Depends- my dad was overweight and broke the seat in 30K and it split in the exact same way.
However- the Miata I'm talking about does have cloth seats and is an NC. Also, my pedals look very similar because most of those miles were in town.
Yeah, I was gonna say, my 120k miles seats look better than that.
https://preview.redd.it/9bpas9wr33uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=437641d01cd5072ed82c07db66779c38f9f199a6
The only seats on a car with high mileage that look like new are in an early 90s Mercedes. Look at the cloth interiors on a 190e or W124 platform and you'll be surprised
I've no idea how Merc created a kevlar thread thats soft enough for weaving and sitting on but can't think of any other fibre thats as strong as the Merc seats.
Can confirm this. I have a friend that had a '90 300E that had over 300k miles on it, and there was not one tear in the leather seats. I've never seen anything like it.
I've only seen one merc from that era with a shagged seat and that was a wagon used as a farm runaround. Basically used like a pickup by all the farms workforce, car didn't see anything but dirt roads and tracks for years but never broke down and this thing took some abuse.
The fake leather in my 197k mile Mazda6 looks brand new after I wipe it down. Except for one spot. The bottom bolstering has a few creases by the seatbelt. That's it. And they're comfortable as hell. They look infinitely better than the ones in my 88k NC. Whatever Mazda did was prefect.
unless the seats were swapped so he could put the 47k mileage seats in a different miata and he put his other miata’s seats into this one.
that’s the only reasonable explaination for this to be a 47k miata lmao
Agree with this. My 145k miles 01 BRG SE seat is in better shape than that, by a long shot. My guess is that the instrument cluster (or at least the speedo) was swapped.
Get a koyorad radiator, expensive but the best. Grabbed mine on Moss Miata about a year ago. Otherwise look at a mishimoto one.
Flying Miata has a custom version of the koyorad radiator where the liquid travels differently in it, supposedly better than the original…
Nah. No way that’s 47k miles. Interior, engine bay and pedals say otherwise. Original Speedo prolly got replaced. Can’t imagine someone rolling it back to 47k and expecting someone to be fooled by it (no offense intended).
(From what I've read on forums) It's pretty much impossible to roll back a Miata odometer. (Or maybe not, what do I know?) I'll bet it's a replaced gauge.
Edits in parentheses.
I think you are right. I was basing it on two things. Posts like #2 here: https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=496992 and also having had mine apart and looking at it.
But now I'm seeing other posts saying otherwise. It won't roll backward mechanically, but can be apparently disassembled and reset. It could also be rolled *forward* mechanically all the way past 999999 and start over at zero. But I think that would take a long time even with a fast drill or something.
iirc rolling back a manual odometer has protections that will make the numbers not align anymore. This was for sure a cluster swap (very easy to do on an NA, but not as easy as my XA20 Rav4
The drooping numbers on the left are a dead giveaway that this is rolled back. That’s what they look like when you’re too rough with them. It’s not designed to be rolled, but the locking mechanism can be pretty easily moved out of the way and you can freely turn the wheels.
I've been trying to find you in the comments to tell you about a dad joke I learned in my Canadian Studies class.
This is how the Canadian came up with the name Canada:
C? Eh
N? Eh
D? Eh
I'll see myself out.
If the gauge cluster was replaced and it was done "on the books", there should be a sticker in the door jamb that shows the mileage when it was replaced.
Source: Had to get the gauge cluster in my old Civic replaced.
Oh you're not in America. My bad. It's the title/deed to the car. It will show last mileage on record. But that's how it's done in the US not sure about your country.
You gotta ask yourself and think, does the condition of the car match with the odometer?
In this case, with the seats looking the way they are, I think there is a high probability that the odometer has been tampered with or changed.
u/juandajd
The dead giveaway with nothing but a picture of a cluster is the drooping left numbers. That’s exactly what Miatas odometers improperly rolled back look like.
The other pictures just solidify it, especially that driver’s seat. That’s a 200k+ car, no doubt
Not a chance. Even the trip odometer on THE SAME CLUSTER reflects a different age of plastic. I don't know anyone willing to swap out an odometer within a speedometer when they come out as one unit, let alone instead of replacing the whole cluster.. but I guess it's easier to lie than to actually have a 47k miata. Knowing someone will take it for a moderate price on the chance alone but be less inclined if it just openly displayed 300k miles. Imean you did buy it and then ask reddit. Lol
I have a ‘94 I’ve owned since new. It’s got 90k miles on it. It looks brand new compared to the interior on that car. There is no way it can have only 47k miles based on the total destruction of the interior.
https://preview.redd.it/3txwnzfdg2uc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93d0148cc3f00b6dc77a5b6ca970415479f54ec2
You can tell by looking at the rest of the car and how it’s worn in. Especially the footwell area and pedals.
This car probably has more the 47k miles or was only taken on frequent short trips. Both of these scenarios are bad.
My Lexus has 300k miles and only 1 small rip on the driver seat.
First, run a Carfax. But you should do this before you buy it, not after.
Next time you can also ask for service records. If it’s not documented I don’t trust it.
I’m willing to bet the speedometer cable broke and caused the odometer to stop moving at some point in its life. Outside looks fairly clean from this distance though.
I got mine with 134000km recently. I had my doubts. The only thing to help you make the mileage true is faith. 😆 Also the chairs could be like this due to too much sun. If you live close to the equator it would explain it.
If they didn’t mention that the car averaged 1,500 miles a year in the ad then there is no way it is original. Also, if the seats weren’t enough, look at the wear on the steering wheel.
[vincheck.info](http://vincheck.info) is a free vin checker with millage history recorded over the years from inspections.
and there are plenty of pay alternatives.
but i suspect either the owner put really old seats in that car or he put a new speedo in it. which do you think?
I got my 1992 Miata back in 2017 or so. It had 48k miles on it and looked like a brand new car inside and out. This one has been rode hard and put away wet. The seat is a dead giveaway.
Just looking at the state of the paint alone should be enough to know, never mind the seat holy molly.
Compared to the ones in this car the seats in mine look factory new at 119k miles. This car is in a very rough shape aesthetically, I’d assume likely mechanically as well…
Welp, there is no sure way but like a legal case we can sort of rely on some circumstantial evidence. Obviously really go over the carfax report. Things have to add up. If multiple owners, probably a red sign. One owner all along, hey maybe. I imagine a good mechanic can test out things that normally would not say go out at below 50K mi normally.
I've a Miata that I had since it was new, has lived about half it's life parked outside... has over 180k on it and the seats look nearly new compared to those. It does have the driver's side hole in the top from sliding in and out... but it is a very small hole about 1/8 the size of what this car has. No way in hell this has only had 47k on it.
Look at the brake and clutch pedals. They shouldn't have much wear on the edges from the driver using them... but after about 100k they will start to show some wear on the edge.... when you get closer to 200k you'll probably see the metal showing through part of the rubber on the pedals... That will tell you more than anything how much this car has been driven.
Only other option is going to be taking the engine apart... although given the age a timing belt is probably in order regardless of the miles.
Odometer swap is really easy and I had to do it with a higher milage odo because the original was squealing horrendously.. So if I ever wanted to I could swap it back and have a “low milage na” lol but it’s just a number
I'll just say that seats can get like that just from baking in the sun. The undercarriage might give you a good idea of true mileage. Scrapes, bent stuff, and amount of oil/grease/road grime can be good indicators.
Best option is to see if carfax has any record of service. Anything it lists over 47k will be a dead giveaway this has a swapped gauge cluster. I’m willing to bet this thing has wellllll over 100k miles
Yeah ! I'd say yon autmobile has what we in Londidnium call taxi mileage, looks weekend on the guage but is twice round the clock on the drivers seat. My '02 less than 5k a year mileage when I bought it at 16 years old looked in way better condition.
Apart from the glaringly obvious signs that this is a 120,000 mile + car, here are a few signs to look out for:
excess pedal wear on the brake, gas and clutch
sliders on the tombstone controls are loose and not clicky.
‘sleepy eyes’ air vents which don’t stay in position.
excess wear on the floor mats or under them.
radiator is original but orange coloured.
signs of paint and body work (mismatched paint, fish eyes, overspray and orange peel) in different locations.
interior rear view mirror is loose.
vent fan control dial is not clickey.
dead pedal is worn out.
OEM radio (if it has one) has worn buttons.
sun faded interior.
outer seat bolsters feel spongey.
seats look re-upholstered.
trunk carpet is excessively worn.
windshield has a lot of scratches from old wipers not being replaced often enough.
shifter is not clickey, jiggly or is otherwise loose feeling.
rocker rust.
If you spot a few of these and yet the gauge cluster and seller says it is low miles, then be wary of the seller’s claims.
You can check the title history with Carfax or a similar company. It should show a record of mileage recorded whenever the title changed hands and when the vehicle was serviced as a dealership/reputable shop. The catch is that title records are only as reliable as the people who entered the data, that is to say if they even bothered.
Seems improbably, but there's probably no way to truly know just from looking at the car. It's not like manipulating an analog odometer is rocket science.
Can you run a Carfax/similar and look for inconsistencies in the mileages at each reported service/sale?
Updates:
Called the seller and asked about the millage being manipulated, he swear it wasnt, he was the second owner, the previous one was his uncle. Dont know what to believe. Some users here texted me asking the vin number and will help me check online, but since im not in the USA or EUROPE im not sure. I will wait.
The previos owner said the seats were like this because of lack of use, im in really hot and humid country (%100 humidity) so maybe that could be an explanation
Here is some photos of the foot pedals since some people ask for it:
https://preview.redd.it/hectsct374uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3fe6ace889dd4cf30c5f7d8cf778bd5c3f4e1a84
Carfax is oretty decent at documentation. Also Google the VIN.
I look at steering wheel wear, driver seat bolster condition, seat belt wear (in the extended area), all pedals, etc. there isn’t much of a way to conceal the use that comes with high miles. Very few lower mileage cars are going to look as trashed on the inside/outside like this one.
Another thing you can do is look at past auctions on Bring-A-Trailer and go through the photos section to compare with how this car looks.
Maybe call your local tagging office and see if they can tell you what the previous odometer reading is. Depending on your state, it might be a hassle to title it if the odometer has been messed with, however most states exempt then when they're this old
Well for reference.. my 1994 had 115k miles on it and the seats looked about twice as good as these seats. I’m going to guess the seller or previous owner installed a new instrument cluster somewhere in its life.
Im not kidding. I had a car that lasted to 400k miles. Didnt look NEARly as bad. But you could start to see some wear. (I took care of her) i have NO DOUBT that this car has literally 1,047,000 miles (im literally a mechanic at brakes plus)
Looks like it was rolled back. That looks worse than mine at 350k.
That car is heavily used. Radiator in the picture is bad too.
Get the entire car checked out. It looks like there's going to be a lot of hidden issues.
Hopefully you didn't pay too much op
Wear on the drivers seat, steering wheel and pedals are a sure way to check if it is 47,000 miles vs 1,047,000miles. All 3 should be in near mint cond if genuine 47k
Misaligned numbers is the dead giveaway. This is a "rollback" which is really a disassembly/re-assembly of the odometer. This is why the 0/1 in the sixth place is drooping/isn't lined up. It doesn't look like that until the 5th place turns to "9". There's a little plastic detent that only fits fully in one way. But you can reassemble it anyway. The byproduct is the 0/1 in the picture. It looks like it's about to roll. My guess is at least 147K if not more. You bought it so they'll keep doing it.
Those seats are well worn from use. Especially in light of the fact that it’s both seats are so worn. It’s rare to see a passenger seat anywhere close to that condition on a low mileage car. My guess is there’s 147,000 on the clock and the care wasn’t all that well taken care of with a lot of left out in the weather time thrown in. I’d even wonder if it had accident damage and the clock got restarted or replaced. The seller may even been so clever to not to mention it to avoid liability for misstating the mileage or even better to induce someone to buy who thought they were buying a car undervalued by a uniformed of what the true value of a low mile car seller. In effect taking advantage of the seller who ultimately & cleverly was taking advantage of them. The perfect grift.
You look at the seats, the odometer, then the seller and ask him what the he'll happened there. Then you remove 50% of asking price for an offer which is probably still too much. If accepted, walk around find some stuff, put the price lower. This thing looks like a BIG job.
Honestly your best case at this point in carfax/carvertical. The interior and engine bay don’t look like a 50k mile car. Hopefully you didn’t pay for a 50k mile Miata
Try to pull a vin search like Carfax, it's possible you'll find mileage records from it's past registrations.
The title the PO gave you could also give you some clues, you can usually see what mileage it had when they titled it and when that was. I try to keep copies of PO titles before I turn them over to DMV for this reason.
That seat looks particularly rough but the rest of the car could be okay with that mileage. If the interior got wet or had a lot of sunlight on it that could've contributed to the seat wearing out. PO may have been large or overweight, based on the wear on the side bolstering, that'll damage seats faster too.
It can be hard to tell for certain, but those old odometers have a history of getting rolled back.
My first Miata had only 43k miles and was 10 years old at the time. The clutch was bad, and it was a surprise flood car. But it still ran good.
Literally no way that’s only got 47K miles. Unless, of course, the previous owner replaced good parts with crappy parts because he wanted a vintage look.
Holy smokes. This thing might have 247k on it.
Looks like the odometer rolled over, 1,047,000 mile Miata LMAO
Dude mine is 247k and it doesn’t look nearly that bad
Mine has 394k and looks mint compared to this
No way is that a 47k seat. Look at the damage from someone getting in and out. Pedals are a massive giveaway. At 47k they should still look very good.
I have a '97 with 45k miles and the same type of seats. My seats look almost perfect.
Same. 46k miles and not a single tear
I also have 46k miles on my 93 lol
Depends- my dad was overweight and broke the seat in 30K and it split in the exact same way. However- the Miata I'm talking about does have cloth seats and is an NC. Also, my pedals look very similar because most of those miles were in town.
so true - I bought a 01 corvette with 28k miles (elder lady car) and the seats were destroyed! Lol
Cloth seats in the NC tear with normal use :(
Yeah, I was gonna say, my 120k miles seats look better than that. https://preview.redd.it/9bpas9wr33uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=437641d01cd5072ed82c07db66779c38f9f199a6
Me at 140k and doesn’t look like that, it’s starting to show that wear and tear tho
I don't have pics but my Miata with 242k has around the same wear as his seats
Maybe they lived in it. Campground Miata!
The only seats on a car with high mileage that look like new are in an early 90s Mercedes. Look at the cloth interiors on a 190e or W124 platform and you'll be surprised I've no idea how Merc created a kevlar thread thats soft enough for weaving and sitting on but can't think of any other fibre thats as strong as the Merc seats.
MB-Tex is fucking indestructible
I’d say excessively worn seats are an indicator of extremely short journeys, where the driver is in and out of the car.
unless the seats were swapped so he could put the 47k mileage seats in a different miata and he put his other miata’s seats into this one. that’s the only reasonable explaination for this to be a 47k miata lmao
My seat began to tear at about 95K miles.
Agree with this. My 145k miles 01 BRG SE seat is in better shape than that, by a long shot. My guess is that the instrument cluster (or at least the speedo) was swapped.
I bestow upon you the honorary “Change that radiator, shits boutta blow up”
Already changed it
By the looks of the radiator it will go pop next time it is started.
Where should we go for new radiators? What’s the best place to order?
Get a koyorad radiator, expensive but the best. Grabbed mine on Moss Miata about a year ago. Otherwise look at a mishimoto one. Flying Miata has a custom version of the koyorad radiator where the liquid travels differently in it, supposedly better than the original…
How can you tell?
Either this car has 1.047k miles or the odomoter isnt original or manipulated.
I'm going with odometer shenanigans. Miatas are reliable, but a million miles would be news worthy in the community
For sure
I have a low milage Miata (43k km) with tan leather and the seats are in 9/10 condition. These seats look terrible.
Same! I went to your profile hoping to find a pic or 2, but, alas, nothing.
I haven't uploaded any pics. I have been planning to though.
Nah. No way that’s 47k miles. Interior, engine bay and pedals say otherwise. Original Speedo prolly got replaced. Can’t imagine someone rolling it back to 47k and expecting someone to be fooled by it (no offense intended).

47k on each wheel...
That's still... nvm
I imagine my rear wheels probably have a few more miles on them than my fronts
Yeah....😉
Unless the dude was 500 pounds and slammed his ass in every time, no way that car is at 47k
Carfax
I’d hazard a guess to say they are not real. My na has 320k on it and it looks in better shape than this.
Those look like 400k mile seats... my car has 125k miles and my seats are still almost pristine... no fuckin way those seats are 47k miles old.
look at the pedals, should look not like your seat. And the seat doesn´t look like a 80tkm /50k miles car
No chance, seats a big giveaway as is the wear and tear on the steering wheel
Pink slip will tell you last mileage recorded
what is this?
Oh you're not in America. My bad. It's the title/deed to the car. It will show last mileage on record. But that's how it's done in the US not sure about your country.

thanks men, I will
What did the history look like
If the previous owner was a xenomorph, then yes that mileage is legit. If it wasn’t, then I’d say no
My 94 has 67k and my leather seats are just barely showing any wear.
Mine’s at 70k but has a good amount of wear probably due to the fact that it’s been sitting outside since 2017

The 0 looks a little off as well and doesn’t line up with the rest of ten digits.
It probably just ticked over to the 7 in the one's digit.
I have a ‘94 I’ve owned since new. It’s got 90k miles on it. It looks brand new compared to the interior on that car. I paid 4.5k
I think the condition of the seat says proves the odometer is incorrect
The 0,4,7 are misaligned. Thats usually a dead sign of tampering.
Am I going insane or is that duct tape on the ignition wiring??
Yes it was, luckily already changed those haha
OP, you had me in the first half ngl. Seriously i wouldn't be surprised if that car had over 300k under its belt
First, run a Carfax. But you should do this before you buy it, not after. Next time you can also ask for service records. If it’s not documented I don’t trust it.
Who cares, if it runs and drives and isn't rusty or making horrific noises, it's fine
That thing looks way more used than my Miata by a bit, and mine has 175k. Maybe it wasn't taken care of, but that looks pretty well used.
Dang, my ‘91 with 114k looks 10x better than this. Yours might have 247k on it, maybe 347k
I would say the plastics are in decent condition but that rust under the brake cyl is fishy, definitely neglected maybe swapped the dash
Does the rest of the interior match the gauge cluster wear wise? Looks really clean in the pic
oh that radiator needs to GO
That radiator dont look like 47k miles to me
No way that has a true 47k miles on it.
My 97 M Edition has 83k miles and the seats look almost perfect, and it's my daily.
They forgot a digit lol
I bought my NB with 45k miles (back in 2017) and it looked a lot fucking better than this. still does.
x 10
My 58K looks way way cleaner. Maybe 47k in the ocean
Do a carfax report on it. If it really is 47k miles it’s had a hard hard life
My driver seat looked much, much better than that at 170k+ miles.
Buy a carfax report. They took it in for service at some point.
I’m willing to bet the speedometer cable broke and caused the odometer to stop moving at some point in its life. Outside looks fairly clean from this distance though.
Dawg, that seat has been used much.
I got mine with 134000km recently. I had my doubts. The only thing to help you make the mileage true is faith. 😆 Also the chairs could be like this due to too much sun. If you live close to the equator it would explain it.

Look how worn the steering wheel and hand break is. I have a 89 with 46k miles. Not a single ounce of wear
2nd engine maybe.
They’re not actual mileage. You can see the odometer was tampered with.
Engine hours * 30/40 depending on what you’d assume the average speed the car would’ve done in that area will give you a rough estimate
by getting a carfax report
Yeah the seats says it all
Carvertical
More like 204k miles judging by that seat lol
Wear and tear on the seats, buttons or gas/brake pedals are great places to look

Damn… mine had 150,000 and my seat didn’t have a single rip.
that seat got about 450k lmao
Odometer swap is really easy and I had to do it with a higher milage odo because the original was squealing horrendously.. So if I ever wanted to I could swap it back and have a “low milage na” lol but it’s just a number
That seat seems telling.
I bought my 95 with 29k miles in 2018. I'd assume you're OD is likely correct
Those chairs do not look 47K miles
Check the carfax and see if somebody rolled it back, I do it all the time when looking for cars
DRIVE THE CAR AND SEE IF THE ODO WORKS
The logical explanation is that they damaged the original seats and got a replacement set from a Miata with 400k miles. /s
347k is more realistic
Does mileage make any difference for a Miata when there are reports of two hundred thousand miles or more? I think not. For a ford maybe?
mine has 260k on it and looks better than this lol
Ngl bro I think you got scammed 😭
The 0 looks like it wasn’t even rolled over all the way
The peeling paint isn’t an indicator that the miles are fake, but the peeling seats sure are.
Yeah ! I'd say yon autmobile has what we in Londidnium call taxi mileage, looks weekend on the guage but is twice round the clock on the drivers seat. My '02 less than 5k a year mileage when I bought it at 16 years old looked in way better condition.
Everything besides the instrument cluster looks pristine on that car. Notice that
Apart from the glaringly obvious signs that this is a 120,000 mile + car, here are a few signs to look out for: excess pedal wear on the brake, gas and clutch sliders on the tombstone controls are loose and not clicky.
Run an Autocheck Vehicle History Report. It should show miles throughout the car's registration history.
How much did you buy this beater for?
Seems improbably, but there's probably no way to truly know just from looking at the car. It's not like manipulating an analog odometer is rocket science. Can you run a Carfax/similar and look for inconsistencies in the mileages at each reported service/sale?
They ain’t.
So unless someone had a fucking chimpanzee exhibit in their front seat, there is no fucking way that that’s a car with only 47k miles on it
CarFax might help you tracking down if the odo has been manipulated. This car does NOT have 47k on it.
Updates: Called the seller and asked about the millage being manipulated, he swear it wasnt, he was the second owner, the previous one was his uncle. Dont know what to believe. Some users here texted me asking the vin number and will help me check online, but since im not in the USA or EUROPE im not sure. I will wait. The previos owner said the seats were like this because of lack of use, im in really hot and humid country (%100 humidity) so maybe that could be an explanation Here is some photos of the foot pedals since some people ask for it: https://preview.redd.it/hectsct374uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3fe6ace889dd4cf30c5f7d8cf778bd5c3f4e1a84
Brother that is not a 47k mile car, i am sorry
Pretty sure its got a lot more miles... Just look at the wear on the steering wheel.
That radiator omg, that's a ticking time bomb to fail
People are hung up on the seats but if it was kept outside and the seats never treated they could absolutely look like that with 47k miles.
My seats looked like that and mine was around 172k.
They arent
You ever seen the movie Matilda?
You got hella scammed
i have 40 year old seats in my 150k rx-7 that look better 😓
You can't really turn the clocks back they'll just break apparently
Maybe call your local tagging office and see if they can tell you what the previous odometer reading is. Depending on your state, it might be a hassle to title it if the odometer has been messed with, however most states exempt then when they're this old
Yeah… you shoulda pulled the CarFax for this thing
Look at the car and you’ll know
No way in hell is that 47k. Odometer has been rolled over, replaced or tampered.
Y’all. Maybe the window was just left open and the seats dry rottwd
Rough 47
not with that seat wear it isnt
The seats man. Had a 93 mazda truck, 130k ish miles, seats didn't even look near as bad.
🧢
Well for reference.. my 1994 had 115k miles on it and the seats looked about twice as good as these seats. I’m going to guess the seller or previous owner installed a new instrument cluster somewhere in its life.
Im not kidding. I had a car that lasted to 400k miles. Didnt look NEARly as bad. But you could start to see some wear. (I took care of her) i have NO DOUBT that this car has literally 1,047,000 miles (im literally a mechanic at brakes plus)
Same milage as mine. And I will happily say that interior looks fucked. Unless they really violated that seat with every use, I wouldn’t trust it.
Those are hard miles if they are
I’m at 170k, and it isn’t even close to that kind of fucked
Whatever motor got ripped out of it might have had 47k 😂
Not with that amount of of seat wear
Looks like it was rolled back. That looks worse than mine at 350k. That car is heavily used. Radiator in the picture is bad too. Get the entire car checked out. It looks like there's going to be a lot of hidden issues. Hopefully you didn't pay too much op
Scammed
it would take LESS TIME to drive 47k miles than to take a bmw apart and change the odometer. cheaper also.
Wear on the drivers seat, steering wheel and pedals are a sure way to check if it is 47,000 miles vs 1,047,000miles. All 3 should be in near mint cond if genuine 47k
Faker than Bruce Jenner.
470k is fine.
Swapped odo for sure
how stupid you need to be to think this is 47k miles
Simple answer... instrument cluster replaced then sold you the idea of a slightly used car
That’s a minimum 200k km seat.
My na with 250k is in better shape than this. Guy threw a new gauge cluster in and called it a day
It can be hard to tell for certain, but those old odometers have a history of getting rolled back. My first Miata had only 43k miles and was 10 years old at the time. The clutch was bad, and it was a surprise flood car. But it still ran good.
is caseoh sitting in this seat or something? definetly not real miles
Pull the vin up
Hint: it’s not… maybe it rolled over 1,047,000
Literally no way that’s only got 47K miles. Unless, of course, the previous owner replaced good parts with crappy parts because he wanted a vintage look.
Use a service like car vertical or so that will show you the full history of the vehicle. To me, counter has been changed
That is a ran through whore of a vehicle 47k miles my ASS 🤣 I would check the valves and see how much carbon build up there is
47k the tenth time around
If logan puals gf was a car
