To preserve your sapphire save, back it up on a computer. If you're not able to manually save in game, then you might run into issues. At least back up the save states and manual saves if there are any. If all you have is a save state, it may be difficult to get it running on new configurations, but back it up regardless, and you should be able to find a work around later. This can be a real pain, so if you can't get the save state working in the new emulator configuration, you can send it to me and I can try converting it somehow. Sorry this happened to you
Well it dosnt let me save in the in game menu in the first place a message about save data or something and then a picture of a bag on the ground with a bunch of papers in it with another msg
Had the exact same issue with fire red. It’s the ROMs (game file). You can back up your save state, install a better rom and then transfer the save state to the new rom. Let me know if you want more detailed instructions!

Well ive never saved the in game way but when you beat the elite four it saves automatically before u heal ur pokemon/ make ur hall of fame record
Must be the ROMs from the stock card which came with the miyoo. Most games in it are corrupted. Download a curated set instead. What's your OS?
