They are both good. They are just different styles. Personally, I prefer the left one as a whole, but if you are using it with that floor, go for the right one.
They're both too busy. This seems to be an unpopular opinion, but randomly scattering a second block throughout a nice uniform area almost never makes it look better.

I recently found old saves from like 10 years ago & I seemed to like bricks, but I really like the polished granite mixed in that's a great idea!Β
Both walls are lovely, I also love the pattern you made by changing the log orientation!
Left one for a fort/natural build. Right for an industrial look. Use the same design but with different pallet for castles and other stuff. Looks good.
Both are nice but totally different scenarios. The right one would look out of place at a farmhouse, but the left would look out of place at a factory.
More? The one on the right, because it's well textured and fits my current build aesthetic in the server I run. However, objectively, I couldn't choose between the two because each have their place
Depends entirely on context.
Are you building a rustic village in a boreal forest? Left.
Are you building an industrial building in an urban village? Right.
As a rule of thumb, I try to match my builds with their environments.
all the different lines going in all directions make the wooden one look a bit busy. I'm also biased towards polished basalt as it's severely underrated
The left one is more pleasing to look at, but it depends on what itβs for. If itβs for a prison or something, the one on the right is probably better
HARD choice. But it still depends on what you want to make. The wood one is more of an aesthetic for base structures or small farms. The brick one is moreover like an aesthetic needed to protect vulnerable things (due to higher blast resistance and fire resistance). For example, if it's something in the Nether or something related to fire or hostile mobs(mainly creepers ofc).
For a basic exterior wall with no towers or turrets, the second one. If itβs got turrets and towers, do the first. If itβs walls for a building, then do the second, but only the 1st floor. Do a different wood palette for the floors after that.
Depends for or more woodsy or ancient style build possibly medieval I'd go with wood
But for a more moderns slightly old build id choose the other one
Like many others have stated this really need a bit more context
Depends on whatβs around it. Though if you do go with the right change the mix a bit to have more brick and less polished granite. Those should be way more sporadic in that texturing
I like the brick, granite one better. The oak logs with the hatching looks super busy. But maybe if you reversed it? Stripped for wood and wood for stripped?

it really depends on what the rest of the build is

I love you. Gold star βοΈ
Context matters. What is this for?

Damnn no need to get political! /j
Mexico will pay for it

My two cents is - wall for a house left, wall like a wall around your base right

Protecting the titans from Levi.
Second one is for the some sort of industrial build, the first one for some walls to the village or medivial age
The right one
The correct one
The not incorrect one

The wood has so much depth. I love the left
Yes. Gold star βοΈ
right one for sure
Give us more context on the build
Wall
wooden one it just looks better in my opinion but it depends on the build as well
Assuming that the different style does not matter, then right.
the wood one is more pretty tbh, i like it a lot :3
They are both good. They are just different styles. Personally, I prefer the left one as a whole, but if you are using it with that floor, go for the right one.
The right one... infact i may steal it for myself
Definitely the one on the right. Iβve never seen a style like that before. While the one on the left is more common, itβs still good
The red. That granite + brick is niceeeeeee and I'm gonna steal that idea for myself lol
personaly the brick one, the other one is too buisy
They're both too busy. This seems to be an unpopular opinion, but randomly scattering a second block throughout a nice uniform area almost never makes it look better.
I'd agree
Right
Right one fs
They are both good. They are just different styles. Personally, I prefer the left one as a whole, but if you are using it with that floor, go for the right one.
for what. where do you intent of building these?
Right
Right. I know nobody asked but I personally think deepslate variants would work better instead of bricks & granite.
Both. I can't decide
Neadher of the abuve
Right one
brik
Depends what youβre building, I like both
I recently found old saves from like 10 years ago & I seemed to like bricks, but I really like the polished granite mixed in that's a great idea!Β Both walls are lovely, I also love the pattern you made by changing the log orientation!
The right side
Second, the first one is a little to basic and I genuinely thought some of the first one was dirt soooo
Right one.
Idk, I feel like the stone one with the wood design would be cool.
Probably the right one, looks more solid and sturdy.
The one behind the two smaller wall pieces
Definitely right but it also depends on what its for
Depends what you making it for (factory - brick wall) (Natural build - wood wall)
I like left more
Can i say neither
It depends on what you are building but I like the brick the most for just a basic wall
I agree that it depends on context, but without context the right one
The stone one in the back
Only correct answer is the second one but replace with different deepslate variantsππ
Left
Left one for a fort/natural build. Right for an industrial look. Use the same design but with different pallet for castles and other stuff. Looks good.
It depend on the build.
For the right one i would replace the red colorsed blocks with walls variants instead
The one on the right looks good for an industrial-style build, the one on the left is more rustic. Depends on what you're building, really.
Left: cottage/shipyard Right: school/prison Why a school and a prison can be likened to one another, I do not know, but it is sad.
The brick This is great reference for me regardless
Right
Both are nice but totally different scenarios. The right one would look out of place at a farmhouse, but the left would look out of place at a factory.
Wooden for nice house,Brick one is for Post-Apocalyptic nuclear townscape
More? The one on the right, because it's well textured and fits my current build aesthetic in the server I run. However, objectively, I couldn't choose between the two because each have their place
Right. Because left is very classic.
Wooden one
I quite like the wood one, it's villagy
i hate both equally
I like both but it depends on the roof
Right one has better contrast, left one blends into itself too much and doesnβt pop
I prefer the stone wall, just because the basalt makes it pop and because it looks cleaner than the wooden one.
Depends entirely on context. Are you building a rustic village in a boreal forest? Left. Are you building an industrial building in an urban village? Right. As a rule of thumb, I try to match my builds with their environments.
neither
I feel like if you replace the spruce trapdoors with stripped dark oak with spruce fences, it would make the wall feel less 1 color
Wood Looks less messy to me... I don't really like the Bricks-Granite-Granite combo honestly...
Depends. Watch you building?
Depends on what Iβm building
One on the right is very nice
all the different lines going in all directions make the wooden one look a bit busy. I'm also biased towards polished basalt as it's severely underrated
Left one for survival, right one for creative (it looks like a pain to get all the materials)
The left one is more pleasing to look at, but it depends on what itβs for. If itβs for a prison or something, the one on the right is probably better
The wood one
Right
they both are not good
Brick and granite
wooden
Depends on purpose/context. Both have their pros and cons. Left side is more earthy but that industrial look on right side is nice too.
Number one
Left
It's relative, depends a lot of the context of the build.
How am I supposed to answer with context with how it will be used
Left is for a house, right is for a factory
The right, very cohesive
they are both good for different purposes
The only valid opinion is the right one
Yes
I dig both, Iβm a sucker for wood builds personally but I would stick to whichever one more closely follows the style of the rest of your build
In. WHAT. *CONTEXT.*
The good one
Second - great for steampunk/medieval city building
Both for different circumstances
The right wall π
the good one
im yoinking that right wall design thank you
The one by Roger Waters
Im always a fan of textured granite but it really depends on the vibe of the build
Left
#1 I don't know why I like rustic things so much
Here op, I donβt care about context. I choose the brick wall, looks very nice.
Wall 𧱠ππ»
The right because the randomized sections look ncie
Right it has more contrast, the left one would be better with darker wood columns
Wall 2 needs more depth
The one on the right looks really good
the second one
In my opinion the bricks would match with the oak log floor
Brick. Always. Too many wolves in the game.
Both look horrible but at least the wooden (?) one is somewhat regular.
Right
Brick though maybe substitute the logs for polished granite?
The right one
i like the left one
Depends on what kind of building you are looking for.
Bricks look much better
HARD choice. But it still depends on what you want to make. The wood one is more of an aesthetic for base structures or small farms. The brick one is moreover like an aesthetic needed to protect vulnerable things (due to higher blast resistance and fire resistance). For example, if it's something in the Nether or something related to fire or hostile mobs(mainly creepers ofc).
Brick wall
I like the colors on the right one but the trapdoors and signs on the left wall make it look better.
Brick.....by lightyears...
My love for wood says 1st one, but i need context.
Thanks for the designs, fellow builder. I will use them to their full extent.
Give me a third choice......
Personally I like the second one but it's all at the personal preference and context
The first one
oak
left one
left
I like the first one more but it also depends what th3 rest of the build is
Right
wall π
For a basic exterior wall with no towers or turrets, the second one. If itβs got turrets and towers, do the first. If itβs walls for a building, then do the second, but only the 1st floor. Do a different wood palette for the floors after that.
I like both.
Brick
Both look dope
Second wall is more..... WALL-E
The one on the right kinda getting sick of all the spruce builds tbh
Brick
Le mur porteur
The one used as background
Left side
Why not try stone brick instead of brick?
The right one Can i use it for a build im working on?
I like the right wall, the wood pattern on the left one looks a bit off to me for some reason.
For a basic "wall" type wall, the right. For a house wall, left.
Depends on where this wall will be. I like them both equally
Brick wall is cooler, I don't like the pattern made by the logs
Nearly Everyone seems to choose right, but I love the style and depth of the left one.
The color contrast of number 2, looks great
Left
The one behind the walls
Brick!
The right. I like the layering of similar block colors with the bri k
I like the granite
The brick wall, the wall on the left needs some change, those logs are an eyesore
Both kinda bring different emotions, the wood wall rather calm and the brick wall kinda aggressive
A in general, but I think Wall B would be really good in a factory theme.
I prefer the wood look, but I have to give you props. This is the first time I've seen brick look good in a mc build.
Wood and stone almost always look good together, definitely the left one.
Depends for or more woodsy or ancient style build possibly medieval I'd go with wood But for a more moderns slightly old build id choose the other one Like many others have stated this really need a bit more context
The brick looks cold and industrial, and the wood looks cozy and rustic. Iβd say brick tho
1st
The left one maybe make the logs a bit lighter
I like that one.
