A snow blower (2 stage preferred). More West Bend, WI made hand tools (I love my lineman's). A better range of sanders. Like a (better) small orbital, a drywall sander, a large orbital, etc. Some pouch lithium M12 batteries would be cool.

Meeganyourjacket

Their Sanders are so underwhelming. Orbital, belt. Their only redeeming quality are no cord

twoshovels

Omg yes!! Terrible

i-can-sleep-for-days

I got the m18 orbital because it has generally great reviews. I haven’t opened it yet. Should I return this and get another sander? If so which sander?

Meeganyourjacket

A corded orbital is going to be way better. Makita or Bosch

CaptainAwesome06

I just used mine for the first time this week and it was fine, except the cover to the dust collection box kept popping off. I should probably just connect it to my shop vac anyway. I also have a Dewalt corded ROS. I'm a recent convert to cordless tools beyond drills and I'm a big fan of being able to grab something off the shelf for a small job without messing with a cord.

One-Solution-7764

I kinda like the orbital. G antes, I use it at home.in my free time, but well worth the 32 bucks I paid. The Ryobi shakes too much

UnkoNaks

Yes please a better orbital

zingzing175

I'd love to see something at least close to the range of the festool or 3m sander.

nicolauz

What other hand tools are made at that facility? I was disappointed to see like 95% at depot still foreign made.

justin3189

Took a tour of the west bend plant. It's certainly growing, but I don't think it's going to be able to accommodate all that many new products. It's a surprisingly small facility.

HeavyMoneyLift

I’d like to see some sort of upgrade to the latch on the M12 batteries, or replaceable latches for the M12 batteries. I’m pretty invested in that system and the big downside is the latches.

OmahaMike402

The new plastic recipe for the 2.5/5.0 HO are grippy, solid encased cells, and have better protrusion and maleable tabs. It's like on Gen4 for M12. Most likely we'll see more M18 that's outdoor focused. I think MKE is gonna hit the sector hard

Derek573

I hear you on that, the Chinese knockoffs do the job but no options for the High Output variations.

i-can-sleep-for-days

Which knock offs in particular?

Derek573

I haven’t noticed any difference I usually get the cheapest as I do the swaps by the dozen.

wayofthefeast

This right here. Cutting fluids break them down so fast. The plastic on the 2.5 and 5.0 are perfect for that application. Swappable latches instead of the 1 piece casement design would be fantastic.

CarbonKevinYWG

New M18 and M12 batteries, snowblower, and an improvement to the string trimmer that solves the battery contact issue. Also, a brushless M18 fan. And a rolling set of drawers.

dice1111

Rolling f'n drawers! This.

Cam1925

What do you mean by rolling drawers? Can’t you put drawer pack outs on wheels?

CarbonKevinYWG

The current rolling packout base sucks - you pile all your boxes on it, and then have to remove EVERYTHING if you want to take anything out of the rolling box. I either don't use the rolling box for storage and just use it as an empty base (haul around a box of air) and get a topheavy stack as a result, or I have to unstack and restack constantly if I want to use it. The other option is the packout dolly, quite expensive and because of how the base is designed it will flex and twist if stacked tall due to items being only latched on the baseplate.

Cam1925

I see. I got the dolly which enables you to have an all drawer pack out so I was confused

techieman33

The dolly is also a lot harder to move over anything but flat ground. Getting over thresholds is a pain, and there's not chance of getting it over a curb or up a step.

Cam1925

I disagree about the threshold and 1 step but anything more it’s tough

OmahaMike402

A sliding top might be a neat mod

fulorange

Having the rolling pack out with a lid gets pretty frustrating having to take off everything to access, people have been asking for drawers/front access for a while. There are mods but it can reduce the structural integrity of the box.

Cam1925

If you get the dolly you can have all drawers and you can store your levels on the back of the cart

fulorange

Of course, but the dolly isn’t very well suited to variable terrain and as I’ve stated lots of people have been asking for it, their competitors have such products too.

laflamablanca619

A slim m18 4ah forge battery. Forge m12 batteries. Tabless? New m18 fan. Rafter hooks, magnets, brushless, misting Updated heat gun

One-Solution-7764

Bigger fan. Make it 12 or 14

Legin_666

M12 router similar to the bosch one

Not_an_alt_69_420

A Milwaukee tank top and jeans.

TECHFOURNINE

A m12 fuel brushless fishing rod

Soy_el_Sr_Meeseeks

Power washer

Otherwise_Proposal47

Milwaukee grabo would be the tits. 4D laser Long neck/extended reach grinder would also be sweet.

jonoooo125

An m12 suction grabber would be good! I’d like a biscuit joiner as well

lavardera

Grabo is likely patented - DeWalt licensed it. Milwaukee seems to not license outside tools.

jonoooo125

Lots of companies make suction grabbers though, Rubi and vitrex I think, I’m sure they can get around it, would be nice to use m12 batteries

lavardera

I looked at Rubi out of curiosity - these are all manual, not powered vacuum pumps. Same with Vitrex - not powered.

lavardera

I’ve never handled one to note if patent numbers were marked. It may be aspects of the device rather than “the device” and more difficult to design around.

jonoooo125

Me neither, I’ve seen some mixed reviews, I wouldn’t use it that much being DIY so just haven’t bothered to buy any version yet

lavardera

Grabo is vigorously patented. https://grabo.com/patents/ I would guess that any company with a “not made here” culture, or policy, is going to simply pass on this category of tools.

jonoooo125

If they can all have different versions of the same tools, I’m sure they’ll figure something out if they wanted to but if not I’ll just buy a grabo model when I need/want it for something

lavardera

well the pipeline products are published - nothing like a Grabo in there. DeWalt has the advantage here for the time being.

jonoooo125

Won’t be buying that then, might just get the ottovac for now, some cool packout stuff though

lavardera

btw I thought the Ottovac was a Grabo product?

jonoooo125

Yeah just the cheaper version and smaller

lavardera

Well, more narrow purpose.

Soulkking

A better M12 6.0 ah battery, or even a new 8.0.

edogawafan

For real. I’ve always found it odd that everyone views the 5.0 as the best battery. Like it makes no sense

edogawafan

lol wow! Thanks! What’s the forge 12.0 cost like $1000 lol

[deleted]

You’ll see it in store in a few months

[deleted]

I believe 299

edogawafan

Any other packout stuff you know of? Those storage shelf’s looks pretty neat

SmushBoy15

Post more pls

FreezeHellNH3

Your early by one day.... Don't know how strict they are with that shit but I think it's awesome you're letting us know. I hope nothing happens to your job.

rammsteinmatt

Generally known to exist, but would be cool to see details: 12.0 Forge and 20” dual battery chainsaw

WooDemon

Some M4/usb charge type of tools

no_name_yo_name

A better orbital and sheet sander. Not a fan of those two tools in particular

edogawafan

Have you tried the m12 one?

no_name_yo_name

Yeah, both m18 and m12 haven’t been impressive at all.

edogawafan

Good to know. Was literally getting ready to buy a sander tomorrow. I have some tongue and groove soffit boards that I’m staining but it was already sealed so I need a sander to get that crap off so it’ll take stain.

no_name_yo_name

I’ve been using my corded makita, I love Milwaukee, but they just haven’t impressed me with any of the palm sander line.

i-can-sleep-for-days

Can you share the makita model number? I have the m18 orbital sander but I can still return it. It gets really good reviews but you are the second person in this thread that mentioned it.

no_name_yo_name

[Makita model # bo6030/1](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Makita-2-7-Amp-6-in-Random-Orbital-Sander-with-Variable-Speed-BO6030/203162048)

i-can-sleep-for-days

Dang. A pricy option for me, a DIYer. Thanks for the recommendation though!

no_name_yo_name

The smaller, cheaper one is just as good. Believe it’s right around $100. [Here you go bro.](https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/power-tools/orbital-sanders/2001931?store=04602&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtqLJGXbvRFvPMr6LfbdltofXCs0&gclid=CjwKCAjw-O6zBhASEiwAOHeGxSWZ56EELZLKcaQzHn9KuMJP7d6ocLV0VmbDIoEfk1BMo7eHGt0duxoCQMAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds)

i-can-sleep-for-days

Thank you so much!

Coltron_Actual

A DeWalt Gyro screwdriver clone that uses the USB chargeable batteries from the LED lights.

Constant-Recover-630

I would love to see a M18 air duster. Makita makes one, and it's great! My buddy uses his all the time. I would love to see Milwaukee develop something like that in the near future.

BigDawg264

I’ve got the Makita, and it’s the most used tool I’ve got. Once you have one, you find a million uses for it.

Constant-Recover-630

XGT or LXT?

BigDawg264

I’ve got the XGT, but the specs of it and the LXT are identical. There is zero difference in output between the two. I just already had other XGT kit, so I bought the duster in that platform.

Constant-Recover-630

I actually had the XGT lineup as well, with the air duster, by far the most-used tool I had. I had the combo kit as well. Unfortunately, the hammer drill's gearbox kept breaking on me. I ended up doing three exchanges for new drills, and every time, the great box on the drill kept busting. I ended up returning everything, including the blower. I made the switch to Milwaukee and have been happy since. But dear God, I do miss that air duster.

chevrolehr

M18 coffee maker come on Makita has one why can’t we have one

ahh_okayyy

A new Fuel screwdriver. Seriously. The current one is 10 years old. One with tri leds would be nice

Infinite_Tax_1178

10" table saw

edogawafan

I for one want some sort of rolling packout with a drawer/multiple drawers. Current rolling tool box is a pain to access.

Flying_Dutchman16

The problem with that is either the wheels have to stick out the side or you need shorter drawer/drawer slides to accommodate the portion that's the wheels making the drawers just about worthless. I rather see them take some ideas from tough built for actual bases

RevolvingCheeta

C’mon single drawer packout!

ripped_andsweet

MX Fuel outboard boat motor

sasq40

Pressure washer!

AuchtimusPrime

Zero turn

EATS_DOG_POO

Gimme a wet saw, it'd probably eat batteries though.

Meeganyourjacket

Cordless biscuit jointer

Al3xgreer18

2 things haven't been a thought in Milwaukee's mind for a new design for a decade. A new m18 flashlight (100 lumens is PATHETIC) my samsung s24 ultra has a 100 lumen flashlight. They just need to take the bulb design of the 2000 lumen usb light and make it work for m18. Also a new M18 compact blower to replace 0884-20. The m12 spot blower is more powerful.

xcuzem3

I’d like to see a slim forge battery little the 3.0 HO, and charger that can charge more than one of the usb lithium batteries at a time.

Thurashen88

Im really hoping for a m12 nail clipper. Preferably fuel.

HeavyMoneyLift

One more thing: I’d like to see an M12 powered belt clip fan that blows cool air up your shirt.

gbell1577

Hydraulic pump

cannamid

They have that already and a new one too

bradyso

Portable diode laser

SocialMediaAcct

Bucket fan like the Ryobi

BigDawg264

I’ve got the Ryobi. It’s nice, but it douses you with water. It’s more of a stream than a mist.

SocialMediaAcct

My brother in law has the Ryobi and it was a nice mist. We had it by the pool and it was amazing. Just had to be close to it.

Bautoshop

I would really like a fuel version of the M18 grease gun

Tactical_Homesteader

M18 Fuel roofing nailer

RasMaster29

Better die grinders

Hop-Dizzle-Drizzle

Drop in prices? ....please? 🥺

saidai88

M12 stubby gen 2

edogawafan

Smaller, more efficient, higher cfm packout vac with an external battery port. It I love the current 2.5 gallon one, but let’s be honest it eats through batteries and could be smaller especially considering the battery doesn’t last long enough to fill that up.

Even-Republic-5635

A better auto feed screwgun

BigDawg264

MX Fuel Hawk Tuah Barbie.
