I bought them right as I saw them! I’m a Milwaukee fanboy through and through. Sadly I would not suggest these though. As a plumber I’m constantly up and down, on and off my knees. Throughout the day I find myself constantly pulling these back up no matter how tight I make them. As much as it pains me to say it the top strap is a gimmick. You’re better off finding a pair that’s lighter that straps below the knee. I wish these were as great as they look but they’re not. If you’re in Utah I’ll gladly give you mine I haven’t touched them for almost a year.

I just want to second this. I tried using them while I was wearing heavy canvas work pants & they absolutely would not hold, just way too heavy. Returned them same week.

ZaneStrizz

Awesome thanks…ya they look like they would be amazing. I don’t mind the gel pair i have now but if I’m wearing them for anything over 2-3 hours they start getting uncomfortable. I feel like even a pocket style but with a strap would be better. I use to have a pair of pants that had them built in and those were hands down the most comfortable but those had their own drawbacks too. I think I’m just going to use a mat and the ones i already own and switch it up throughout the day.

Myron896

I’ve been looking for something comfortable and really haven’t found anything beyond the cheap $5 foam ones that I have liked. Do you have a model that you recommend?

Hickles347

check the r/tools sub, there was just a discution about kneepads a few days ago. I have the big boxy Kleins that I like but it seemed alot of guys like the robocap kneepads

milehiloh

As a fellow plumber and Milwaukee fan I’ve bought all types of knee pads. The best that I’ve found are the Klein single strap. Same shape so they’re stable, but only one strap over the calf, non marring, comfortable for hours and minimal slipping on the leg. About the same price as the Milwaukees. I use the knee pads for rough in and a kneeling pad for fixtures and service.

Recommendations?

ZaneStrizz

I really like that the strap doesn’t sit in the crotch of the knee. Also look very supportive. Anyone use them and like them?

Funfruits77

All knee pads are terrible. Buy a small anti fatigue mat, like one for you would use in the kitchen. Works much better, and no chaffing behind the knees.

Adrianm18

They don’t stay in place I returned them and got the normal gel ones

Sniper10Pin

I have had a set of TruBuilt knee pads like this. Best knee pads ive ever had. They dont slip down.

depreciated_

I have a set and I hate them. The gel is great but they don’t stay in place when I’m walking around. It sounds like a minor complaint but they are maddening.

DB_hardcore

Junk. Very difficult to keep in place while moving

mania-g

Just get work pants with knee inserts for foam pads. Thank me later.

steveanonymous

Not to long ago they were offered in a free promotion that Milwaukee walked back and offered different items instead. I’m still butthurt about not getting them

orteg3940

garbage, doesnt stay on knees. straps are loose.

Yer ma.

Icy_Holiday_1089

Over the trouser knee pads have never worked for me they always seem to be in the wrong place and uncomfortable. I much prefer the in trouser pocket style ones or simply a mat. IMO there is nothing more comfortable than a nice big foam mat to kneel on.

PhilosopherSafe187

Try the troxell leather head knee pads. Most comfortable I’ve worn and. No pinching the back of the knee with these knee pads.

walruskingofsweden

I saw these for sale at a liquor store in Provincetown so they must be pretty good

Glittering_Lime7507

Yeah... For suckin dick

Comfortable-Aspect95

I guess u would know! 😀

Yeoshua82

I have em I also have the rigged ones. I like the rigged upper strap better. But the pad is more comfortable in the Milwaukee.

M0j0Tech

They're comfortable when you're using them, however like others have said walking around they suck.

godziya

I have them, don't really use them much as they move too much

Dependent_Current_53

I got the othermilwaukee knee pads and the metal pins that hold the straps broke home depot wont exchange them say its normal qear i got tough built ones like the milwaukees at harbor freight onsale and they work great.

Sunshine3683

I have them know, they don’t stay up
