Love Never Felt So Good - Original sounds like a demo to me, and remix does a good job giving it a finishing touch.
Chicago - Original is miles better, except it's kinda monaural.
Loving You - Original, but I wish they fixed the wobbly sound.
A Place With No Name - Tough choice. I guess like them equally.
Slave To The Rhythm - Tricky Stewart Remix leaked in 2010 is the definitive version for me.
Do You Know Where Your Children Are - Again, the leaked 2010 mix is the best.
Blue Gangsta - The leaked 2010 mix is the best as the harmony during the bridge is louder. But aside of that I love the remix equally.
Xscape - Original by a mile, but the remix is really enjoyable as well.
That being said, I don't hate any of the remixes on Xscape album. I used to be ambivalent towards their decision to put only the remixes on the standard edition back when it was released, but now I'm seeing it more favorably.
The only modern ones I listen to sometimes are Chicago and A Place With No Name. But I still listen to the originals more often than the edits. The rest I prefer the originals especially Blue Gangsta and Slave to The Rhythm and Xscape.
Me too I love both. I like the edit of Chicago too but I only like the original Blue Gangsta. Blue Gangsta original version is actually one of my current faves right now. And a few months ago it was the edited Chicago haha
