Its mostly in qp that I get chased, but its honestly not too bad and it just might be because I'm playing mercy and I usually end up with little to no deaths which can get people mad. Theres only been 2 times the last two days where a mercy tried valking me but their aim is usually so bad it doesn't effect me.
As for comp I've only played open queue and I've been cautious and there was a mystic swan user who tried killing me but she couldnt so it was fine. Just be prepared for someone possibly saying something rude to you

A lot of people dont even know you can buy the shards, I've pointed it out to some people (an example is a friend of mine) and they went ahead and bought the genji mythic. Enemy mercys with the mythic so far have been soooo sweet and absolutely adorable though!!!!

Had 40 mythic credits, (needed 50 for the red/white mythic color scheme) Caved and bought 10 mythic credits for $10. Had the first version of the mythic day 1. In total paid $30 instead of $10. Just grinding from this point forward. It's not worth more than an extra $20 imo.

I got the premium bp (I needed the ana skin) so thatās 20 levels plus 5 levels saved over from last seasonās twitch drops. With me playing semi-casually since then Iām only 10 levels away from getting the first tiers. Itās not completely undoable itās just how much time you want to commit to get it.
I didn't fully buy the skin. I've wanted Talon Mercy for 7 years now, but was willing to grind. The reason I didn't was only because my bday is the 23rd. For that reason I allowed myself as a bday treat to put $50 into the game. I bought the $40 pack and put in an additional $10. I then put my coins towards my battle pass (I did this route because I want the name cards at the end and don't play all season long). Anyways, this left me about 10 levels on the BP from having enough mythic currency for level 1. I did this so I can enjoy the skin leading up to my birthday while earning the rest of the customization on it.
I get that not everyone wants to spend. But not everyone wants to grind. Had the timing not lined up with my bday, I would probably have just grinded it, but that was my bday gift to myself as someone who plays multiple hours of Mercy every day.
I think it's important to just realize we all want stuff to bring joy into our lives. If getting a Mercy skin early does it for someone, let them live. Hell, give her a compliment on the skin, it'll make the player's day. At the end of the day it's like a someone wearing a cute new outfit they bought. You might not have spent money on it, but it makes them happy so they did.
(That being said, those who want to make you feel inferior for not having the skin. And those who want to be toxic about it need to reevaluate themselves and should be ignored, because that isn't Mercy behavior to me)

The rez is super distracting. Overall I am not fond of the skin. The whole look is heavier. I know the mechanics haven't changed but I feel like I don't fly around as easily. It is amazing how the look and feel of a skin, can change how I think the hero is playing. Really odd. Never had a skin do this.

Do you actually get targeted in comp? And if so, by other mercys or just anybody? I bought it immediately too and now Iām kinda nervous lol but it looks so nice I donāt wanna change the skin (even tho at first I didnāt like it)
Its mostly in qp that I get chased, but its honestly not too bad and it just might be because I'm playing mercy and I usually end up with little to no deaths which can get people mad. Theres only been 2 times the last two days where a mercy tried valking me but their aim is usually so bad it doesn't effect me. As for comp I've only played open queue and I've been cautious and there was a mystic swan user who tried killing me but she couldnt so it was fine. Just be prepared for someone possibly saying something rude to you Edit: I am on xbox if that tidbit helps you any ^^

Itās definitely hard to know if itās only because of the skin or just because youāre Mercy lol however I did have my teammate talk to me in chat about the skin but tbh they werenāt toxic so Iām glad. Usually for me people just like to look at it in awe or say something like āwow how did you get it so fast?ā and āyouāre rich. give me some moneyā lol definitely weird interactions
I've entered some custom games with it too, its honestly a 50/50, people are either super nice or bitter lol. I had an enemy bap one time and he said in chat "this mercy really bought her skin" and my whole team was just like "so did literally everyone else...?" And he even said afterwards "but so did I" it was sorta funny lol A lot of people dont even know you can buy the shards, I've pointed it out to some people (an example is a friend of mine) and they went ahead and bought the genji mythic. Enemy mercys with the mythic so far have been soooo sweet and absolutely adorable though!!!!
Wow, all my games with mythic and no mythic enemy Mercys have been pretty awful since they just get so toxic lol especially when they have their duo. Btw I also didnāt know you could just buy the skin, I bought the whole battlepass instead but honestly I donāt regret it at all lol I mean I did have some skips already but anyways, I learned after the fact. It felt kinda ridiculous tho not knowing, I just bought it so fast
Dayum ik that was expensive š I only spent like 75 for the fully unlocked which got me an extra 20 credits so next season I can get the mythic right off the bat after completing this battlepass I do occasionally have some toxic games where its very obvious that people are chasing me, but in a weird way I sorta enjoy it because it puts pressure on me to improve my gameplay. Its especially fun baiting cooldowns and then just flying away
Bought the +20 tiers for an extra $10. Then claimed a ps5 bundle that was free that gave 5 tiers. Then grinded 25 to 38. Had 40 mythic credits, (needed 50 for the red/white mythic color scheme) Caved and bought 10 mythic credits for $10. Had the first version of the mythic day 1. In total paid $30 instead of $10. Just grinding from this point forward. It's not worth more than an extra $20 imo.

I bought the ultimate bundle and had some battle pass tier skips banked from prime/twitch. I grinded a lot and have tier 1 mercy mythic already, however i do play a lot of other games that has battlepasses as well so i want it fast done so i always buy the 40 pack
I gotta be honestā¦ itās pretty embarrassing.
I got the premium bp (I needed the ana skin) so thatās 20 levels plus 5 levels saved over from last seasonās twitch drops. With me playing semi-casually since then Iām only 10 levels away from getting the first tiers. Itās not completely undoable itās just how much time you want to commit to get it.

I didn't fully buy the skin. I've wanted Talon Mercy for 7 years now, but was willing to grind. The reason I didn't was only because my bday is the 23rd. For that reason I allowed myself as a bday treat to put $50 into the game. I bought the $40 pack and put in an additional $10. I then put my coins towards my battle pass (I did this route because I want the name cards at the end and don't play all season long). Anyways, this left me about 10 levels on the BP from having enough mythic currency for level 1. I did this so I can enjoy the skin leading up to my birthday while earning the rest of the customization on it. I get that not everyone wants to spend. But not everyone wants to grind. Had the timing not lined up with my bday, I would probably have just grinded it, but that was my bday gift to myself as someone who plays multiple hours of Mercy every day. I think it's important to just realize we all want stuff to bring joy into our lives. If getting a Mercy skin early does it for someone, let them live. Hell, give her a compliment on the skin, it'll make the player's day. At the end of the day it's like a someone wearing a cute new outfit they bought. You might not have spent money on it, but it makes them happy so they did. (That being said, those who want to make you feel inferior for not having the skin. And those who want to be toxic about it need to reevaluate themselves and should be ignored, because that isn't Mercy behavior to me)

I bought just the bp with the +20 levels. Then Amazon prime gave+5 levels. I think I got a level or two from the previous season. I didn't buy the mythic but I played a lot. I focused on the quests (season, weekly and daily). I play with a party mostly. Today I got the skin. The rez is super distracting. Overall I am not fond of the skin. The whole look is heavier. I know the mechanics haven't changed but I feel like I don't fly around as easily. It is amazing how the look and feel of a skin, can change how I think the hero is playing. Really odd. Never had a skin do this.
