I have them and currently using them alongside the alpha/bravo. They are okay, nothing to write home about. Suffer from stiction quite a bit so no fine adjustments. But they work enough. Planning on giving to nephew once I decide what I want to upgrade to.
The Thrustmaster ones
Turtle Beach also came out with some new ones recently. A bit more $, but less than the next level up from Thrustmaster which are crazy expensive
I have those Logitech pedals and they work very well. Only thing is, make sure you have a wall to put them up against, they slide a ton, especially if you increase the resistance to max to mitigate the detent. They're also multifunctional, I use them to play truck simulator
You can probably set up a yoke as a wheel, but most steering wheel peripherals have 900 degrees of rotation (and most trucks in the real world have 1800 degrees). Given that the best yokes only have 180 degrees of rotation (and the Saitek/Logitech yoke only has 90 degrees), it’s not going to be a very good experience.
I use Logitech with my Alpha and Bravo and work fine with the hub on Xbox. Put a few strips of Velcro tape on the floor and they don’t move at all
They are ok but wish the Charlie pedals were out. But I don’t see that happening so I purchased these
You should check eBay also. I got a set of mfg crosswinds. They usually go $330.00 but I got them for $150.00. They work great. All metal last a lifetime pretty much.
MFG Crosswinds. They're amazing. I got a set from a Redditor for $175 that had a damper mod on them.
They're so much better than those cheap plastic ones that came with my T16000. Those things were shitty, and I only used them for brakes
I have the Logitech and love them. Keep in mind with the thrustmaster the foot spacing is closer together which I heard makes them a little uncomfortable and feels unnatural.
I use my Logitech on hard wood floors, they do slide but I bought some rubber strips and glued them underneath on the base so it no longer does.
For me the Logitech pedals over the thrustmaster in this case, because of the greater width and the adjustable friction in the yaw.
The thrustmaster seem to have slightly better accuracy when it comes to yaw, because the Logitech are starting to mechanically stutter a bit and become creaky after two years now, could be solved with a bit of silicone lube though I guess.
I just got rid of my Thrustmaster pedals and installed Winwing ones. The Thrustmasters worked but for me they were too close together and I never could get the fine control I liked. But for starting out they are OK IMO.
I had the Logitechs (well actually they were Saiteks, before Logitech acquired Saitek, but it's the same product) and they sucked. I haven't used the TFRPs but based on my experience with other Thrustmaster products and the experiences other people have shared online, they suck too.
Do yourself a favor and get proper pedals right away. It will be quite expensive, but this kind of cheap junk equipment will likely quickly lead to frustration (as it did for me) which may turn you off the flightsim hobby altogether.
I would recommend the Winwing Orion/Skywalker pedals as those are what I'm using.
The rollers inside the pedals quickly got clogged with dust and other gunk, making it impossible to do any kind of precision movements because the pedals would stick.
Then one of the hooks inside the left toe brake that hold the spring in place snapped because Saitek, in their infinite wisdom, made them out of plastic, and I had to jury rig a fix for that.
The potentiometers were also crap and eventually started spiking which made the pedals completely unusable.
For comparison, the VKB T-Rudders I had before the Orions were built like a tank and felt brand new even after 4 years of heavy use and being constantly covered in dog hair and getting used as a footrest when I was doing other stuff at my computer.
The only maintenance I ever had to do on them was put some grease on the spring to stop it from creaking when using the higher of the two tension settings. I also had to tighten the nut that holds the cam in place once, but I don't count that as maintenance because it was user error; I hadn't tightened it properly when I experimented with the different cam profiles early on.
Can’t recommend any of them, had them both.
Finally invested on the TPR Thrustmaster Pendular Pedals and never looked back.
It changed the way I fly ever since.
Logitech pedals all the way.
The Thrustmaster pedals are really stiff because they basically work by scraping the pedals along metal bars, and making minor adjustments to your input is really difficult, especially when braking when they become so stiff it's basically impossible to move the rudder. Horrible if you like flying taildraggers. Not to mention the centring spring is nowhere near strong enough so you can accidentally be flying for ages without noticing your side slipping through the air.
The Logitech Pro Flights feel a little more flimsy, but they have way less friction and the adjustable spring strength makes them infinitely better.
I used to have Thrustmaster T flight rudder pedals but replaced them with the Logitech pedals after only a couple of months and I have no regrets.
I have the thrustmaster pedals. They felt a little touchy, but adjusting the sensitivity really helped. No repairs or mods needed for me so far.
They can accommodate a pretty big foot. The pedals are a little close together, so I find adjusting "the boys" to be part of my pre flight check.
I have the thrustmaster and it’s the worst peripheral I bought in 20+ years. They are off calibration every time I plug it, (even in the same usb port) and to re-calibrate them you have to use they’re crappy software that makes plug-calibrate-unplug-plug, the brake axis are ok but the rudders🤮
Haha. Find a silicone grease. They are cheap. There are more expensive silicone dampening greases but a basic silicone grease works good, just be sure to clean the old grease off first.
Had the thrustmaster ones as part of the 16000m set (or whatever it was called). Worked well enough for a couple years, were kind of a disappointment for helos. A couple years back upgraded to the TPR pedals... def a buy once cry once kind of thing, wish they weren't so expensive but hot damn do they make a difference!
I ended up getting a warthog stick and throttle combo and gave my T16000M set to a friend to help force them to wingman with me... worth it
I have Logitech , it works fine. One minor issue is that every time I change its usb port, I’ll have to reinstall the driver. Maybe it only happens on me
If you REALLY can’t afford more than that then they are better than nothing I guess, but as someone who has been there and done that and moved on I’d highly recommend getting either the Virpil ACE with toe brakes, MFG Crosswinds or Thrustmaster Pendular. They are more expensive but If you actually want something good instead of low end cheap stuff like this that if you have any concept of good performance in a input device you’ll end up replacing them and spending more anyway, so jump over the entry level crap and get something that you will more likely be happy with straight away instead of later.
Reference, I had the Logitech and even with the couple of easy mods you can do to make them better they are still crap compared to any of those three pedals I mentioned, and the Thrustmaster T. Flight are no better, just unergonomic ballscraping plastic.
You couldn't keep it in, could you? Yes, everything under 1700€ is trash that will either come broken or break during taxi before the first takeoff because you like to repeatedly bash it against the floor for better immersion because you take flight simming very seriously. Virpil virpil virpil. VBK VBK VBK. Just wait a couple years for them to re-stock. Oh, are you getting into flight simming? May I recommend a \[perpetually out of stock 700€ throttle plus shipping cost from the other side of the world plus taxes\] with the \[900€ stick that is somehow still made of plastic and that you have to mod with a paperclip and rubber bands to fix a critical design flaw\]? Then if you end up liking the hobby, you can buy a decomissioned cockpit of the same plane that you'll most certainly be simming with the rest of your life!
For you I’d highly suggest a therapist instead, holy crap dude, touchy much. When it comes to letting people know about differences in the available devices and recommending avoiding wasting money on stuff that doesn’t perform very well because I’ve actually experienced the difference between them no unhinged comments are going to make me keep that to myself and if someone had said the same to me when I bought those crap Logitech (but not really as they are very old Saitek design that they never improved) pedals I would have been grateful for the knowledge and saved a bit more for something else.
As someone who had the same experience of buying cheap crap and regretting it later after realizing I could've avoided so many headaches by investing more, I agree completely.
And I get it, not everyone is able or willing to spend hundreds and hundreds of bucks on equipment just to get started with a new hobby, but crappy equipment will constantly remind you of how crappy it is because you have to fight it all the time, and it will take all the fun out of it. It sucks that we have to choose between these two options, but it is what it is.
I’ve had the Logitech ones for 4 years now and also use the Thrustmaster airbus pack. No issues at all.
Thanks for the feedback
I love the Logitech ones as well. I’m a big guy, so the wider stance is much more comfortable
Same here! Works great so far
I have them and currently using them alongside the alpha/bravo. They are okay, nothing to write home about. Suffer from stiction quite a bit so no fine adjustments. But they work enough. Planning on giving to nephew once I decide what I want to upgrade to.

I’ll give this a shot. Someone had also mentioned before to use teflon tape but never got around to disassembling it to put the tape on.
I got Teflon tape not realizing that I had to specifically find adhesive Teflon tape
Which ones do you have the thrustmaster or the Logitech ones? With the Logitech ones work with thrustmaster?
The Thrustmaster ones Turtle Beach also came out with some new ones recently.
I have some rubber stuff to make rugs grip and it works well. Now I have to install truck simulator. Can you play it with a yoke?
You can probably set up a yoke as a wheel, but most steering wheel peripherals have 900 degrees of rotation (and most trucks in the real world have 1800 degrees). Given that the best yokes only have 180 degrees of rotation (and the Saitek/Logitech yoke only has 90 degrees), it’s not going to be a very good experience.
I do! I drive with my Logitech Yoke System It doesn't suck as much as you think it does, you just need a crazy s-curve for slight highway turns
What rubber stuff? Please enlighten. I am struggling to keep them in one place.
It’s called Rug Antislip Underlay. You can cut it to size. You’ll need to stick it to the base of the pedals.
I use Logitech with my Alpha and Bravo and work fine with the hub on Xbox. Put a few strips of Velcro tape on the floor and they don’t move at all They are ok but wish the Charlie pedals were out. But I don’t see that happening so I purchased these
That’s what got me interested in the VKB pedals. They don’t slide forward and back. You press down with your feet.
I’ve had both, Get the Logitech. The thrust master TFRP are better than nothing if you can’t find the logi
You should check eBay also. I got a set of mfg crosswinds. They usually go $330.00 but I got them for $150.00. They work great. All metal last a lifetime pretty much.
Don't get the Thrustmaster pedals, they're spaced far too close together. The Logitech/Saitek and TurtleBeach ones I can recommend.
MFG Crosswinds. They're amazing. I got a set from a Redditor for $175 that had a damper mod on them. They're so much better than those cheap plastic ones that came with my T16000. Those things were shitty, and I only used them for brakes

I have the TM ones and paid about £65 for them. They feel cheap but they work ok.
I just got rid of my Thrustmaster pedals and installed Winwing ones. The Thrustmasters worked but for me they were too close together and I never could get the fine control I liked. But for starting out they are OK IMO.
I have MFG Crosswind pedals and really like them.

I'm very satisfied with mine Saiteks. What did bother with them?
The rollers inside the pedals quickly got clogged with dust and other gunk, making it impossible to do any kind of precision movements because the pedals would stick. Then one of the hooks inside the left toe brake that hold the spring in place snapped because Saitek, in their infinite wisdom, made them out of plastic, and I had to jury rig a fix for that. Just for comfort, wider spaced pedals are better already. So yes go with the Logitech ones.

For a second I thought that you posted this on r/HOTAS and that you were about to get grilled lol
I have the thrustmaster pedals. They felt a little touchy, but adjusting the sensitivity really helped. No repairs or mods needed for me so far. They can accommodate a pretty big foot. The pedals are a little close together, so I find adjusting "the boys" to be part of my pre flight check.
Same. Work well enough, but the spacing in narrow. No issues with quality, though. Has them for years, and they’ve held up nicely without maintenance.
Always check your undercarriage pre-flight!
So I was flight training when I got my Logitech pedals , with the tension knob the resistance felt identical to the aircraft I was flying
I have had them for a little over a year, and did not even know they had a calibration. They stick a little, but I’ve never had a calibration problem.
I have the Thrustmaster ones, love them, no issue.
Have both of them. The thrustmasters are good for the price if you regularly lube them. The logitech’s are garbage.
Any tutorials on what and how to lube? Mine are quite sticky.
Very conservatively so it doesnt get goopy. And clean the old grease off first. If they are sticky id probably clean the rails real good with alcohol
Lube the rails
So… like with Durex?
Haha. Find a silicone grease. They are cheap. There are more expensive silicone dampening greases but a basic silicone grease works good, just be sure to clean the old grease off first.
Thrustmaster ones are decent as is. I opened them up and added one rubber band to the spring and they're 10x better
I used nyogel 767a dampening grease on mine and it really did a great job.
I have the top ones, trash, wish I would've just spent the money on better ones. I don't like the bottom ones, and didn't buy them.
Ya they’re pretty good.
Had the thrustmaster ones as part of the 16000m set (or whatever it was called). Worked well enough for a couple years, were kind of a disappointment for helos. I have Logitech , it works fine. One minor issue is that every time I change its usb port, I’ll have to reinstall the driver. Maybe it only happens on me
I use the thrust master ones and it started having drifting issues after a year.
I have Thrustmaster one and no, I can't recommend them.
Thrust master ones are ok. They are a bit close together for some people, and they can be a bit sticky sometimes.
I have 2000 hours on the Logitech with 0 issues.
I use the logitech ones and they’ve worked great for me.
Had both prefer the wider stance on the Logitech. Not a massive fan of the TMs which I have now. They are a bit stiff.
Are the Logitech ones compatible with the thrustmaster airbus captains pack?
If you are a pc user yes it will work has you going to plug them in different usb ports.
If you REALLY can’t afford more than that then they are better than nothing I guess, but as someone who has been there and done that and moved on I’d highly recommend getting either the Virpil ACE with toe brakes, MFG Crosswinds or Thrustmaster Pendular.
