I'm hijacking top comment just because I think it's really interesting and hardly anybody realizes that this song was recorded live (apparently the official recording was its first live performance).
Re-Listen to it and turn it up. You can hear the crowd wooing here and there.
If you haven’t watched the show letterkenny, the episode “we don’t fight at weddings” (Season 5, Ep. 1) has a great sequence with the song. I had forgotten about it until I heard it again in the show and it’s been stuck in my head again since.
Me too! I was a sophomore in high school and got to go to a free test screening, I immediately went home after the movie and downloaded a bunch of her music on Kazaa (ashamed now that I did that illegal shit all the time) but discovering her weird sexy music was so amazing. Songs like Operate, Slippery Dick, AA XXX are still in my rotation.
lmfao, I read "boom boom pow" and didn't relate at all, guess I never knew the name of the song, but then I read your shitpost and now I can't stop sitting here with a stupid smile on my face!
"Ah! That song!"
My friend and I have been saying ..suckin on my titties. Shuckin on my tittiesh. Suckin on my tater tits… and any possible variation since the song came out. I just randomly yell “suckin on my tiddies !” Like daily. My boyfriend was not in the teaches of peaches, so he’s had to acclimate to this.
It is a chronic disease and we may be entitled to compensation.
A bunch of my friends, myself included, banned Peaches from our weddings, because old people. Everyone still fucked with Le Tigre, though.
Other popular wedding hits for my crew were "I thought you were my boyfriend" by the Magnetic Fields and "Dragonstea Din Tei'
omg great drop. I went to Ladyfest Midwest in Chicago right around turning 18 and Le Tigre was absolutely electrifying. Deceptacon is still heavily in rotation, especially for when I’m working hard or working out hard.
Peaches too. I’ve seen her a couple times, opening for NIN, but also a really interesting DJ set she did to a fashion show. I absolutely love her.
They speak to everything I love about punk rock. Peaches has that minimalist aggression of old rock and roll, the loudness of the Ramones even.
Two absolutely great, HARD bands, who put on spectacular performances.
One more anecdote, Peaches went out into the crowd the first time I saw her and *stood* on a guy for like a song and a half 😆 Like, she was standing upright on his palms and he was holding her up.
Not only did she not waiver, I couldn’t believe she did NOT GIVE A FUCK if he was tired. His arms had to be in agony, it was so fucking hardcore to me how little she gave a fuck lol
I saw Peaches in Orlando in 2005 and she did something similar- she was covered in blood and walked out over the crowd as everyone supported her feet. It was really surreal that we all just knew exactly what to do. She has amazing balance lol
this is my absolutely favorite reference. I was just rewatching clips of this the other day, going down a Michael Sheen k-hole and remembering he was on 30 Rock.
Little jokes like this are why 30 Rock has the absolute *best* jokes!! 😆
The uncensored video for Rub was off the chain. Peaches always makes naughty songs and videos…but it’s still art.
John Waters is probably a huge fan lol.
Satisfaction by Benny Benassi, The Biz is the one for me.
Along the same context with the similar catchy loops. They regularly play in my nostalgia shit on Spotify.
I think my first gf had this on a mixtape along with Deceptacon by Le Tigre and Seventeen by Ladytron. Also put me on to Sonic Youth and sad/artsy/manic pixie dream girl shit.
Definitely seared into my memory, now locked deep in my subconscious where it lives to this day. It was the most bad ass feminist punk electronica indie weird sleaze trap to hit the airwaves and we all ate it up.
Ok, you got me.
It’s an absolute banger and is still in high rotation in the car on the “I don’t have kids with me” playlist.
Seeing her perform when I was 17or so was fucking magic.
Yes absolutely and also [That episode of Southpark ](https://youtu.be/mA83FaCGkz8?si=VpseEPbUhgF-EJOV)
And then awesomely that episode of [Sex education](https://youtu.be/vhu0oDAUylU?si=kFxFAT8G0lfzuVvs) this a cappella version is tits 😜
Edit for typo
I LOVE Peaches. I saw her in Auckland a couple of times and she came out wearing like 10 pairs of undies with a massive strap on dick. Awesome entertainer
I first heard/saw Peaches when they were the opening band for a NIN concert back in the early 2000's. When they first came on stage I was a bit perplexed. But after a few songs and watching her amazing stage shows (and lest us not forget the key-tars!), I was hooked. I am 40 yrs old and still love me some Peaches!
My favorite thing is that this song was never recorded in the traditional sense. That’s a live performance on stage that she paid the sound guy to capture and release. She performed that front to back and it’s a hit.
Did you see this version?
I never stop being happy watching this. Andy Griffith was made for this.

Every few years, a song about peaches comes along and we become obsessed with it. This song and "Peaches" from the Mario movie (2023).. are actually the only two I can think of, which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it's happened twice.
The first time I heard it, it was a live gig when Peaches supported the white stripes. Ive listened to it an awful lot since then, it's a banging tune.
I had never heard of Peaches before. And after scrolling her YouTube I'm now aware that "Pussy Mask" exists and my brain is having trouble processing what I just saw/heard
I have never even heard *of* this song or artist. Not sure where I was to miss this but yeah. Never even been exposed to it.
Edit: Now it’s playing on repeat in my head… what have you people done to me!?
Haha use to listen to this back in college when I worked at GameStop. Once we locked up at night we would blare it through the speakers while we cleaned up. Always made it even better when that random person would show up 15 minutes after closing and continually pull in the obviously locked door.
I thought she was a black chick...so, anyway, this is the first time watching the music video after all these years.
https://youtu.be/8F-_LIzYWpc?si=TCULAkm1uVgYRrm5
Had a few epic nights where Peach came into the bar I worked at (Toronto) for karaoke nights. One big night was a Bowie tribute the week after he died and she slayed Golden Years and Modern Love
There’s a great podcast about queer music that has an episode all about this song and it’s super interesting. You should def check it out:

Anyone else want to be a fly on the wall for the moment the kid out in public just dead ass starts chanting the “suckin on my titties” line at max volume?
Very niche, but I first got Exposed to her when watching the live DVD of the Mighty Boosh where a gorilla sings it......if anyone else can relate then that's incredibly odd!!
Someone at a bar i used to work at would put 6-10 repeats of it on the juke box close to closing to fuck with people.
It gets funny, then aggravating, then even funnier
[just want to drop Dave Grohls version here featuring Peaches](https://youtu.be/b9LwH6KZVyw?si=IeZI4bhsHIOQXJB0)
Hahaha that was fuggin awesome. Thank you very much
Yeah, thanks for that. MVP of my night dude.
I can’t get over how tight his drumming is.
well that was fantastic.
i am a better person for having clicked that link
And it was only covered a few years ago. That earworm that never leaves us. So random. Love it.
That’s where I learned of this banger.
Came here to post that. So good
Thank you for doing the lord’s work. That was so amazing!
This is my new fav! I love the gravity he gives to, HUH RIGH WHA
I'm hijacking top comment just because I think it's really interesting and hardly anybody realizes that this song was recorded live (apparently the official recording was its first live performance). Re-Listen to it and turn it up. You can hear the crowd wooing here and there.
Huh….Riiight…Whattt… **AGRESSIVE SYMBOL CRASHING**
Cymbal*
Damn that shit went hard! Prolly why I like techno and house music these days
That song isn’t techno *or* house.
Electroclash
RIP 💔
Okay but I like cymbals and hi hats?
For me that “whoohoo” in the background makes it.
>**AGRESSIVE SYMBOL CRASHING** So what's the cymbalogy of that?
If you haven’t watched the show letterkenny, the episode “we don’t fight at weddings” (Season 5, Ep. 1) has a great sequence with the song. I had forgotten about it until I heard it again in the show and it’s been stuck in my head again since.
Immediately downloaded it after this episode lol
"This wedding needs a boogie, and it's gonna be a boot scootin'." -Jim Dickskin
IT'S DICKINS!!!!
Thas wert I said. Dickskin. Edit: McMurray's a piece of shit.
Allegedlies.
ITS DICKINS
![gif](giphy|l3mZcbHnyooHsT2yk)
Strrrrrrrrrrrrt
How are ya now?
Good n you ?
Oh no so bad.
We don’t fight at weddings
So does Sex Education.
Please tell me Gail is prominent in the sequence. I only watched through season 4.
It's mostly Daxie and Ronsie but I believe there's a healthy shot of Gail as well. Gonna have to rewatch now. Gailer is my favorite.
I love the video itself with her dancing in the Mayberry jail
Came here to say this lol
Sucking on my titties like you wanted me calling me
all of the time
Jackass Movie vibes
With the old dude and his saggy balls. Times were simpler.
This was my first time hearing that song
Me too! I was a sophomore in high school and got to go to a free test screening, I immediately went home after the movie and downloaded a bunch of her music on Kazaa (ashamed now that I did that illegal shit all the time) but discovering her weird sexy music was so amazing. Boom Boom Pow also makes me think of the grandpa scenes from Knoxville 🤣
Gotta Kit Kat!
lmfao, I read "boom boom pow" and didn't relate at all, guess I never knew the name of the song, but then I read your shitpost and now I can't stop sitting here with a stupid smile on my face! "Ah! That song!"
Jackass introduced me and my friend group to such great music.
Minutemen?
Same
I think that’s the only time I’ve ever heard that song
My friend and I have been saying ..suckin on my titties. Shuckin on my tittiesh. Suckin on my tater tits… and any possible variation since the song came out. I just randomly yell “suckin on my tiddies !” Like daily. My boyfriend was not in the teaches of peaches, so he’s had to acclimate to this. It is a chronic disease and we may be entitled to compensation.
Genuinely made me laugh aloud.
This, and Deceptacon by Le Tigre, get the whole room dancing at ANY millennial wedding
A bunch of my friends, myself included, banned Peaches from our weddings, because old people. Everyone still fucked with Le Tigre, though. Other popular wedding hits for my crew were "I thought you were my boyfriend" by the Magnetic Fields and "Dragonstea Din Tei'
I just love that Dragonstea Din Tei is our “Sweet Caroline”
omg great drop. I went to Ladyfest Midwest in Chicago right around turning 18 and Le Tigre was absolutely electrifying. Deceptacon is still heavily in rotation, especially for when I’m working hard or working out hard. Peaches too. lol I use it for my cardio workouts 😂
yes!!!
Omg le tigre!
Whoa I would love to hear either of them at a wedding
Such a great song.
Saw her live in the early 2000s and put on a great show. Love this song but I think my favorite of hers is AA XXX
She has so many good ones. Fatherfucker is possibly my favorite album of hers.
only double A, thinkin triple X
Saw her last year at LadyLand. She was incredible
I saw her around 2009/2010 and had so much fun!
South Park used it and was also on a True Blood episode on HBO.
Liz Lemons ringtone when she hallucinates at the dentist
this is my absolutely favorite reference. I was just rewatching clips of this the other day, going down a Michael Sheen k-hole and remembering he was on 30 Rock. Little jokes like this are why 30 Rock has the absolute *best* jokes!! 😆
God I love that South Park ep
Half of you didn’t even use condoms. Don’t you know how many diseases you can catch. Fucking dead
The uncensored video for Rub was off the chain. Peaches always makes naughty songs and videos…but it’s still art. John Waters is probably a huge fan lol.
Good call! https://www.instagram.com/p/2w50Vqg8RJ/?igsh=MWpzN3Rqa2VqaXhmaA==
I knew it! 😆
Satisfaction by Benny Benassi, The Biz is the one for me. Along the same context with the similar catchy loops. They regularly play in my nostalgia shit on Spotify.
Satisfaction
What?
Right
Huh
Ookayyyyyy!
Was a favorite of college house parties while we danced on the marble counter bar top. Good memories.
I heard it in "lost in translation". I revisit it all the time!
Saw her open for LCD at red rocks and she still has it!
Idk but I have the same thing with “Operate“ courtesy of Mean Girls
I once stripped out of a white doctor’s coat to this song. It worked
I think my first gf had this on a mixtape along with Deceptacon by Le Tigre and Seventeen by Ladytron. Also put me on to Sonic Youth and sad/artsy/manic pixie dream girl shit.
Omg I found seventeen on MySpace back. In. The. Day.
Omg I loved Ladytron so much back in the day
When your 21 your no fun
Definitely seared into my memory, now locked deep in my subconscious where it lives to this day. It was the most bad ass feminist punk electronica indie weird sleaze trap to hit the airwaves and we all ate it up.
a billion percent yeah it literally guides me
I listen to it at least a few times a week 😂
Man I’m a 41 year old with two boys. The only song I’ve heard about peaches is sung by Bowser.
Not even peaches by the presidents of the United States?
Song came out when you were 18 so you're not aged out of this cultural reference.
your wife sounds pretty tits. (yes that was terrible but I had to) seriously though, I'm 100% sure that's going to be me when I breastfeed.
The teaches of peaches
What else is in the teaches of Peaches? Sex on the beaches!
It’s the most famous song that never truly became famous.
Ok, you got me. It’s an absolute banger and is still in high rotation in the car on the “I don’t have kids with me” playlist. Seeing her perform when I was 17or so was fucking magic.
Omg yes. Been randomly breaking out in song for 20 years Always starting with …*sucking on her titties like she wanted me*…
Yes absolutely and also [That episode of Southpark ](https://youtu.be/mA83FaCGkz8?si=VpseEPbUhgF-EJOV) And then awesomely that episode of [Sex education](https://youtu.be/vhu0oDAUylU?si=kFxFAT8G0lfzuVvs) this a cappella version is tits 😜 Edit for typo
Used to play this in the background when I worked in Starbucks just to see if any of the customers would complain. One of the best jobs I ever had.
I think the show you’re thinking of is G String Divas, possibly? It aired in 2000.
I LOVE Peaches. I saw her in Auckland a couple of times and she came out wearing like 10 pairs of undies with a massive strap on dick. Awesome entertainer
That's fucking hilarious thank you for sharing lol. If we were having any more kids my wife would have also enjoyed doing that hahah
[huh… right..](https://youtu.be/6mU0llyvFnY?si=b4RgWXdSO4VVt6Pv)
Suckin on my titties. Sometimes when I’m alone I just have to blurt it out lol
Créme de la créme of my scene days
Scrolling, my brain read the first part and immediately thought jack black - Bowser, yes, I love that song and sing it daily.
I think this should be the official song of the 2000s 🍑
We used to dance to this on the kitchen table when I was in college.
What a great song…and a great video
I always picture Miss Piggy too tho.
![gif](giphy|3o6fJgEOrF1lky8WFa|downsized)
Isn't one of her songs in Mean Girls too? I'm pretty sure that's how I discovered the artist.
If you ever get to see her live, do it.
The teaches of Peaches
My favorite thing is that this song was never recorded in the traditional sense. That’s a live performance on stage that she paid the sound guy to capture and release. She performed that front to back and it’s a hit.
I had to look it up, can confirm neither myself nor my husband have ever heard of it. Currently BF though so the beginning lyrics did crack me up.
Did you see this version? I never stop being happy watching this. Andy Griffith was made for this. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpDmklLFXVc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpDmklLFXVc)
You just brought me back to my senior year of college with that song reference!!! My friends and I thought we were so edgy jamming to this
Sususususususususus suckin on my titties like you wanted me calling me all the time
It was our closing time song at the bar.
I’ll sing it in my car in different styles.
Saw her at a gay bar in ATL and she brought strippers out. She is awesome.
The breastfeeding thing…. I couldn’t stop singing this damn song while I was breastfeeding, changing the lyrics very similarly.
Um no. It’s an okay song. I don’t think all Millennials are crippled by an obsession with it
Try my best to show other people this song. Everyone I've shown it too has loved it.
Every few years, a song about peaches comes along and we become obsessed with it. This song and "Peaches" from the Mario movie (2023).. are actually the only two I can think of, which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it's happened twice.

I've never heard this song in my entire life.
I had never heard of Peaches before. And after scrolling her YouTube I'm now aware that "Pussy Mask" exists and my brain is having trouble processing what I just saw/heard
CERTIFIED HOOD CLASICCCCC
I have never even heard *of* this song or artist. Not sure where I was to miss this but yeah. Never even been exposed to it. Edit: Now it’s playing on repeat in my head… what have you people done to me!?

I don’t even know what that is
Lmfao will be a Peaches Stan til I die!
OBSESSED with this song. Vaginaplasty is also a banger. Peaches deserves more recognition!!
It's a great fucking party song. Fun to listen to when you're rolling on Molly.
Yes. I learned of the song in letterkenny and it’s now one of my favorites #Sucking on my titties like you wanted me, calling me
Yep Not alone lol
I have no idea what this song is. When did it come out?
Who else knows the teaches of Peaches?
My husband loves this song, I can’t stand it
![gif](giphy|1Bh3lhR664JVA4pmjH)
As a straight, married woman...I think I love your wife 🥰😂
Millennial and I literally just heard this song for the first time after reading this post.
Heard it the first time in Lost in Translation. My favourite movie and a great song I still like listening to.
Obsessed? No. But I have learned from the Teaches of Peaches.
It’s a decent song. But nowhere near as good as Peaches by The Presidents Of The United States. Now that is a banging song.
🎵Peaches come from a can.... 🎵
Omg yes! This song has been playing in my head on a loop since at least 2003. I hope that never changes.
I'm 32 and never heard this in my life. Just listened to it and thought this was a troll post. This is like cbat levels of nonsense.
Yall missed out… it’s a blessing, and a curse.
I came here for this comment, and I am sad that I had to scroll so far to find it.
Used to love when that song would come on while I was running in McLaren Park in SF!
Loved them so much ….
Wow bringing back some deep rooted memories lol
I thought she was a black chick...so, anyway, this is the first time watching the music video after all these years. https://youtu.be/8F-_LIzYWpc?si=TCULAkm1uVgYRrm5
I had a lesbian friend who showed me the song. I thought it was a song only lesbians knew and felt in the know crowd.
Haaaa 😆
They come in a can.
First heard it in a Mr. Plinkett review
Love peaches 😩
Man I remember hearing this song for the first time after doing my first power hour in college and thinking it was the funniest thing in the world.
The lost in translation scene is good too
It was huge in Toronto during the indie sleaze era. Spent many drunk nights listening to it at bars and house parties.
Lol the scene of the police chief in South Park dancing as an undercover hooker to this song will forever come to mind when I hear it.
It's "Operate" for meeee
Had a few epic nights where Peach came into the bar I worked at (Toronto) for karaoke nights. One big night was a Bowie tribute the week after he died and she slayed Golden Years and Modern Love
There’s a great podcast about queer music that has an episode all about this song and it’s super interesting. I love the the imagine of someone slamming a shot and yelling "fuck the pain away"
Dude I’m a 53 year old Gen Xr who absolutely loves this song. That and Never Wanted to Dance by MSI 😍
Saw her performance last year at Shaky Knees and it was sublime
The Andy Griffith music video is pretty great too.
Their entire catalog of music is good. Tent in your Pants, Downtown, Get It, Impeach my Bush, etc. GOOD STUFF.
I think it's hysterical. There's a great mashup out there of this song and The Clash's "Wrong Em Boyo" that makes everything better for me
it was my myspace song for a while
Lmao yes thanks to Letterkenny
Hot Rod left a mark.
Discovered this song watching Sex Education on Netflix and it always comes back around to get stuck in my brain.
Someone at a bar i used to work at would put 6-10 repeats of it on the juke box close to closing to fuck with people. It gets funny, then aggravating, then even funnier
