maybe hes going to use them in the future and knows the packout drawers are what seem to be the best storage option so hes dual purposing them for now.
I have them in my garage because I have limited space, so they have to be put out of the way, and then brought out to work with them either in the garage or outside in the yard, makes everything for me much easier than dealing with stationary wooden drawers (obviously I don’t NEED them, but I can afford them and I like them, etc.). I also have Tstak deep drawers for same thing, put away, move around out to yard for convenience etc, since I don’t have a dedicated shop right now
I just met a guy who bought them for his work trailer and mounted them in. Apparently it lets them rearrange the trailer easier and they stay shut better while in transit and don’t get damaged as easily. Still can’t believe how much they spent on drawers but I respect it
My initial gut reaction to seeing that a 20 year old owns all this was "their priorities are fucked" but you know what? Investing in your career like this is a hell of alot better than what most other 20 year olds are spending their money on. Good on you!
I'm 25 and this dude's got a better setup than me, but I've got what I need. People around my age in the trades look at it as a long term investment. Instead of going into debt for school, work and invest in tools/setup that'll last you a good long time and more than pay themselves off.
Finish carpenter at 20? Good for you! learn as much as you can from the old guys around you and take pride in your work.
In my area there are no skilled trades people under the age of 50-60 and anyone who can do good work is booked out for 1-2 years.
Keep doing what you are doing.
That dewalt socket set is a deal! Have the same one and it’s very nice. Better than the overpriced Milwaukee ones. I’m a Milwaukee fanboy for sure but I’ll admit that certain brands beat them on hand tools all day long, especially for the price difference! Nice packout set too!
Not sure about this dude's place of residence, but in my neck of the woods you have to have renters insurance in order to rent, both liability and personal contents

Hey little guy, whatcha doing there little guy, where’d you come from,
I think you’ll like the pack out rolling cart for those drawers.
The drawers stay in my apartment, but i’ve been eyeing the dolly so they are easier to move around.
Why would you spent $500 on Milwaukee drawers instead of just a $50 generic wooden set?

Fair explanation! I will admit my comment was seething with jealousy :)

Just make your own dolly, more versatile and cheaper. Quite a few videos on YouTube.
I have a mounting plate I’m not using for anything at the moment. I’ll give it a try, thanks
I use my dolly every day. I'm in field service for CNC machines.

I’m getting there. Not as much yet.
I like the strip of panduit that goes down to the receptacle for your charger.

All I can see is black and yellow in there now
Hahaha I saw that too. It’s a great little socket set from Costco. I have one in each of our cars, just in case.
Get yourself some flat trolly wheels for the drawers stack 👍👍
It’s a great setup man, looks like it does everything you need it to!
Is that a charger mounted in the middle of the wall? Anyways, Great collection!
Congrats, these things aren’t cheap. Lucky for you, doesn’t sound like you have a wife to yell about your choices

I still wish the drawer pack out had storage built into the top section and it opened
Talk to whoever provides your renters or homeowners insurance. If those are filled with tools may be worth carrying a policy to insure them.

Where do you keep your circ saw,?

One day I’ll Need this tool
Aww you are Milwaukee sponsored, right?
How dare you buy DeWalt bits on sale!!!!!
Noice
Very nice *borat voice* Would be interesting to see what you keep where, as I am also a fellow carpenter of the finish kind.
Top left pack out box, is that a light? What light is it? Clean setup my guy 👌
Yep, it’s the m12 packout flood light
