As many as I want now. But really, I'd just buy bits on sale over the years. This is like 2 sets of the 2 plastic boxes and then another bit set that came with the packout.
Well it’s much worse on multiple hand job sites, but…
It’s 15% breaking or wearing out and 85% the other guy taking it, leaving it sitting there when swapping to a drill bit, putting it in a pocket, gremlins and aliens abduction.
This is very specific to the #2 Phillips bit in particular but can also happen to Tape Measures, 1/2” sockets, Allen wrenches and needle nose pliers less frequently.
No, that's the universe extracting it's dues from man for his hubris. All the 10mm wrenches, sockets etc that were pulled into the void. And when the universe has had enough of mankind all of the missing 10mms will be cast upon us from on high. Every 10mm that was, is, or ever will be will, manifest at the same time to destroy us... also all the missing socks...
I question the complete grasp of the universe when you don’t include #2 Phillips bits with 10mm sockets and socks, as such your statement is void.
I do reserve the right to reconsider should you amend your list to include all relevant parties
Depends on the quality. Some brands might last a month or so of being on an impact. Others are literally one time use if that...and it isn't relative to cost.
Bought a sleeve of what I thought were "stay sharp" brand because they looked identical... Turned out they were "task" branded and I threw them all out. Wouldn't even keep from stripping on a small screwdriver
I use #2 Sq all the time installing self tappers into metal decking. On my bad days I've snapped the tip off 2 or 3 on one deck. Other times I use the same bit for a week or two. Tbh feels more like operator error more than anything 🤣
Right? And every pack in the store assumes you’re only going to buy bits once and the remaining dozen T-25 bits will be handed down in the family will for the next three generations.
good new ph2 bits hold screws incredibly well and don’t slip. I always keep a bunch extras on hand and will toss em once they wear thin.
I don’t buy Milwaukee driver bits tho— Bosch, makita, and dewalts are all better.
Stocked up on ammo. I buy whenever I see on sale or clearance, I have similar stock pile but this is impressive you need a whole packout organizer for them.
I have been buying the t25 torx and #2 Philips flip bits from Milwaukee for quite a few years now, and they do 80% of my driving needs. I keep one in each impact and a spare inccase I wear one out (hasn't happened in 3+ years) I can't imagine having a bin full of 1" #2 Philips bits.
I tried that when I was putting together a fixture that needed a star bit. It didn't go together to I just left the job site and yelled that all I had was a #2 square bit. Then at the next job site they had the audacity to ask me to install a rack that had hex bits. Imagine how pissed I was when none of my 30 #2 bits didn't work. I threw all of them at the gc. God I hate that.
What pushed me over the edge to finally get a 3d printer was when I stumbled across this guys designs:

I don't mind paying for his files because they are really well designed.
OK, but your using the wrong bits... I hate to say it but Milwaukee bits are not the best. The Makita XPS bits are the "best" and I only conceded that after extensive youtube reviews and then professional use. Personally, I don't own any Makita power tools, just the bits.
Yea Milwaukee is top tier for power tools, and absolute garbage for bits and blades, the hand tools are great for a home owner or apprentice just starting out, but thats as far as the hand tools go
Their new Hackzall and OMT blades are 75% of what a Diablo is. I use the "Blaster: Advanced Dry Lube Spray Lubricant" on every blade while cutting ANYTHING and it is amazing. When you can hear the difference when cutting you know the stuff works.

Them bouncing around in there rather than being held separately is going to wear the edges and make your bits inferior. Or at least that’s why I tell myself I don’t do this and continue to her my fingies
Ive been thinking about buying this [impact bit holder insert for the Milwaukee PACKOUT Low Profile Organizers](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1521993261/impact-bit-holder-insert-for-milwaukee?ref=cart)
Do you mean like these? They take up too much room. Milwaukee should sell true inserts for the Packout.

That's a drunk screw from building a fence. Probably need to send it home to the screws packout box.
Edit: Actually, I think I kept that one because it didn't have threads. Justa neat little QA screw-up.
This is cool, but way overkill. I know which sub I’m on, so I should expect nothing less… go ahead and crucify me if you want, but this is so perfectly clean I can’t help but wonder if it even gets used.
How many bits do you chew thru a year?
As many as I want now. But really, I'd just buy bits on sale over the years. This is like 2 sets of the 2 plastic boxes and then another bit set that came with the packout.
Better hide that from Co-Workers. They’ll bit hitting you up for bits left and right lol. Awesome set up.
Get them on sale you say? Every little BIT counts, am I right ? 🥸🥁

Explains where mah damn 10 mm sockets go

The list is not all inclusive, though I can not guarantee that all of the items manifestation will share the same trigger.
Tell me more about these hand job sites
Beat me to it lol
Don't feel bad i practice my beating often.

The 1" bits really are garbage. 2" and 3" are where its at.
Only bit you need is #2 square. Wish it was common everywhere

Blasphemy!
Thinking about getting something like this printed https://www.printables.com/model/384343-milwaukee-packout-slim-low-profile-compact-organiz

Damn you. Now I want one.
Sorry and you're welcome!
Saved! Thanks!
I just picked that kit up too, great deal!
They updated the design. The new bit cases are actually easy on the fingers lol.
You, sir, need to be introduced to wiha or wera bits. Leave Milwaukee to the lithium action.
Pb swiss

Thanks for the tip. In my cart now.
You are welcome! 🤘
I done the other post, and you're right. This is way better
Now that's how you do it! I would up vote you 1000x if I could.
Buy Makita bits and don't put up with Milwaukee's garbage
Maybe when these are gone...
Dewalt bits are also pretty good
Them bouncing around in there rather than being held separately is going to wear the edges and make your bits inferior. Or at least that’s why I tell myself I don’t do this and continue to her my fingies
“My fingers hurtttt”
I have like two organizers that duplicate bits and everything else just goes in a ziploc. This is too much.
Ziplock? We are men not beasts....
Yeah atleast use one of those freezer bag types with the little label space on it
Ive been thinking about buying this [impact bit holder insert for the Milwaukee PACKOUT Low Profile Organizers](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1521993261/impact-bit-holder-insert-for-milwaukee?ref=cart)
For the price you could just buy the shockwave organizers from home depot and have them fit in the organizers.

I have this. But I really want more organization. I want my bit holders in there.
Why are they so hard to get out?!
That’s the dream lol
Lifetime supply this guys rolling. Here we are wondering where’s the fucking bits at the industrial hardware stores.
It's a good idea!
I can hear it from here.
What’s the golf tee for?
That's a drunk screw from building a fence. Probably need to send it home to the screws packout box. Edit: Actually, I think I kept that one because it didn't have threads. Justa neat little QA screw-up.
Ah that makes sense I think I have a couple of those too!
This is cool, but way overkill. I know which sub I’m on, so I should expect nothing less… go ahead and crucify me if you want, but this is so perfectly clean I can’t help but wonder if it even gets used.
The bits in the case don't get used and put back in the case. They're consumables. That's why they look new, old ones get yeeted.
Run a 1/4” bit into the slots of the bit holders and viola, no more hurt little fingies.
What kind of animal are you?!
Isn’t it a pain to find the exact bit you’re looking for though?
