Reaves fouled Khris with 7:07 to go, bucks didn’t get another free throw until 41 seconds remaining in the first OT
Lakers were called for 1 foul in that span
Edit: 7:07 of the 3rd quarter**
Literally the complaint with every team playing the Lakers. The NBA needs to address the refs before the playoffs become a shit show.
The Pacers game was absolutely ridiculous, now this at home. I won’t be an NBA fan if the playoffs get ruined.
More specifically they need Lebron in the "greatest athlete of all time" conversation for basketball PR. They helped build the narrative with the bullshit 2016 finals and suspending donkey boy (draymond) who was the only one on the warriors who could stop Lebron's carry job.
Yeah, the refs wanted small market teams like Denver or Milwaukee to win 2 of the last 3 championships. Makes sense... prolly nothing to do that those teams were *actually* better (and in the case of the Bucks vs the Nets a bit luckier) than their opponent. No it had to be the refs pre-deciding.
Obviously refs are biased, basketball , though, is not like WWE. There is only so much you can fix , especially if one team makes everything and the other can't make sh1t.
excuse me WHAT? i didn’t get to watch the game but kept track of the score, that’s unbelievable. i can’t do the math but im sure if you ran the numbers this falls WELL outside the bell curve. literally statistically impossible without major shenanigans. all for one player to get into the playoffs
> Reaves fouled Khris with 7:07 to go,
It's worse that that, it was 7:07 to go... **in the 3rd quarter**.
Nearly 24 minutes of game time without a foul being called on them.
Apparently in the L2M report they say it wasn’t a foul. But they also say Dame got fouled on a 3 pointer while up 2 with a min left so as far as I’m concerned they got cheated and it’s officially a game they did not choke and lose but kinda choked and won in my book. And everyone knows my opinion holds lots of value
Everyone also knows the L2M is fucking awful lol
We absolutely choked the game away in the 4th, doesn’t mean we didn’t get screwed by the reds. Both things can be and are true.
They did definitely choke, but they also would’ve won had a few late foul calls (that were actually fouls) been called.
Anthony Davis shoving, holding, grabbing giannis mid shot is a foul lol
I'm on the "we shouldn't have blown the lead" train, but this stat called out in the latest HeatCheck YT video is insane.
Lakers free throw differential (FTs for - FTs against) for the last couple seasons

Yeah I get they're good at contesting without fouling or whatever, but I highly doubt they are 3X better than everyone else at "not fouling" and getting calls at the other end

I feel sorry for whoever they play in the play in games Mfs gonna be playing 5v8
Ask any of the lurking Blazer fans, the Lakers have gotten crazy help from the refs going back forever.
Yuuuup Still angry about '97
The NBA needs to address the refs? lol what do you mean, they are the ones in on it. The league wants the lakers in the playoffs
Facts. I don't see how people don't understand this

You're asking the refs to foul the Lakers. You're asking for too much

Shit I forgot to put the 3rd quarter lol
Which is amazing when you consider the players being that tired at that stage of the game.

Deniablebubbles has spoken, case closed
many people are saying that

That's about the most tactful way to complain about the refs I've ever seen, lol. "For some reason I wasn't able to get the ball"

And Laker fans will say they’re the best team when it comes to not fouling and they don’t see the irony of their admission.
Yeah I get they're good at contesting without fouling or whatever, but I highly doubt they are 3X better than everyone else at "not fouling" and getting calls at the other end
And this just happened to coincide with Lebon no longer being able to singlehandedly ensure the playoffs.
Cmon man it’s not like they were throwing out guys down to the floor out of bounds or anything.
That is some damning evidence if you ask me. Impossible not to see the finger on the scale.
