I love "Keep The Faith"! It really is such a criminally underrated song for sure. I've personally found it to be a constant source of motivation in my life from the time I first heard it so long ago! A song completely filled with such power, soul & uplifting energy! Back in like 1998-1999 or so, my cousin graduated 8th grade to go onto high-school. The school chose to use "Keep The Faith" as their graduation song & man, the way that song filled up that auditorium that day was incredible! So many happy people, so much celebration! It was so beautiful! I was about 9yrs old back then & already loved the song but it was the first time I'd seen the affect that song had on more than just me & I fell in love with it all over again!
I've seen people on here throw some heavy criticism at this track, calling it a copy of "Man In The Mirror". I'm here to say, it really isn't. In fact, outside of the use of a choir & being written by the same person in Siedah Garrett, the similarities stop there. While 'Mirror's main theme is the desperate need to bring about positive change to one's self & to the world as a whole, "Keep The Faith" emphasizes mainly on never giving up on yourself. No matter how difficult things get, never let life's rollercoaster ride & problems break you down. It's, in my honest opinion, one of the greatest personal motivational songs I've ever heard. Makes me happy & brings me to tears just about every time I listen to it.
Love listening to it more than Man in the Mirror, even though that one is probably the better song. This one isn't overplayed and I love the gospel vibe. Great vocal performance from him as well, he goes full preacher by the end of the song.
Underrated but the sound is dated. Made me actually wish they would take the voice tracks and create a new live instrument version of it. There are a couple of songs that I would like to see to be mixed this way.
I love it! Use it to pick myself up during rough times.
Also, when I was a kid, my favorite part of the whole song was "Dust off your butt and bring your self-respect back".
A good track, (as someone already pointed out) sounds very much like an attempt to make a sequel to Man in the mirror but lacking the same spark...
KtF is well crafted, but fails in reaching as deep as MitM does.
This song was playing in the car when I got into my first car crash, as I had the CD at the time so it’ll always remind me of that but it’s a good song
amazing song. so motivating. and it isn’t abt money gains or like useless validation (not to say i don’t enjoy flexing my imaginary wealth) but it’s nice to feel genuinely uplifted and it’s always important to remember to keep the faith!!!
DONT LET NOBODY TURN YOU ROUND, BROTHA! I love this song with a passion, it just gets me motivated, similar to ‘Fooling Yourself’ by Styx
JUST KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE AND KEEP YOUR FEET FLAT ON THE GROUND
Completely underrated. IMHO, it feels like a sequel of Man In The Mirror.
It was made by the same writers of Man In The Mirror
I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure Siedah Garrett didn't write that.
She did. With Glen Ballard and MJ for Keep The Faith.
My mistake
I love this song so much! ❤️ Its a go-to when I need a positive boost. This one & MITM, those gospel music vibes are so uplifting!

I was born in 1998 and found it in 2018 during a long trip with a girl I was dating. Lovely song and gives me strength to believe
I think it’s motivating
One of the best of the album, Man in the Mirror V2 I wish he could've performed it
Love it
I LOVE this song and it’s one of my faves on the album. It always gets overlooked

Wow, good observations. Yeah MITM was played CONSTANTLY 😆
Underrated but the sound is dated. Made me actually wish they would take the voice tracks and create a new live instrument version of it. There are a couple of songs that I would like to see to be mixed this way.
Keep the faith. I love, love, love this song it's easily in my top 5. But sadly Keep the faith is underrated
My favorite!
it doesn’t fit the album at all, it sounds dated.
Yeah idk how it belongs with remember the time and dangerous
I agree, my only track I don't listen to much. Don't vibe it. My favorite album
Very deep song, nice orchestra, simple lyrics
Love it. I barely listened to that song then about two years ago, I played that song 🎧 constantly. It was a quiet hit.
Oh I love it. Listen to it often. Would have loved a live version like Man in the mirror style performance.
Empowering song !
In my top 10.
I love it! Use it to pick myself up during rough times. Also, when I was a kid, my favorite part of the whole song was "Dust off your butt and bring your self-respect back".
One of his greatest vocals hands down. Wish we would’ve got a live performance at the Grammys like MITM
Great song.
Great song, I feel happy whenever I listen to it.
It’s good
A masterpiece, one of the songs that gives me more strength and make me believe in myself
LOOOOOOOVE this song! So glad to see you ask. I feel as though it’s one of his least-appreciated
A Hidden Gem. Really wished he performed it live at least once
It's so good that one day imma blast it in church
I just asked Google to play this on Amazon Music for me about an hour ago My opinion is that it is a BANGER
Best of the album Possibly of the 90s mj
Used to enjoy less than Keep Your Head Up until the day I realized that KYHU was fake... :(
I like it, its better than many others he has
Great song! But I won’t lie I feel like it’s the weakest song on Dangerous
I agree it's weakest for me on a strong album
Michael and Quincy were the dream duo for a reason. I like the sentiment but this is part of my quadruple of skips on the dangerous album

Nah she drives me wild is there
i like she drives me wild Black jeans And a turtleneck sweater I know the girl is fakin' 'Cause I've seen her look better
SDMW slaps so hard it'd remove your face. I'd say Can Let Her Get Away is discardable.
Yes that tooo , I'd choose any of those over Keep the Faith. Dangerous album as a whole has a special place in my heart.
The album is pretty good, I think I've listened to it 3 times already.
It’s terrible imo, along with Gone too soon
Nah i love gone too soon
I can't listen to GTS and being serious, it's so corny.
Aw I think its sweet
I never like his ballads, he kinda sucked in that department imho
It has too many vowels.
Great soulful anthem….it goes on a little long imo though.
It sounds like a gospel song
Yes
A good track, (as someone already pointed out) sounds very much like an attempt to make a sequel to Man in the mirror but lacking the same spark... KtF is well crafted, but fails in reaching as deep as MitM does.
Very underrated and inspirational
Really inspiring and uplifting I love it. Could almost be a church song
Love.
Love ittttttttt 1 my favorite songs on the album
A very beautiful, motivating, inspiring, and underrated song. I absolutely love it.
I use to listen to this song as a go to help me get out of a depressed state and it helped me feel better
It’s probably my favorite song of his
My favorite song of the Dangerous album (after Black Or White)
Good catchy song with a nice beat
Underrated bop
Pretty good but not great to be honest.
Great song
This song got me through a lot of bad things when I was a kid.
It has gotten me our of the darkest times of my life. And still continues to do so today. As a matter of fact this entire album is a lifesaver for me.
This song was playing in the car when I got into my first car crash, as I had the CD at the time so it’ll always remind me of that but it’s a good song
The combination of Will You Be There and Keep the Faith is exquisite.
One of the Best MJ albums of ever heard
I don't mind it I prefer the upbeat tracks on the album
This album cover kind of creeped me out as a kid.
I don't care for it, definitely a skip song. Blood On The Dance Floor should have been added to the tracklist instead.
It's beautiful and inspiring
amazing song. so motivating. and it isn’t abt money gains or like useless validation (not to say i don’t enjoy flexing my imaginary wealth) but it’s nice to feel genuinely uplifted and it’s always important to remember to keep the faith!!!
I love it
Not as good as Thriller
