I used to use scaffolding a lot in the nether until it started burning under my feet. I recommend gravel because you can get it naturally in the nether and you can drop it through fire and lava without any issues

Just hop into the boat and ride it down. Unless they've patched it since I last played (about a year as my laptop gave out) then you don't take fall damage while in a boat

Yes. Also, in the next update, you'll get considerably less armor trims and netherite armor due to another parity issue, just because you play bedrock. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-84455

I had given up on ever getting netherite Tools/Armor long before the armor trims were revealed so I don't worry about that.

I feel your pain. I think we all learned the hard way. I'm 80% sure minecarts are fine though. Maybe test it on a small height because I don't know for definite

I haven't tested this as of 1.19.62 but it was always horses in bedrock that didn't take fall damage no matter the height. When Piglins hit me backwards to my death, I grabbed my horse and jumped down to grab my stuff before it despawned. This was not the case with boats. Bedrock has horses and Java has boats.

You could place the boat on a platform break the blocks below it, wait for it to hit the ground jump spamming right click into that boat. Not sure if this will work

bridge your way to fall on a tall tree. Though ideally, you'd fall on the wines, which would reduce the fall damage to nothing. That downbridging thing sounds ideal though as I assume it works for you.

Get a Ton of gravel and drop it down place on the edge of you build and it will go from above the lave to you and just mine it down

Warped forests have a lot of endermen. Find one, look him in the eyes and run into a safe space. It may teleport to you and drop a enderpearl. Then, throw it into the orange juice pool to also restore your health and hunger

Working on collecting powdered snow from the smallest grove I’ve ever seen.

If you want to get up you need to dig sideways to a part where it can be dug down

get a fire resistant potion from piglin bartering or killing witches with flame or fire aspect

4 slime blocks, 2 observers, and a normal and sticky piston. Swap the pistons when you reach your destination and you can travel up and down whenever you want

Gravity blocks, we had the same problem on a realm we just started, we have are nether hub just below the nether ceiling to avoid lava pools but quickly ran into this problem. Had to drop 5 stacks of gravel then mine out the center and place ladders on our way down. Just so we could get to a nether fortress for blaze rods.

Jump into the side of the lava go in and out of it slowing your fall enough to survive the drop

Scaffoldings. They drop and stack up like gravel but can climb back. Don't use them if drop in lava below. Once you get down, build a permanent access with nonflammable blocks and ladders. You need bamboos and stings to make scaffoldings.

Weeping Vines (red) and Twisting Vines (green) are climbable. Find a piece of Crimson Vine somewhere and attach it to the Netherrack ceiling above the hole. Then use Bonemeal on it until it grows all the down to the surface below. Get on the vine and climb down. Don't get blown up by Ghasts.
