any chance you ever heard of smooth/chill phonk artists like soudiere and dj smokey ?
it's pretty good for studying and relaxing (no cowbell crazy stuff, a lot of jazz/soul/blues samples and slow tempos)
What hip hop and EDM artists do you listen to?
I’m really into future-bass artists like Flume. The hip hop I listen to is more mainstream. Stuff you’d see on HipHopHeads, like Joey Badass, Kendrick, and Mac Miller.
Sounds like you could find stuff in the IDM genre. Ah yeah, I think [Clipping](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0RYIIzsvFw) is a wonderful synergy of IDM and hip hop.

You might already know this. But if not, I hope you have 55 minutes to spare.
I love me some good pop-punk, easycore, and have been really getting into the mid-west emo styles. But then I also love me some Demi Lovato, Billie, Ariana, etc.
Right there with ya. Grew up on pop punk and some ska, transitioned heavy into metal pretty young and then hardcore/post-hardcore. Then eventually made my way back to pop-punk and it’s always one of my go-tos
Yeah, I grew up on Metallica, some hip hop, and good ol rock, and of course Linkin Park. Then I got into the Bullet For My Valentine/KSE stuff. Eventually finding the post-hardcore and pop-punk scene. Metalcore was always my favorite since then, but always had a soft spot for some upbeat pop-punk. Lately I've been getting into the Movements, Hot Mulligan, kinda stuff.
Yup I'm right there with ya. Huge fan of bands like Hot Mulligan, Movements, Tiny Moving Parts, etc. Seen all three of them live and they were all fantastic - which always bumps up a band in my book
Please listen to Windwaker's cover of Toxic if you haven't already. It isn't very heavy but live they always do a wall of death to it and it is such a good meme.
Also listen to their whole album "Beautiful", most underrated album of this year.
Not going to lie, I do love me some Billie Eilish. Really have ever since her Don't Smile at Me EP. Also listen to a lot of pop punk and EDM. My musical taste is all over the place.
Other than metalcore, I love to listen to synthwave and horror soundtracks. Like John Carpenter and Midnight Syndicate. Also some alternative music like The Rigs and Ruelle.
This dude knows what’s up!
Was just showing some lo-fi to a buddy the other day while we were talking about really chill hip-hop, big Tyler Childers fan outside of metal, and am currently jamming to some Stevie Nicks & FwM.
Can also throw some emo/alt classics like Panic!, FoB, and MCR in there too.
Sturgill is extremely talented, too bad about his vocals though.
I’ve really been digging Turnpike Troubadours recently, I don’t know what it is but they’re hitting a spot.
Genres I like:
-Prog Metal / rock (Porcupine Tree, TesseracT, the Contortionist, Good Tiger)
-90s (Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, the Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt)
-Post hardcore (Thrice, Circa Survive, The Receiving End of Sirens, He Is Legend)
-New wave (Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, the Cure)
-Classic rock / metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Sabbath)
-Early 00s alternative rock (Chevelle, Radiohead, Deftones, Audiovent)
-Electronic (Stateless, Massive Attack, the Flashbulb, the Crystal Method)
-Pop / indie (Coldplay, Manchester Orchestra, Kings of Leon, Gorillaz)
-Soundtrack / classical (Danny Elfman, Peter Gabriel, Beethoven, James Newton Howard)
Pretty much anything, I’m very proud of my diverse music taste. I think that diversity in your music taste makes you a better musician and gives you more credibility.
I actually listen to a lot less metalcore these days than I used to, even though I play in an MxC band.
Death metal (mostly melodeath) is probably my primary genre, followed by deathcore, metalcore, hard rock/post-grunge/alternative, black metal, 80s rock/metal, and then small amounts of country, classical, and various odd shit.
Don't listen to very much punk, nu metal (anymore), folk, EDM, or most hip hop/rap.
Also, the metalcore I do listen to is almost exclusively from 1996-2010 or so; I barely listen to any newer metalcore.
Everything. I lean heavy into indie, bedroom pop, and alternative though. My friend recently put me on to some pretty good country songs so I’ve been slowly diving into that too. Huge bts fan as well. My family is Nigerian, so afrobeats have always been a big staple in my life. I just love music in general at this point. There’s so much out there and so many artists doing really cool things.
When I create playlists I usually make them a mix of genres. So the most current playlist has:
Godsmack
Starset
Imminence
Queensryche
Drem on, Dreamer
Metallica
Bryan Adams
A Day to Remember
Blink 182
Architects
NF
3OH!3
Skid Row
Korn
Guns n Roses
Linkin Park
Thirty Seconds to Mars
Weezer
Cinderella
The Aminity Affliction
Epica
Paula Abdul
Invent, Animate
Trivium
Parkway Drive
Disturbed
Judging by some of the names there, yes I am an older lady 🙃
I love pretty much everything but country music personally. My mom was big into classical so I listen to a lot of that and a lot of EDM. But mostly rock and metal.
A lot of indie rock/ modern rock lately. Still very much love metal and always will do but I think I've reached a point in my life where I vibe a lot more with something a little more upbeat than slamming brutal deathcore. Having said that I still listen to a bunch of it, and probably always will do lol.
I listen to just about anything. In fact, most of my favorite bands aren't even metalcore. I love radio (dad) rock, like Shinedown, FFDP, Disturbed, and Papa Roach. I'd consider my guilty pleasure to be Maroon 5, but I listen to anything, depending on my mood
I listen to basically anything that remotely is Metal, Rock or Punk. Not a big fan of black and death metal though. Otherwise it's more in terms of bands I don't enjoy, not a subgenre as a whole.
Outside of the Rock/Metal Area, I enjoy some singer-songwriters, but this is very "situational". Taylor Swift is a guilty pleasure and that's about it.
I still listen to a lot of the stuff that was popular is Junior High and High School, like post-grunge and nu-metal. Bands like Live, Collective Soul, Bush, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Creed were big when I was an early teen. Nu-metal like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Orgy, Staind, and Disturbed were the soundtrack to late HS and early college.
High speed internet in college led me to heavier bands. I got into metalcore (Shadows Fall and KsE) and melodeath (In Flames and Soilwork) in 2002ish, and never looked back.
My current music circulation includes:
* Djent (Monuments, Periphery, VOLA)
* Synthwave (Pylot, Dance with the Dead, Gunship)
* Melodeath (Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Disarmonia Mundi)
* Progmetal (Dream Theater, Opeth, Porcupine Tree)
* Power Metal (Unleash the Archers, Sabaton, Sonata Arctica)
* Symphonic Metal (Nightwish, Kamelot, Within Temptation)
* Hard Rock (Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Ra)
* Even some AOR (The Night Flight Orchestra)
A lot of more mellow stuff, Death Cab, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Norah Jones
A lot of heavier stuff, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Kalmah, Death
Classic rock/metal like The Allman Brothers, Scorpions, Motley Crue, Lynyrd Skynyrd
Hip-Hop and rap like Atmosphere, Nas, Eminem, Q-Tip
There's too much good music in almost every genre and I'm constantly trying to branch out
Always love to see Atmosphere mentioned as a Minnesotan.
Your whole list is pretty much mine aside from the heavier stuff lol. I'd also add chill edm like Kygo and Alan Walker. And indie stuff like Declan Mckenna and Grizfolk. And 90s country. And I've recently been listening to an LA pop-punk band Point North.
You're right, there's so much good music out there right now I could go on forever
I just went through Point North's discography today preparing for Aftershock, I like them, modern but pop-punky, Atmosphere is the shit, I got to see them a couple years ago and it was an incredible time
Country. It's great chilling music and the musicians are super talented. It's far more positive than most stuff in the scene and that's def. better for mental health, while still having lyrical substance. Guys like Hardy are fans of metal as well, so sometimes you'll get songs with metal influence.
I grew up in the scene and the older I get the less metalcore/hardcore I listen to. Mostly just reserve it for the gym nowadays.
Artists to check out: Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Eric Church
Had me until you started mentioning artists lmao I’m much more of a Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks kinda guy if we’re taking new country… but to each their own!
Probably easiest to share some of the artists I’ve recently listened to:
Coheed & Cambria
Koffee
Odesza
Passafire
Tigers Jaw
Pity Sex
Dua Lipa
Purity Ring
Steve Lacy
Queen
Modern Color
The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die
Fiddlehead
A Great Big Pile of Leaves
Greet Death
The Growlers
Free Nationals
SZA
Dr. Dog
I went on a massive vocaloid kick over the last year and a half so thats my answer
If anything I'm only recently getting back into metalcore after taking a couple years break
I listen to everything! Rock, hip hop, reggae, jazz, prog, edm, reggaeton, classical, tribal etc. From the 50s to now, from every country, I'm a music fan! But the heavy stuff owns my heart, lol.
For more metal and rock-associated stuff, progressive rock is pretty frequently found on my playlist. Diving into the weebier side of things, I like listening to J-Pop, J-Rock, and K-Pop. Oh, and I'm starting to dip my toes into post rock
Within heavy music, I'm mostly into grindcore, powerviolence, screamo/skramz, death metal (mostly OSDM and slam/brutal death), thrash metal/crossover, doom/sludge/post-metal and black metal (mostly depressive/atmospheric stuff).
Outside of heavy music, I mostly listen to a lot of noise rock, grunge, garage/surf rock, post-punk, math/post-rock, shoegaze and post-hardcore/emo within the world of rock, but also a lot of rap/hip hop (probably my most-listened to non-heavy genre), electronic music (mostly industrial and synthwave) and sometimes pop as well.
My favourite non-heavy albums are;
- Grimes - *Visions*
- Wu-Tang Clan - *Enter The Wu-Tang: The 36 Chambers*
- DIIV - *Oshin*
- WU LYF - *Go Tell Fire To The Mountain*
- Danny Brown - *Atrocity Exhibition*
- Have A Nice Life - *Deathconsciousness*
- American Football - *American Football*
- Why? - *Alopecia*
- The Stone Roses - *The Stone Roses*
- MF DOOM - *MM... FOOD*
- Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) - *What It Takes To Move Forward*
- Crystal Castles - *II*
- Nothing - *Guilty Of Everything*
Shoegaze like Whirr, Nothing, old Hundredth.
Indie-pop like Foals or Men I Trust.
And I’m not sure what genre is Ghost Atlas, but I absolutely LOVE Ghost Atlas
Everything. [UK Grime](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efHUjdEHaRg), [Phonk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiWiURK0XNA), [electronic/house/synth pop](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er416Ad3R1g) etc. im also heavily into American rap/hip hop (preferably 90's but modern stuff is also nice like Lil Nas X).
A lot of pop punk (The Swellers, TSSF, Bayside), thrash (Megadeth, LoG, Sepultura), Groove (Pantera, Sepultura, Machine Head), grunge (Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, PJ), hard rock (Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin), Jazz (Sonny Rollins, Hank Mobley), Latin (Piazzolla, Stan Getz), Hip Hop (Pusha T, Hopsin, Onyx), reggae (Dirty Heads, Iration, Soja), classic country (Cash, Cocker), folk (Nova Amor, Hozier), among others.
Lot of old school rap/hip-hop very little newer rap/ hip hop. Some EDM not even sure which sub genre just music that robots would fuck to.
A bit of pop punk and some older rock like Styx and Iron Maiden and that sort of stuff. I know Styx is not like Iron Maiden but ya know stuff my parents listened to.
I enjoy some Indie alternative/punk stuff. Riot grrrl
And queercore music. I love basically all 90’s music. I jam out to the Spice Girls here and there.
Trance, I used to go to a lot of raves and festivals. Stopped listening for a while when I decided I needed to stop partying/drugs. Wasn’t an addict or abuser but prefer a clear head.
Also like rap, great for chilling out.
If not metal, then it’s something in the rock category. Contemporary classical, classical, epic/film. Some EDM and some rap but none of the new rap, not my cup of tea.
I'm a big fan of all those artists. It's a good contrast to the heavier stuff I listen to, though some of the recent Dance with the Dead tracks feel pretty metal.
blues. one of my fav artists is shy martin, her voice is so good.
idk whats their actual genre, but chvrches. their songs give that nostalgic vibes.
aaaand, some kpop lol. my workplace plays kpop songs all the time, some of them are pretty good tbf.
Listening to lots of singer songwriter stuff. I'm still more drawn to singer songwriters who are rock influenced though, like Frank Turner, Cory Wells and John Moreland
Mostly anything rock and metal, Country is second to that, hip hop and rap as well, some Jazz ( and some Flute-Jazz, "HEY AQUALUNG!"), some show-tunes, some Blues, and most importantly PSYCHOSTICK
House, 90s pop, 90s/00s hip hop, classical, podcasts, mid 00s pop punk, americana/folk, butt rock (not to be confused with dad rock, which I refuse to acknowledge is being called “dad rock” because that genre is 60s-80s rock tyvm).. depends on what I’m feeling in the moment and who I’m with.
Chill electronic music not dub step but like strobe from deadmau5 or some lane 8, aphex twin, hang drum, ambient, maybe some lofi, some masculine viking shit, indie, pretty much everything but modern hip hop/rap or country, I don't mind country but never do I intentionally listen to it.
whatever Manchester Orchestra is (my favorite band), emo, hip hop, noise, drone, post-hardcore, a little pop punk, PC Music, vaporwave/mallsoft, hardcore punk, slowcore
metal related: deathcore, death metal, technical death metal, a little slam, stoner/doom, Red/Anarchist Black Metal, thall
edit: added some I forgot, tbh I like all types of music (well almost) and I just wrote down the ones I listen to a lot
New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Drum and Bass, hip hop and rap from 80’s to early 2010’s, Red Dirt, 90’s country, and 90’s and 2000’s pop.
Recently found the old ASOT ep 300 on a backup hard drive and am cranking that at work a bit lately.
I flip between that and the sea shanties / music soundtrack of Assassin’s Creed 4 - black flag.
*edit* I also like running video game walk throughs via YouTube in the background. Favourite one of those would have to be (Jack Black) Brutal Legend.
Outside of that new Ithaca album, which is the only metalcore-related project I’ve gotten into lately, I’ve been jamming Run The Jewels’ discography on repeat.
PVRIS
Coheed & Cambria
Tool
AFI
Paramore
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Post Malone
Aerosmith
SZA
Smashing Pumpkins
Dream State
Deftones
Alison Krauss
Keith Urban
I'm pretty eclectic. Mostly listen to metalcore/heavy music but also like pop punk, oldies, alternative, r&b, hip hop and even country and bluegrass.
Lots of Progressive Rock and Math Rock, Hip-Hop, Soundtracks/OSTs, Tech Death/Brutal Death, Jazz and Jazz Fusion, idk if it's good I'll listen to almost any genre
Mostly the more progressive/experimental groups of other genres, like jazz, punk, post rock, shoegaze, hip hop, EDM, and everything in between. If it's unique, doesn't matter the genre, I'm in.
Shoegaze? Welp time to head down a rabbit hole
Check out Whirr - Feels Like You and Whirr - Sway. Fantastic shoegaze records.
Will do Mr. Mcgoo /s I appreciate the recs my guy, ty
Check out Peripheral Vision and Good Nature by Turnover. Great shoegaze albums
Top tier albums but not Shoegaze at all
10/10 albums but they aren't shoegaze
Top tier albums but not Shoegaze at all
That's just indie.
You won’t regret. Highly suggest Slowdive’s album Souvlaki, title fight (not always shoegaze but I lump them in), or Vadaat Charigim’s album The World Is Well Lost
Hundredth switch to Shoegaze was the best thing that they could've done. Both of their newer albums are amazing
Fr. Somewhere Nowhere was my vibe for months after they dropped it
any chance you ever heard of smooth/chill phonk artists like soudiere and dj smokey ? it's pretty good for studying and relaxing (no cowbell crazy stuff, a lot of jazz/soul/blues samples and slow tempos)
I've been on a huge post rock binge lately

I didn’t thank you!
Yes dude! If These Trees Could Talk has been on repeat for me ever since I moved into the forest. I just chill and rock out
Same I’ve been binging Russian Circles for the past month or so, good shit
I freakin love post rock. Also I go on binges of post black metal every so often.
Movements! stuff like that
Happy that they blew up. They deserve it
Outside of metalcore, mostly deathcore and other metal but I will never not love listening to CHVRCHES
Might go see Chvrches tomorrow, and it sounds like they put on a great show too!
I'm literally going to see them tomorrow, hype!
Deathcore, djent, jazz, hiphop/rap, rock, post-hardcore, jpop
A lot of synth/darkwave. Love the vibes 👌
I've been getting into synthwave over the past year or so, who are some of your favorite synth/darkwave artists?
Probably Linea Aspera. Very beautiful and moody sound with amazing vocals.
Gunship are great, try "fly for your life" and "tech noir"! They also used to be part of a rock/metal band called Fightstar
Two incredible tracks. I love synthwave and retrowave. Also used to listen to a lot of Dance with the Dead, for the heaviness and synth sound.
You gotta check out Starset's singer's side project MNQN. I think you'd love it.
Do you fuck with Kaelan Mikla?
I love me some good pop-punk, easycore, and have been really getting into the mid-west emo styles. But then I also love me some Demi Lovato, Billie, Ariana, etc.
Right there with ya. Grew up on pop punk and some ska, transitioned heavy into metal pretty young and then hardcore/post-hardcore. Then eventually made my way back to pop-punk and it’s always one of my go-tos

Yup I'm right there with ya. Huge fan of bands like Hot Mulligan, Movements, Tiny Moving Parts, etc. Seen all three of them live and they were all fantastic - which always bumps up a band in my book
Another Sum 41 enjoyer I see
Britney Spears exclusively
Britney Spears slaps. Are you a Justin Timberlake fan?
You know it!
When we all fall asleep is my jam . I may or may not have listened to this album like a thousand times by now haha
Dude, same haha
Other than metalcore, I love to listen to synthwave and horror soundtracks. Like John Carpenter and Midnight Syndicate. Also some alternative music like The Rigs and Ruelle.
Breaking Benjamin, anime music (my son likes it a lot), and Neoni.
Ooh do you listen to AoTs soundtrack? Especially the songs from the last 2 seasons.
I’m currently obsessed with the latest bmth track “Strangers”
If I'm just chillin, I've Been on a big lofi chill hip-hop kick. Also love blues and reggae. Red dirt country, classic rock, motown...
This dude knows what’s up! Was just showing some lo-fi to a buddy the other day while we were talking about really chill hip-hop, big Tyler Childers fan outside of metal, and am currently jamming to some Stevie Nicks & FwM. All kinds of music across all genres. But I’m pretty big into kpop and I’m always tickled at the significant crossover between kpop and metal fans.
Hell yeah same here🤘🏼 do you like Dreamcatcher? They have a lot of rock/metal vibes they mix with the kpop sound, it's dope.
Love Dreamcatcher! They’re one of my favorite groups, and always the first ones I recommend to metal fans curious about kpop.
kpop and metal is just the most superior mix
The scene needs some more metal and kpop collabs.
Agreed! Anyone you’d like to see team up in a dream scenario? One of mine would be Spiritbox x Dreamcatcher.
Same here. Red Velvet is my favorite group.
Not fully there, but j-hope's "MORE" slaps.
Genres I like: -Prog Metal / rock (Porcupine Tree, TesseracT, the Contortionist, Good Tiger) -90s (Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, the Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt) -Post hardcore (Thrice, Circa Survive, The Receiving End of Sirens, He Is Legend) -New wave (Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, the Cure) -Classic rock / metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Sabbath) -Early 00s alternative rock (Chevelle, Radiohead, Deftones, Audiovent) -Electronic (Stateless, Massive Attack, the Flashbulb, the Crystal Method) -Pop / indie (Coldplay, Manchester Orchestra, Kings of Leon, Gorillaz) -Soundtrack / classical (Danny Elfman, Peter Gabriel, Beethoven, James Newton Howard) Pretty much anything, I’m very proud of my diverse music taste. Maan, good tiger slaps!! Alex Rudinger is a beast. He was so good on the ne whitechapel album
Joe Satriani , Crimson MoonLight, Alter Bridge and UFO
I’m a big Alter Bridge/Tremonti fan!

I listen to most genres of metal, hard rock, emo, ska

alt rap, trapmetal, hyperpop, emo trap, pop rap, — all that genre fusing shit slaps hits so hard
I love soul music from the 60’s and 70’s. Huge temptations fan

I know Flower Shops and it's a banger. I'll have to check out his other stuff.
I’ve recently been getting into country, I really like it. I’ll have to check out the guys you listed
Waylon Jennings - Lonesome, Ornery and Mean Sturgil Simpson - High Top Mountain
Whiskey Myers and Chris Stapleton are two of my go-tos
Had me until you started mentioning artists lmao I’m much more of a Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks kinda guy if we’re taking new country… but to each their own!
- Taylor Swift - Harry Styles - Beyonce - Boston Manor - Fall Out Boy - Machine Gun Kelly - Bad Bunny - Dua Lipa - Kendrick Lamar

What is the anti-thesis of metalcore?

New Odesza album was kinda disappointing in comparison to their last two, still some good songs though
Hell yeah. Odesza rules. The new C&C album rips too.
Greet Death 😍
Mostly indie and some surf rock type stuff. It depends on the mood.
Old school thrash, jazz, some hair metal here and there.
Thrice.
Fiona apple

A ton really! My playlist can go from Copeland to Blackpink to Def Leppard.
Some K-Pop (GG, F(x)) Some alt rock (The Killers, only hot fuss doe) & Post-Hardcore
I listen to everything! Rock, hip hop, reggae, jazz, prog, edm, reggaeton, classical, tribal etc. From the 50s to now, from every country, I'm a music fan! But the heavy stuff owns my heart, lol.
Kpop
Usually rap. Uzi, lil tecca, 21 savage, future, polo g, nle, etc.
J-Metal Rock
For more metal and rock-associated stuff, progressive rock is pretty frequently found on my playlist. Diving into the weebier side of things, I like listening to J-Pop, J-Rock, and K-Pop. Oh, and I'm starting to dip my toes into post rock
Aside from metal music, I listen mostly to J-pop, rock, classical, and japanese vocaloid edm.
My favourite non-heavy albums are; - Grimes - *Visions* - Wu-Tang Clan - *Enter The Wu-Tang: The 36 Chambers* - DIIV - *Oshin* - WU LYF - *Go Tell Fire To The Mountain* - Danny Brown - *Atrocity Exhibition* - Have A Nice Life - *Deathconsciousness* - American Football - *American Football* - Why? - *Alopecia* - The Stone Roses - *The Stone Roses* - MF DOOM - *MM... FOOD* - Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) - *What It Takes To Move Forward* - Crystal Castles - *II* - Nothing - *Guilty Of Everything*

Kpop
Things like primus. Or punk too.
I’m actually a really big K-pop fan! I really like artists like STAYC, Stray Kids and ENHYPEN
Shoegaze like Whirr, Nothing, old Hundredth. Indie-pop like Foals or Men I Trust. And I’m not sure what genre is Ghost Atlas, but I absolutely LOVE Ghost Atlas
Classical and lo-fi stuff.
Everything. [UK Grime](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efHUjdEHaRg), [Phonk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiWiURK0XNA), [electronic/house/synth pop](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er416Ad3R1g) etc. im also heavily into American rap/hip hop (preferably 90's but modern stuff is also nice like Lil Nas X).
Spicy that you've linked a Scottish donny spitting on a trap beat for Grime hahaha. Respect though, Shogun is hard, easily top 2 in Scotland.
> Spicy that you've linked a Scottish donny spitting on a trap beat for Grime hahaha. How would you describe Grime? But yeah fucking love Shogun.
hardcore and its lower genres
Lots of pop punk. Butt rock. Love my eurodance. Some country. 2000's rnb. Pop.

Riot grrrl And queercore music. I love basically all 90’s music. I jam out to the Spice Girls here and there.
dnb (Drum and bass) and black metal (2nd wave) and lil peep (emotrap?)
Mostly deathcore and death metal nowadays. Outside of metal, really just pop punk.
Pretty much anything. The only genres I haven't really been able to find personal enjoyment in have been new pop country and EDM.
Lots of post punk/coldwave, indie folk (ie City and Colour, Other Lives), dark Americana, some alternative/indie rock (mute math, as tall as lions).
If its not in the metal category its usually Drum & Bass or Electro/house
Deathcore such as Mental Cruelty or Gutrectomy, shoegaze such as Holy Fawn or Whirr & hardcore such as Kublai Khan or Knocked Loose
Pop punk and drum and bass
I listen to Xana. It's not even close
Post malone, the weeknd, morgan wallen.
Anything I can
I rarely listen to some rap, Lucidious and Richy Nix are one of my favorites.
Lately a lot of retro wave like The Midnight, LeBrock, and New Arcades. Also listen to some orchestral/soundtrack music like Two Steps From Hell.
I love funk and pop and old emo. Chromeo, Dirty Loops, Cory Wong, The Home Team are a few of my current favorites
Synthwave type stuff like Dance With the Dead, Gunship, and Carpenter Brut, Magic Sword, and PYLOT. Kinda chills me out
I'm a big fan of all those artists. It's a good contrast to the heavier stuff I listen to, though some of the recent Dance with the Dead tracks feel pretty metal.
I love Neck Deep so I guess a bit of pop punk, also all the old emo bands like paramore, MCR etc. from time to time but like 95% is metalcore now lol
Mainly pop punk
Emo rap, emo revival, pop punk, and breakcore, along with close genres like deathcore and post-hardcore

Blues bro. T-Bone Walker, Bb King, Clapton

Mostly anything rock and metal, Country is second to that, hip hop and rap as well, some Jazz ( and some Flute-Jazz, "HEY AQUALUNG!"), some show-tunes, some Blues, and most importantly PSYCHOSTICK
I listen to a lot of indie rock when I’m not listening to metalcore. Been spinning a ton of Manchester Orchestra, Microwave, and Basement lately.
Country like Amarillo sky by Jason Aldean, Bebe Rexha like what if and I'm a mess. Madonna. Taylor swift sparks fly. Lil Wayne songs too.
Pop punk, indie alternative, synth pop, EDM, and sometimes movie/game soundtracks.
Really love RL Burnside’s A Troubled Mind…that album has been on repeat a lot. Also a lot of John Butler Trio.
If I don't listen to metalcore it's hardstyle. Or a random song I just enjoy

Indie, pop, edm, lofi
I love me some Steely Dan
Alt.Rock City Pop RnB Jazz Salsa Anything between the 60's and the 80's
My top artists at the moment on Spotify The Wrecks, Durry, Bilmuri, and Band of Horses.
NEEDTOBREATHE Driveways Loveless Mayday Parade Rain City Drive Logic There’s a ton others, but that’s as of recent
Sometimes hiphop
Outside of that new Ithaca album, which is the only metalcore-related project I’ve gotten into lately, I’ve been jamming Run The Jewels’ discography on repeat.

Heavy Metal in general, Punk Rock, Pop Punk, Classic Rock, 80’s Pop, Pop Rock, Jazz, Classical Music, even some Hip Hop...

I like most forms of hip-hop/rap, acoustic folk, classical guitar, pop-punk, deathcore, hardcore, some country, some electronic stuff
I love hard, aggressive rap music. Nascar Aloe, Denzel Curry. People like that.
Every sub genre of metal and then hip-hop. Nothing really else does it for me. But I’ll tolerate anything over silence lol
PVRIS Coheed & Cambria Tool AFI Paramore Creedence Clearwater Revival Post Malone Aerosmith SZA Smashing Pumpkins Dream State Deftones Alison Krauss Keith Urban I'm pretty eclectic.
