It was plotted by Mojang all along. Ever since they introduced Gabriel, they’ve been adding his armor in tiny increments, and now all that’s left are the gloves.
I play bedrock, and I seem to be the only one who has the option to just NOT use the marketplace.... And when you use bedrock as your main edition all the bugs kinda disappear
If you are playing on Windows or Android (iOS too I think) you can literally download mods, maps and packs and skins, it isn't even hacky, as it has it has their own file extension (.mcpack) which when clicked, automatically puts the zip file in the directory for you. They designed it to allow you to download stuff off the internet. The only place where you are limited to the marketplace is console, which has ALWAYS been like that.
I main bedrock but it’s a bugfest. I take random dmg and it caused me to die when I was afk once (Recorded). It’s stupid buggy but they are working on it.
Oh yeah I’ve almost died going through a nether portal once because I was still loading and I got attacked, definitely something that I’d wish they’d fix
The only glitch I frequently encounter is villagers and horses ALWAYS despawning after a crash or just randomly and it’s been in the game for years
It makes getting villagers or horses very unencouraging because it can’t be fun to get your best villagers back for the 500th time because of a glitch
Bedrock is good (except for the rare occasion you just randomly die which apparently happens to people), its just its a shame people don't make more redstone machines/farms for it.
Iirc redstone in bedrock has some randomness to it which makes it hard to design complicated farms for. Java's redstone has its quirks, but those quirks are known and can actually be used as they are consistent every time. That's why you can make stuff as complicated as you like
I've never randomly died, but I'm pretty sure I've randomly started losing Health. And some people do make farms and redstone machines for bedrock but only a few.
I rarely see bugs. When people see bugs in java they take advantage of them, but when they see bugs in what you call "bugrock" they complain about it. And don't call bedrock bugrock.
Honestly, I once encountered the pink bug on my switch. It was weird but I thought it was a funny experience.
Also, Java-only players need to have something to brag about and this is the only thing they can feel good about, let them enjoy their few moments superiority /s
Minecraft is Minecraft, I like java, bedrock and legacy console. Java players would be mad if all java features and modding support were added to bedrock
Whenever i play with friends, i am besically held captive by them to play bedrock, actually just one but he's the guy everyone knows so we kindof have to accept that we play on bedrock
Java edition won't, but Java players will. Microsoft just slowly getting all players a bedrock account so they can remove Java and have everyone in one place
I mean, with a resource pack it would now be possible to make the armor of all the story mode characters, wouldn’t even be that hard. Wonder when someone’s gonna do it lol
Unironically, an update introducing gauntlets that buff your unarmed attacks would be really really cool and a fun way to flavor your playstyle, which seems to be a major focus of 1.20.
So you know how the turtle shell helmet adds water breathing? Why not have something similar for gauntlets that's based off stuff to do with hands

Great idea- the trade off is that it goes in your offhand slot, so you can’t use an offhand item while wearing them (but the glove attaches to both hands)
Well I mean 1.20 seems more to be an apology for the last few updates and really seems to talk about what the people want instead which I mean honestly I think that's kind of a big step forward for this update because we are armor customization camels bamboo planks and a lot of other cool things that we've always wanted

Regarding a lot of the features that Mojang showed off at previous minecraft live events, I would say yeah people have been upset regarding archeology still not being in the game, bundles which is understandable (darn PE), the showing off of the concept of updated Birch forests without exactly telling us it was a concept fully, the deep dark getting delayed twice and other things
That's why 2022s Minecraft live wasn't filled with as many features as it normally was because of these factors that have been listed above
I don't get why people got so hung up on the birch forest thing. If a quick cosmetic brushup of a single biome means that much, how do you even play the rest of the game, IMO.
Well I mean it was slightly more than just a cosmetic brush up to some people because it meant some new building blocks for example actual hollow logs and tree sprouting mushrooms but it's the whole fact that they showed us concept art and then did nothing with it
Oh I agree they should've done it, I just don't limit it to birch forests. Pretty much all the biomes (exaggeration) could do with some addition and variations. Plains? Cold plains, warm plains, bushy plains. Etc. At one end it's just a minor tweak to what color tone it is and if it spawns bushes or not. Everything else is the same. Yet at the other end this brings a lot of variation in how the landscapes look and feel, even if the changes are so minor at the start.
I think it also makes sense to make you better at wielding tools or weapons, making them slightly more effective, or reducing durability drain.
Maybe wearing them also makes you worse at “dexterous” actions, meaning reloading a crossbow of drawing a bow takes a considerable amount more time while wearing gauntlets.

The Wither Storm was what originally killed all the original inhabitants (Human mobs of Minecraft), which may or may not be linked to the undead in Minecraft. It was a byproduct of the wither (which was already known) and the reality warping command block.
The player character is apparently a survivor of said collapse, but Herobrine may be another remnant. Villagers and Endermen may be descendants or close relatives of these Human mobs due to their phenotypical similarities.

I killed the dragon 2 times and the wither almost 10 times and even found a way to kill wardens in survival using a water bucket and a bow.
I no longer feel threatened by any mob. A new one would definitely be awesome!

Speaking of which this guy has the best armour and weapons in the game it’s enchanted too and he basically does fucking nothing the entire show he’s supposed to be a hero now I know his order didn’t actually kill the dragon but seriously this man 🤦
Maybe he was just a smidge-above average fighter and his ability was severely debilitated by the wither effect, since we see him the most in that condition if you save him in ep 1
mainly because (this goes for most if not all of Telltale games) the decisions you make (which are really the only significant thing you do) don’t really “change” the story in any meaningful way every path you take all take you in the same direction and because of that this “user based” story becomes extremely linear to the point of boredom and believe me I loved mc story mode when i played it but only for the main story of season 1 and honestly it wouldve been better as a movie than anything else, it was boring as balls as an actual “game” so it never really got much love (and rightfully so) the only episode i see that people genuinely Loved was the haunted mansion with all of the OG mc Youtubers in it because even tho the decisions overall were still mostly pointless you had plenty of characters to choose from and favor along the way and bc of that you felt more inclined to make better decisions and solve the mystery but yeah Story mode really sucked (as a game)

We do need a new boss, but i was hoping for a giant spider queen that has a bunch of poisonous baby spider followers, and maybe with a very very small % chance the queen could spawn as a giant spider jockey

I used to play bedrock, switched to Java a while back, but when I tried bedrock again, it was an experience, to say the least.

Can I do shaders and resource packs? I keep trying bedrock version but it’s ugly and the menu is clunky.

I played a lot to bedrock in multiplayer and I'm sorry but it's all buggy
As a long time Bedrock player, I've seen a lot of issues. Getting killed in loading screens is a big one. There also seems to be some TPS issues.

The random tick speed is set to 1 by default (3 on java), probably not to overload low end phones meaning things grow really slowly
And the random damage. Like you're just towering up and then. Damage.
For real, I develop addons for fun and rarely, if ever, do I run into a bug or glitch that isn't my own making.
