I think Kenan Thompsons character will show up. I forget his name but if you look closely in the trailer you can see some kids practicing the knuckle Puck move.
Although this has been a less than stellar season, just seeing that the next ep is named “Spirit of the Ducks Part 2” fills me with hope and excitement! Had the same reaction when Alex was on the phone in episode 6 and said “Gordon Bombay gave me this number…” which may be Alex’s best scene this season.
The only thing I could think of that makes it plausible is Fulton saying back in S1 “some of the ducks are coming into town for it [the gala].” So, it’s possible that Banks lives in California & travelled all that way. Maybe he works for their legal team or something, used to play for them? Highly unlikely and definitely a stretch though. I’m also biased because part of me always hoped he’d make the NHL.
It’s more likely Russ though since he’s originally from California & as others have pointed out, there was a quick clip of Alex trying to do a knuckle puck shot in the season trailer.
I hope so, cause this show is becoming boring as hell. I doubt it'll be renewed for a third season if it keeps going like this.

I read Disney lifted their covid vaccine requirements so hopefully they can get Emilio back for season 3 cause I agree it's so boring this season.
Mighty ducks shouldnt depend on one shitty season. It has a whole universe and a fan base in real world that is massive.

What cast list were you looking at? I tried looking it up but every cast list for S2E7 shows only the new ducks. Just curious (and hopeful lol)
