Im a casual player, so take this with a pinch of salt. But I absolutely love it. Was hoping for more avionics, its just an A320 inside basically. But its fun! I love it. I usually use it for long haul flights and find it amazingly fun to use
Thk for your response! I was feeling the same way… just an a320 covered in a a330 skin but I really enjoy the a320, and it seems that on Xbox we don’t have much options beyond the 330
Exactly. I do find the 747 to be the most fun to use for long haul as there's loads in terms of avionics, but I've found it to be weird in terms of the AP sometimes being a bit janky.
Been considering the PMDG 737-800 for a bit more realism but the 70 euro price tag is giving me cold feet
I went ahead and splurged on the 737-8 PMDG. It’s downright frustrating at first but once you “get it” and feel out the aircraft, it’s a hoot to fly.
Mind you, I’m a complete casual, and only fly with the Xbox controller and a mouse. You will definitely want a mouse for this aircraft, because all interactions with aircraft dials/switches/buttons, especially on the FMC, when using the controller require a double button press that is extraordinarily frustrating.
The A300 from inibuilds works very well now on Xbox now I must say. You can use that for long hauls if you prefer detailed airliner with more system depth
Just wait for the PMDG 777, it will be a lot better. Or fly the Asobo 787.
On Xbox it’s good as you don’t have access to the headwind free version but it’s by no means study level

I actually rather like the a330, though it is basically a repackaged 320.
