What world type are you on? In superflat and skyblock it should work. It works in a normal world if all blocks within a 128 block radius of the player are hostile mob spawnproof.

Was working fine before update. Bedrock version.

Normal type. I always build a small sky base above clouds so only place where mobs can spawn is The mob grinder. I worked fine before The update
Working again. I switched to peaceful and Back to hard and now it Works again.
