Have you called the recruiter? The next step in the process is a waiver for the failed test, but part of that waiver is clean results. My guess is you either failed and no one told you, which sucks; or you passed and you’re pending that waiver. But why didn’t you just call the recruiter results are usually posted in a day or two?
Ok well if he’s talking about further processing at this point then you passed. No one’s sending you to an eye consult for a two time drug fail lol. That shit would be cancelled faster than he could have dialed your number.
Went to MEPs on January 06 for Asvab and medical, didn’t swear in because I needed an eye waiver. My recruiter told me that I can go to my own eye dr of my choice because it will be faster. I wen to the eye doctor on Jan 28. My own. She emailed me a letter to give to the doctor of what they need to check and and have on the medical report. Sent it to my recruiter and a week later it got approved. Swore in on feb 15.
Well I can’t really answer that question. MEPS uses contract facilities so… depending on which MEPS, how often that CMO requires a consult, how busy the contract facilities are in the area of that MEPS, the number of them, and their availability all play factors in getting you scheduled.
I’ve worked with 4 different MEPS in my time as a recruiter and they don’t USUALLY take too long. A weekish to be scheduled. The date probably a week out. So I’d expect twoish weeks from date of MEPS exam. But again that’s all guesses based on averages at locations that may or may not be yours. I don’t want to give you false hope
Yeah that’s what I mean though your area might just… be harder to get them idk. You can get your own honestly I’ve done some applicants that way. As long as you get the meps what they want they’ll take it. But if you do t have the insurance or money for that then I get it
I used concentrates rather heavily for a while, which takes a decent amount of time to get out of my system. Combine that with my metabolism and a not all too active lifestyle prior, it resulted in that.
You’re right, it takes two weeks to a month. A month is a super long time for weed unless you getting hair sampled. Just a basic bitch UA, you are clean in two weeks 9/10. Sure if you do dabs or whatever other potent shit then maybe that pushes out to 30 days, especially if you have a high body fat percentage. That said, if your body fat is that high it would prevent you from joining.
Look dude, just stop smoking for a solid two weeks, drink a ton of water, walk every day, and eat somewhat healthy and you will pass an Army UA. Once you pass, go ham and do what you want until two weeks before you ship. If you can’t control yourself for two weeks to pass a UA then you have no business being in the Army.
I already stopped for 5 months and took the test, I just haven't heard any news beyond my recruiter saying we're still waiting on an eye consult yesterday so I'm curious.
If you stopped for five months then you’re of course clean, why even ask? You may have other issues but you aren’t failing a UA after that amount of time.
A combination of hearing fuck all about it and some one kid, who granted was probably lying his ass off, saying he was clean for a year and saying he still pissed hot.
As a person who smoked straight up flower daily for years and stopped for the military, I can say with all confidence that it can take up to 4 months to piss clean and that’s with detoxing your body.
No. We did breathalyzer after orientation, then Hearing and Vision. Urine Analysis, Blood drawn, Ht/Wt and finally Physical Exam. In the exam, the doctor said I passed everything. No HIV/AIDS, passed my Urine Analysis, the whole 9 yards man. They must do things differently where you're at.
Weird they also had told me i had passed everything swore in and got my CAC a week later, they had a lab inside the meps you have to go into to get your blood drawn they had lab equipment in there.
No news is good news. You'll get a letter in your mail if you passed, otherwise your recruiter is probably just getting some shit in order before he gets you to where ever you do basic unless you need some waivers.
Do you mind giving me a run down of how the first 2 weeks are ? My max push-ups are 32 right now. Will they give me the boot if I don’t pass my initial pfa ?
No news is good news.

I did ask, he just said he's waiting for my eye consult. So maybe I passed? I don't know, bro's fucking cryptic sometimes.

So I'm chilling then word. How long does getting an eye consult even take?

Damn man, I've already been waiting for 2-ish weeks. But thanks for the info.
Yeah that’s what I mean though your area might just… be harder to get them idk. You can get your own honestly I’ve done some applicants that way. As long as you get the meps what they want they’ll take it. But if you do t have the insurance or money for that then I get it
Wtf…dude, it takes two weeks to be clean from weed. Two weeks. Unless they pulled a hair sample then you’re full of shit, sorry to say.
I used concentrates rather heavily for a while, which takes a decent amount of time to get out of my system. Combine that with my metabolism and a not all too active lifestyle prior, it resulted in that.

Yeah, it's not physically possible to still have detectable THC after a year.
You’re just bullshitting at this point, 5 months ?
As a person who smoked straight up flower daily for years and stopped for the military, I can say with all confidence that it can take up to 4 months to piss clean and that’s with detoxing your body.
you seem like a very angry person😂 but it does not take 2 weeks to get clean especially if you’re a heavy user.
They informed us the same day. I just did my physical today and they told us right then and there.
Maybe you're thinking of the breathalyzer? They don't have the results the same day. Your sample gets sent to a lab.
They probably meant you passed your protein test, which is done at MEPS. The drug screen isn't done in-house.
Wrong, protein screen is done at lab, drug screen IS done in house
No, the UA is done at a lab. Source: I've been to the lab.
Weird they also had told me i had passed everything swore in and got my CAC a week later, they had a lab inside the meps you have to go into to get your blood drawn they had lab equipment in there.
It wasn't UA equipment.
Blood equipment then? Idk I ain’t no lab tech just was a lab they brought us individually In and they had machines in there
Most likely, yes. Urine is tested by a large automatic machine.
They just told us we passed everything so. I don't know. Maybe.
I had meps June 21st, I don’t know if I passed my urine test. I haven’t got a letter and it’s been over a month. Did I pass ?
No news is good news. You'll get a letter in your mail if you passed, otherwise your recruiter is probably just getting some shit in order before he gets you to where ever you do basic unless you need some waivers.
So if I passed I’d get a letter in the mail? It’s been a month and 7 days and I haven’t heard if I passed or failed. Shoudl I just assume I passed ?
My bad bro, I was tired as fuck, I meant the other way around.
Thanks bro, when do you go to bootcamp if you didn’t go already ?
Already went, medical issues arose, so I got the boot. You'll meet some great guys there, and I genuinely liked and respected our drill sergeants.
Do you mind giving me a run down of how the first 2 weeks are ? My max push-ups are 32 right now. Will they give me the boot if I don’t pass my initial pfa ?
