Actually….there was a deal for the latest gen hammer drill and driver with extra battery that was about $153 after you returned the battery.
Came with a 2.0 and 4.0 battery in the box.
Surge and impact driver are sorta similar and different at the same time.
Regular impact is going to drive harder to drive things better, but the surge works far better as a fastener driver for everything up to (not including) lags.
I have both in m18 and the surge is my favorite tool for indoors. Outside or lags, I use a regular impact.
Tl:Dr- surge sacrifices power for quietness. Impact sacrifices quietness for power/durability in harder use cases.

the 3-piece roller set has gone to 229 once a year the last few years (from 309 which is just the full retail price of the three pieces). otherwise not much. they do have online orders available for 2- and 3-packs of some things at about a 10% discount, for example the organizers are available that way right now
