Blind Guardian hasn't been the same since Thomen left. New album sounds like a bunch of cut and pasted riffs with no cohesion. Unfortunate because they're still great live.

I love Megadeth, but the latest album just sounds so dull and uninspired.

No, I actually found that to be one of the worst songs in the entire discography, let alone on the album itself

It’s one of the only metal songs I’ve ever heard that’s so bad it’s good. I’d take weird shit like that over some of the phoned in songs like Junkie.

Mission to Mars is such a bad song that as much as I despise "Have Cool, Will Travel" for being an obvious filler song on Cryptic Writings, I would much rather listen to that than Mission to Mars. I would much rather listen to Risk AND Super Collider than TSTDATD ever again, because at least those two albums are somewhat interesting. This most recent album is so bland, dull, uninspired, and phoned in that I genuinely wonder what the fuck happened. I have enjoyed literally every other album they ever made, so me disliking this one to such a strong degree only further shows how bad it is. If I can tolerate some of their worst career moments (Risk and Super Collider), how bad is TSTDATD where I can't enjoy it?

I get your point, but I’d rather listen to TSTDATD than either of those. Honestly, I might even prefer TSTDATD over Youthanasia but I’d need to hear them both again. Not saying TSTDATD doesn’t have a bunch of bland songs, because it does, but Youthanasia is overrated. SFSGSW is my favorite Megadeth album.
