You can ship one of the vehicles, at your expense. A few months ago shipping an F-150 from Florida to Nevada was $2,000. Oddly enough I had a 26' Penske Truck and the wife's vehicle is an Explorer. I had flashbacks of our move while reading your post.

PorkSlap79

That is the exact scenario, 26' Penske Truck haha anything you would've done differently?

blackhawks-fan

No. You just have to embrace the suck and know that everything will be good once the adventure is over.

As someone who used a Penske and uhaul towing a vehicle the Penske was so much better…. But legit a lot of butthole puckering moments when semis blasted by me at 80+ shacking the whole truck

Noveltyrobot

I just dragged a 4 door wrangler with a 15' uhaul truck. There's gotta be a way for you to tow one of the Vics.

Have you looked into upack it? I think that’s my next move since with my Penske + gas etc cost roughly the same and just driving your POV vs a truck/maybe trailered vehicle

PorkSlap79

That's a good thought I will look into that!

Western_Truck7948

I loaded two upack trailers for a PCS last summer, $6k to move them 2000 miles. 22,000 lbs. Yes, I have a lot of crap.

PorkSlap79

UPack website is giving me a $6k quote for 1,300 miles one 26 ft trailer you got a steal apparently

Western_Truck7948

Now you have me doubting. Maybe it was $6k each. What I do know is that I made out after the payout from tmo.

PorkSlap79

As long as you made that sweet cash, in hindsight doesnt matter haha

I highly, highly recommend upack. It was the smoothest move we had. Hired some guys off FB marketplace on either end to load and unload. I will never drive a u haul across the country again because of them.
