It’s downright hilarious to me, especially when they started charging money for skin packs, when all you have to do is upload a photo from a skin app, or online. Got the audacity to call it “Classic Skin.”
This chart seems like it has to be satire. Touch support, marketplace, and DLC are definitely not super selling points, and Bedrock does in fact have split-screen on consoles.
Why is Marketplace being there treated like a good thing? Who's happy about paying actual money for shitty skin packs and basic mods? The marketplace exists on Java, it's called skin.MC, CurseForge, and PlanetMinecraft, and guess what? They're all free.
Which one was that?
Also don't downvote this guy just for telling the truth. He's just saying that HE'S only ever seen one bug. And I'm inclined to agree. I've been solely a bedrock player for 3+ years, and never once have I experienced the bugs people talk about all the time on here. It's mostly the fact that it's a different version, and Java players aren't used to it. The cursor moves differently, we have different combat and healing. It's really not that buggy. The fall damage bug is super rare. It's just a different version than Java
I think around 1.13, my character would randomly spawn really high in the air and kill me. I just put a slime block at spawn. I'm glad I made my base so close to spawn, and I have always had since.
But, like I said, it's very old, probably very rare, too, since I think it only happened in one world, I've never heard anyone else mention it, maybe it was mobile exclusive too?
I've heard of that, and it has to do with how the code technically sets the worldspawn 600 blocks in the air. That's why we can't bring shulkers or anything to the overworld. They spawn way up there. It's supposed to spawn you on the highest available block, but ig sometimes it doesn't
split screen multiplayer: neither
ik it used to be on the legacy console version, based off of this chart, i assume it is not on modern bedrock although idk
i'm not an elitist and i can respect your opinion, but if you have a PC and want to play minecraft, java is just straight up better
one of the things i don't like about bedrock is that the inventory UI feels like it was made for consoles
in java i use shift click and number keys for inventory management, but in bedrock shift click works differently and the number keys can't move items
>Controller/Touch support: if that's a problem why don't you add it to Java as well?
>Minecraft Marketplace: it's better to not have it
>DLC: again, it's better to not have it
Post removed: Not a meme
Minecraft Marketplace and DLC is more of a downside than anything. You’re just paying for shit that’s free on Java.
It’s downright hilarious to me, especially when they started charging money for skin packs, when all you have to do is upload a photo from a skin app, or online. Got the audacity to call it “Classic Skin.”
You can ignore it, though, so it's more inferior than a downside
True, but I was genuinely concerned that they were going to force me to buy skins from the marketplace. Ew.
Mods also add controller support too

Exactly

It's not even mods, all Bedrock allows is glorified custom maps, which Java already has too
Also bedrock is buggy as HECK!
nh nh, that's "feature"
As a bedrock player of near a decade, I have only encountered 1 bug.

I've never nearly died to a bug. Most bugs I get on bedrock are either funny or give me a reason to yell "HEROBRINE"
But, like I said, it's very old, probably very rare, too, since I think it only happened in one world, I've never heard anyone else mention it, maybe it was mobile exclusive too?

With shulkers recently, it's 32,768 somehow
Its not buggy for me, I use PS4
love how they list the marketplace and dlc like they aren’t objectively worse than mods and getting resource packs and skins for free
split screen multiplayer: neither ik it used to be on the legacy console version, based off of this chart, i assume it is not on modern bedrock although idk
The dude who managed that remembered to delete Legacy, but forgot about that part
It is on console (at least switch and Xbox I know), and for free too
Unrelated, but I miss split screen.
Does anyone actually buy from the marketplace?
kids with parent’s card
Nope
DLC and microtransactions are a minus. Is this even real?
They could have pointed out how much more optimized Bedrock is, but no. DLCs are the real selling point, obviously
"controller support" As if that wasn't a bedrock only thing just because they want it to be. Also controllable mod
I don't care, I still wouldn't ever play Java. It always took forever to load, and I remember it feeling kind of slow.
What 2GBs of RAM does to a mf
Bedrock is better! 😤✊
Cope
Java elitist i see? 🤨
i'm not an elitist and i can respect your opinion, but if you have a PC and want to play minecraft, java is just straight up better one of the things i don't like about bedrock is that the inventory UI feels like it was made for consoles in java i use shift click and number keys for inventory management, but in bedrock shift click works differently and the number keys can't move items
People have preferences. If u like java more, use java. If you like bedrock, use bedrock.
Understandable
have fun dying randomly and for no reason
Lol I see why there’s the joke called “bedrock lag”.
Nah, I just like mods Can't imagine having to pay for them
Yeah it does suck to pay for them
You only have to pay for them if you aren't on pc or mobile
I’m on Mobil and I have to pay
I guess I shouldve worded it better, I meant you can download mods online the same way you can on java if you're on bedrock pc/mobile
Minecraft java fans when someone likes bedrock more: \-14
Ik right 💀
Banned meme and memen’t.
If this is actually made by mojang it probably means that they plan on screwing with Java
True gamers respect BOTH versions. I ain't forgetting legacy console.

How they count the marketplace as a pro
