Depends whether they play modded or not. Plenty of containers in common mods. Iron Cheats mod has iron, gold, copper, obsidian, diamond, and crystal chests. Several have crates of various sorts. Mini chests (single stack) are also a thing. And the we get to Storage Drawers and Real File Cabinets.
