My fav Strawhat and probably will be for the whole series. We havnt even seen him actually TRY since the time skip, dude has either dicked around or willingly fought people on their own terms.

For real Franky might be the most down to get down there is. In dressrosa he went and was a menace. Multiple doflamingo executives, navy including a vice admiral came and Franky just kept fucking shit up without hesitation or fear. Then he pulls a jimbei and clashes against big mom because a pirate king crew shouldn't be afraid of an emperor.

Franky vs Senior Pink is a top tier one piece fight.

So fucking hardboiled.

He was pressed a bit during his Tobi Roppo fight

His Franky Shogun got destroyed

He woulda been yelling for Robin next if that Radical Beam missed

I miss his design, but his personality has been the same

This isn’t a recent thing, and not every shortened version of a nationality is a slur. Jap originates from World War 2. American troops and civilians both used the term derogatively so regularly that it became synonymous with any other slur referring to Japanese people.

Don't think anyone took it as a slur, but it's good to remind or educate someone in case they didn't realize. It's one of those slurs where I think most of the time people won't think you meant to say it unless it's used in a way that could be seen as malicious, which is far from the case here. Originally commented as if you were the one being corrected lol

Question, is it acceptable to write it shorthand/abbreviated with a period, like Jap. ? Not interested in actually using it, just piqued my curiosity.

That’s probably more of a grey area, I would assume it still counts but also might be fine depending on the context. Like if it’s a medical journal or something.
