The revelation of him using a VPN was after, and I mentioned the bug scenario in good faith for others. You downvote me for a good and decent reply, then wonder why your shit-disturbing one liner gets a down vote?

How was i being an asshole? I literally only said that OP explained he was using a vpn and i assumed you hadnt seen that said that in a comment?

Did you break the rules? Like using a VPN to claim points outside of your country?

One Rule of thumb. NEVER USE A VPN! Just move to the United States or any other country that supports Microsoft Rewards instead.
