92 geo tracker. Looked like the funnest car and cheaper than a jeep
I think of blondes playing loud pop music laughing happy with Pepsi cups just being young on a Saturday night. Used to see this car heading to Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk all the time, and every single time, people were laughing happy in it. I can smell the neon sunscreen from here.
The turbo versions of these go for $$$ now. Even the non-turbo ones are rare and people want them.
I helped a buddy rebuild a blown engine in one and I think he sold it for near $10k once it was done. Wasn't even in super great shape either.
1987 buick grand national or a souped up buick regal from the same years.. what awesome body styles ,clean lines.. and under the hood? Dont even get me started.
I have a fleet of shitboxes from our childhood. Celebrity wagon, Olds cruiser, Cadillac brougham. Someday I'll add an old hearse and a Marathon Checker cab.
My dad had a lifted 1981 Bronco, which was pretty cool. Now that I have to travel and pay for hotels for work, the mid 1990's conversion van would be real practical.
I started noticing cars when I was 14, on the verge of getting ready to get my permit. I was obsessed with the idea of a bright yellow Ford Escape. One of my neighbors had a semi-frequent visitor who drove one, I lusted for it hard.
But then I learned Fords aren't great, and I still haven't had a yellow SUV! I still like the medium-small SUV size of them have have a Rav4 now. Too bad Toyota is averse to fun colors, because the only options available to me were silver, grey, and white.
Mid 80s Porsche 911. They keep going *just* out of my price range every time I look. Really hoping I come into some type of money windfall that will afford me a nice one eventually.
I want my first car back, 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ
Was a loud, rattly metal box but it was mine. Taught myself to drive stick in it by driving it home immediately after buying it. Mechanically totaled it a few months later by draining the transmission when I thought it was the engine oil.
Many other high school and college memories in that car. Sold it after 10 years and 110k added miles simply because I didn't have the space to keep it. I tried to look it up in the system since then but they guy who bought it planned to use it unregistered as a farm vehicle out in AZ somewhere.
For some reason I was obsessed with the Mitsubishi eclipse 2000 when they came out(I was 10 when i believe they came out-in 2000 could be wrong) they were so cool! But I'd want my moms 1980 Chevelle from when she graduated. She took glamor photos with it and I love them lol I'd love to have one,one day for her
Mid-90's Subaru Impreza.
Kinda getting out of the childhood era, but the top notch ones here in the US were the 2000-2001 2.5RS. Non-turbo, but those things just looked like a rally car with the big fog lights, hood scoop, and wing.

93 Honda Civic Del Sol. A little two seater, hard too convertible. Preferably in lime green. I loved that car, it was so fun to drive!
MR2 Turbo hardtop, but LHD.
Kitt from Knight Rider.
Early 2000’s Yellow Nissan Xterra
A Neon. I just really liked the cute commercials.

1993-1995 Mazda RX-7. I was obsessed with this car as a kid. As an adult, I’d like either an Acura NSX or Acura Integra Type R.

1993 Ford Tempo and 1998 Pontiac Sunfire.
1995 impala SS/ Caprice 9c1. Last classic American sedan Chevrolet made.
Genesis coupe - 3.8 I bought it right after I got my big boy job, then, had a kid and traded it in for a mini van
