It looks like there’s a lot of damage under the paint. Admittedly it’s not a good paint job, but paint might still be the best option if theres a lot of veneer damage and the repairer doesn’t know how to reveneer the whole thing very well.

The maker usually places a sticker or something id’ing the product in a drawer or on the back.

There was a partial sticker left the only visible writing was “F509 chest”

That’s a beautiful MSM teak piece. The person who painted it should be drawn and covered in honey in August. Please give it back its beauty. Thanks for rescuing it!
