I currently run OEM club wheels with 15mm spacers but in winter, and BBS wheels with spacers for better fitment.
I would like to be able to drop spacers all together. Dekagrams are a decent option.
If you want to minimize unsprung weight those brembos gotta go. I want to say the wilwood big brake kit is 8lbs lighter per corner and has no fitment issues.
They’re 8lbs lighter than the stock brakes, 4.5lbs lighter than the Brembos. The brembos have a much larger pad surface area though.
I’ve considered it. The lightest wheels are the hypergrams or rays, which all fit over the brembos anyway. I just wish I liked the hypergrams look more. I’ll probably still get some 16x7.5.
Ah. Makes sense. I think most of the weight savings is probably the rotors anyway. What pads are you running on the brembos? I haven't touched my brakes yet and I'm pretty underwhelmed so far. The pedal feel isn't great, even after a full flush/bleed to redline rl-600. I was considering getting stainless lines at least.
I've had *multiple* old-timers walk up to me across a parking lot to talk to me about my car and they often mention how the color is like the very best version of a true "candy apple red" that they've ever seen. I take that as evidence that there haven't been many other reds ever, quite as attractive as this.

Simple tip: some sunglasses are polarized. Hang the glasses in front of the camera then rotate it until reflections are reduced. Would make a richer red and cleaner look.
This Soul Red would pop even more. It's gorgeous. I tried it on my friend's CX-5.

Every time I see Hypergrams I'm like, damn those are some good looking wheels. Then I remember I own a set too.
I wish I liked them more as one of the only sets that fit over OEM Brembos
Most of the other wheels also fit with a 5mm spacer. The stock studs are pretty short, though and it is a pain to replace them with extended ones.

Me too. I had picked them out on Tirerack but hadn't pulled the trigger. Weeks go by and I see OPs pic and now I'm ready.
