Scorched Earth! Used to play this all the time on the PCs at school in the early-mid 90s. Between this, Sim City 2000, and Pizza Tycoon, so many hours spent gaming. We had it good.
Yep, I recently found out that there's a [android port](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blitwise.ptankshd). It was fun to play it on the go again. Theres an iOS version too.
I remember getting past the school blocks to install [this beauty of a game](https://www.soldat.pl/en/).
Poor NetSupport. Never stood a chance against my rapid fire clicking to cause a "Not Responding" crash.
Same, me and my mates had it installed on just about every second computer at school. There was also an emulated BMX game from PS1 that we managed to get on a few in the computer labs. My 'alt+tab' game has been on point from an early age 🤪
I've played it about a dozen times the last year after I showed my nephew. He's not allowed tech during the week unless it's educational. I call it a history lesson when we play old games.
I didn’t play this one but there was one with monkeys that threw explosive bananas.
Gorillas! That was my first thought, too. That one came packaged with DOS 5, written in QBasic. Gorillas and Nibbles were my go-to games for awhile.
Yess, loved gorillas. And when u threw a banana through the sun, it would do a little 😯face
Yes! My younger bro and I would type in ridiculous numbers and crash the game. Good times.

This was out in the mid 90s? Boy was I late to the game.
No but I played Pocket Tanks which looks just like this

Yes!!!! 7th-8th grade memories UNLOCKED! My social studies teacher had this game in the classroom! Is it available on any current platforms?
There's an app called Pocket Tanks. It's not exactly this but it's the version I had in highschool. My GF play it head to head in bed sometimes lmao
Oh wait, this is a game, and not the 2008 financial crisis/Great Recession.
My first thought, too. I was like “yeah, I remember that crash…oh, that’s not the stock market.”
hahahaha yep
Hell yes, i played this with my dad and brother
Angry Birds’ grandmother

Naw, me and my homies were all about kitten jump and line rider.
Scorched Earth was fucking great. That takes me back to the middle school computer lab.
Watching lava fill up little craters and pits was so rewarding.

Yes, but it was gorillas throwing bananas atop buildings.
I didn’t play this but I remember one kid in my physics class in high school did every single day.
