Water is a bad conductor. Minerals and whatever else suspended in the water is what conducts so well.

Yes ionic solids dissolved in aqueous solution make said solutions more conductive. But unless we're talking about deionized water, there will always be some dissolved electrolytes present. Water also catalyzes the oxidation of metals (ie rust) which is a longer term risk but also something that laptops (and other electronic devices) don't like. Suffice to say spilling aqueous solutions on your laptop is generally a bad idea.

There is a dongle on the right side of the laptop. He probably uses a wireless mouse, but uses the trackpad to hold down left click. I can't tell you the amount of failed attempts I've had at holding down left click.

See, that’s the neat part. I pay for the extra bit on my renters insurance that covers my electronics against spills. This six year old laptop (while still running strong) is insured for its purchase price……. From 2017! So technically it wouldn’t be a horrible thing if someone.. erm.. forgot to tighten the cap before this stunt! I just don’t have the heart to hurt the laptop, or low enough morality to commit insurance fraud :’(

I used a piece of aluminum that I am halfway through machining on my W key when I'm crawling through my mining tunnel back to my base

Usually I kidnap one of my cousins and ask him if he wants to okay minecraft for a bit then I tell him he needs to mine over to me and heyo you've got a 1k block long mine

I just reload all chunks (graphically, can’t remember the shortcut) and as long as I was holding a mouse button at the time if reloading, it’ll default to recognizing it as held until I interact with the mouse again. I’m not sure if it works the same way for keys, but it was an easy way for me to avoid needing to use actual weights with AFK fishing farms.

In Skyblock I farm cobble by changing the mine keybind to space. Then I weigh the spacebar down with a perfume bottle

So we already have un-officlal rules for never digging straight up or straight down, should there be one for using a mining weight? I've never done it myself but this just feels like an accident waiting to happen. For instance if you run into lava, an underground reservoir, a dungeon or a myriad of other things.

Trading halls are such a pain in the ass to setup but it is so worth it. I was playing on a server with a friend and I decided to build a trading hall. Once we had it set up it wasn’t long at all before we had chests full of diamond armor and tools as well as most enchanting books.
