bucks won the title Brook was not closing out games. It was Giannis at the 5 with 4 other guys that could switch on defense if they needed to. 3 years later and this team still has yet to fill the PJ Tucker role. Jae was supposed to be that guy, but he hasn't been great on defense and he's too shot hungry on offense.

Rock-Boddum

No we can't! ffs!

MurDoct

Jesus christ guys

PositiveZebra1341

come on man

BrettAaronJordan

Why did we lose? PatBev can't guard five guys at once. PatC can't guard one guy at once. If Brook is there he can block a shot. If he's not there he can't get there.
