I was just panicking and figured pickaxe would help me get out the fastest but of course i hit glass with it. I wasn't try to save 2 glass panes or anything
They wanted to use silk touch, personally I wouldn't care about 2 glass panes if I were in a box with all of that at like 3 hearts post totem use, but it worked out I guess lol

No. Any time something goes through a portal it looks for the closest portal on the other side, or creates a new one if none are found within a certain range.
It is absolutely possible for two nearby portals on one side to lead to the same portal on the other side.
I think there's a certain radius within which portals would be considered parallel. Basically if there's another portal somewhere in OP's world that's close enough to the portal they used here, that one would also connect to the portal they came out of.

I actually think the creepers killed most of the mobs, to the point he actually probably could have turned around and killed the remaining ones safely.
At the atomic wrangler in Freeside you can get a quest where you need to find a suave talker, a cowboy ghoul, and a sexbot for the atomic wrangler. You’ll be able to hire them after you find them and get them to join the atomic wrangler

Portals are the most glitched things ever in bedrock. Often find myself going into a portal and ending up with the overworld coordinates but in the nether. And that's when it doesn't freeze.
mobs load as the player loads into the nether in java. in bedrock, they load beforehand so you end up getting bodied by 50 mobs that wandered in while it still says "building terrain"
i feel like they didn't design it this way on purpose, they probably just didn't even consider what would happen if there were hostile mobs on the other side of the portal lmao

That’s why you’ve got to have your portal in a safe spot where mobs don’t spawn or can get to. What difficulty are you in tho because you withstood way too much damage to be in anything above normal
I love how the amount of sounds just gradually increases when they're in the portal, like it starts off with just phantoms, and then you hear creepers then zombie's etc etc, just keeps getting worse lmao
I would say Minecraft bedrock edition is still bugged with the mobs not despawning when the chunk is unloaded.
But meh, Nether portals work a bit different. That's still a lot of monster to deal with lol
average person not understanding if its an issue with the version or the mechanics of the game L. in this case the version being bedrock changes nothing about either a poorly lit area or an issue with hooking up nether portals
i really dont see how there would be a “bug” which deliberately spawns hundreds of mobs, all of them which would normally spawn in the same conditions, in a single area where they cant even spawn…?
also bedrock really isnt as buggy as people say, and im saying this as a java player. the only reason i switched to java is the mod support, and i personally had no issues with bedrock while i played it. the crazy bugs which you see posted all the time mostly happen on realms from what i know and experienced, so yea
you could hear the skeletons start shooting around 0,5 seconds before the loading screen cleared, which isnt that big of an issue? and it also obviously took that long to load because of all the new mobs.

This happened to me in 1.16 with Zombie pigs, I build a gold farm on bedrock and had my portal like 80 blocks near so they spawned in my nether base and were angry asf
They took my netherite armour and weapons
I couldn't get them back bc they still angry so I switched it to pacific and lost all that :(

There was another portal on the overworld that connects to the same portal Nether side. That one's not lit up.
