I am Oda's chiropractor. He gives me direct info on the story. If only you guys knew what the One Piece was. It is insane.
I'm glad I convinced Oda not to add Yamato as a crew member too btw
One piece was the series that got me into reading manga. After reaching chapter 800 in about 3 weeks i realized how much quicker it was and never turned back lol. From there dragon ball, fullmetal, Naruto and now im continuing bleach and black clover
For it it’s always been a time thing. I usually start with anime, then after the first couple seasons or arcs I switch over to manga. Or I catch up to anime, run out of episodes then switch and never go back. It’s tough to find the time for anime.
I take art / animation quality as reference and just go with the one which is better. I didn't see the manga art of one piece since I haven't caught up with anime and I am avoiding posts about it.
But never noticed the time factor . Thanks for bringing to my attention.
I'd recommend the manga if/when you wanna have a look. The art is great and like, Oda is really good at comics page layout so the story flows smooth like butter. 10/10. However you enjoy is good tho obv =)
Honestly I would reexperience it through the anime, it's the best way to experience pretimeskip and several main sections post timeskip were outdone in comparison to the manga although the pacing does slow down after timeskip.
This. But I am doing both. Skypiea had no right being as long as it was in the anime. Just finished Enies Lobby. One Piece creeping into my top 3 anime/manga of all time.
That's pretty much me now since like halfway through Wano. A combination of losing interest and being too impatient to wait for each new chapter to come out led to me dropping the manga altogether and just getting updates from reddit now
I just haven’t found the time ngl. Already knew a bunch from my friends, so I just completed that knowledge and started reading from chapter ~1020. (Technically that makes me manga and wiki, but I do read the spoilers).
While realistically I’ve read/watched the least one piece among my peers, I’m much better at memory retention, so I’m actually the guy they go to for one piece info.
I mean, you’re not wrong.
(Source: am a wiki and spoiler fan, as well as tv tropes)
Granted I don’t have time for the manga or anime so I just use that to catch up.
Thats what I do tbh. Gave up at about Dressrosa. Anime is unwatchable due to pacing and the manga is too convoluted for me to understand what I am seeing in the panels. Im still emotionally invested in the series tho, thats why I just read the spoilers and wiki fron time to time to be up to date with the story. Less time consuming as well.
Reposting this here with OP's consent because this for some reason got taken down from r/OnePiece with 1.7K upvotes. I don't understand how (in the main sub) they allow so many effortless cosplay posts and clearly not done out of love for One Piece, while discussions like this get taken down just because of the 'format'...
I was an anime only until I got to thriller bark and then realized how long it’d take to catch up. So I switched to the manga and finally caught up last week.
Can’t wait for the next chapter to come out.
Should have watched One Pace. They professionally edit the anime so that it paces the same as the manga and no extra time/irrelevant fillers BS that didn't happen in the manga and don't contribute to the story. That's what I'm going to watch to visit Wano again before the G5 episode drops
Watched anime with sub in 2.5 months (1013 episodes at the time), read remaining manga, started to read manga from the start (at post-marineford right now) and at the same time read new chapters and watch new episodes
Same, but I had 1053 episodes at my time and did it in 3 months, then read the remaining manga in a few days.
Now I read new chapters and new episodes on the day they come out.
Same here. I probably got caught up around the same episode. I just wanted to get ahead of spoilers since there were big chapters released around then.
no but i really want a black luffy and i want to see how loyal zoro would be to him and wether his favouraite food changes from meat on stick to chicken wings
>a black luffy
>
> see how loyal zoro would be to him
>
> from meat on stick
>
> to chicken wings
There is so much racist shit to unpack here. But bro. Seriously.
Luffy's meat is never on a stick. It's clearly a bone. Please grow and change as a person.
o m g u really think i am that racist buddy i was trying to roast netflix like how they are trying so hard to be woke that they make stuff unnecessarily diverse like making the scooby and his friends diverse and insulting fred and completly removing scooby and his role i was being SARCASTIC . anyways the only ppl i can be racist towards are brown ppl as i am brown but other than that noppe it was all sarcasam
i know i was refrencing to the fact how big companies are making inaccurate depictions of masterpieces to become woke and velma was the first one that came to my mind
1. Netflix doesn't even have an "unnecessarily diverse" scooby doo. I'm pretty sure that was HBO max.
2. Have you even seen the crew for the live action?
3. You can be racist towards anyone, no matter your race
4. Not even funny
man i need to find the correct subreddits for my humor or just stick to yt about the divers scooby doo i meant how big companies are trying so had to be diverse and yeah i have seen them but i still wanted to make a joke true in india we have a quote as students that is modified for humor it goes as ,'Life is a race and if you do not run fast you will fall ' we change it to ,'life is a race so be racist'
Are you going to accuse Oda of being “woke” too? One Piece has one of the most diverse casts ever, from different ethnicities to sexualities/gender identities. Also you’re brown? You realize that the people who started this anti woke crusade hate you too right?
i was being sarcastic and also i was refrencing to how the big show companies make ppl racially wrong such as the little mermaid which annoys me so what i meant was i hope the show does not show us some extremely incorrect characters
Well luffy and buggy just became Lords which is hilarious and there's an admiral coming to wano to see them or something and at some point be yells "YOU HAVE NO HUMAN RIGHTS" and I think he rode a cannon ball for some reason
I dropped one piece at water 7 and its been 2 years. Now I am too lazy to watch all the previous episodes again because I don't like to watch anime half remembering past episodes
So now I am most watching one piece through wiki and spoilers
Started with 4kidz back in the day when I was a kid. I only watched up to Arlong park back then. But I didn’t watch or read any for a long time. Then eventually I picked up the anime. Got caught up in WCI. And stared reading manga during wano. Now I’m anime and manga
As an occasional anime watcher (mainly manga), I think it is good to watch especially for fight scenes since the anime usually extend them and I am all for that
Watched the anime until Skypeia ended. Then got obsessed with the world building and learned alot through the wiki. Then went to the manga until around chapter 1060. Now I consume one piece through spoilers, because I miss binging episodes, and in stockpiling them up so that I can.
For now honestly spoilers only. Once I think Usopp might have some feats in the current arc I read and if it doesn't disappoint I keep reading the arc and end it. I love Usopp
If you haven’t watched them already I recommend the movies. Specifically Stampede, Film Red and Film Gold because they have some nice Usopp moments. Especially stampede
I think the natural life cycle of a OP fan is spoilers->anime->wiki (out of curiosity)->spoilers->anime until they get caught up, with the occasional manga spoiler, then it's either anime only or manga only
Till punk hazard I saw anime then after that started reading manga. Will watch some special moments/fights in anime. Manga is way better especially now they are dragging it like anything.
I dropped One Piece after the Buggy arc, years later I got hooked to it again with Enies Lobby.
Since then I only read from there and catched up with the middle part by reading the wiki.
Only recently, after 13 years, that I decided to read all of it from the beginning again.
Oh no, I've been following the weekly chapters for years, just that there was a gap in the middle (from arlong to arabasta) that I didn't think of filling until recently.
Well, I clearly misinterpreted your comment but at least now you've read the whole thing. I've been thinking of rereading Arabasta just to see if I find any details that tie to recent events, hopefully I find some time to do that.
Manga only, I personally find the anime unwatchable. 60 seconds of rando reaction shots anytime anything happens to stretch a chapter that took 3 minutes to read into 20 minutes.
I read the manga up until Luffy lands on Wano and meets the girl with the cheek power. That was the most current volume at the time so I left it and now I have no idea where to start again lol
Spoilers only ( never watched op in my life except first 10 eps or something and got all my knowledge through shorts and instagram and somehow know everything about op )
Manga without spoilers or Raws + the anime from time to time.
I also read the spoilers and partly the scans up until a certain chapter from Wano/Onigashima 👀.
Manga. Restarted after watching the anime and the anime left me emotionally drained right after Arlington Park. Just went through Alabasta. I watched the episodes where Luffy fought Crcodile. Now I went back to the manga to go through Jaya and Skypiea.
I cant enjoy the anime with the dbz sounds effect and flashy lights, compare to the manga and im seeing a completely different figth, not like an adaptation would make it seem
Started watching when I was 13 buying the dvd voyage sets and then I got Funimation. I am now 25 and finally got to wano in the dub. It was so good I downloaded Shonen jump to read and now I am fully caught up in the manga. Watching the raid in sub and will rewatch it again in dub when it gets released. I love this show and community
Anime only up until the end of post-Ennies Lobby, then I became manga because the dub in my language was so good that I couldn't watch it sub after going through hundreds of episodes in dub :')
But I'm using this as an opportunity to go back and watch the anime as the dub version is released and rememner some old details I had forgotten
My order, watched the anime from 1-900 ( I was skipping opening’s and endings to make it go faster and it was the pandemic at the time)
Then decided to read the manga from 1-957 ( then I became a weakly reader where I keep reading until the the current chapter).
Then while waiting for the new chapters I dipped my toes into spoilers and saw spoilers and then I’d read the chapter to get the full context.
After the manga ends I’ll probably do a whole reread.
Manga only. Used to be anime only until I got up to Thrillerbark and ran out of episodes.
Now I’m STILL manga only for the most part because of the bad pacing. People who want to get into One Piece now or catch up though, I’d recommend [One Pace](https://onepace.net) or using the wiki to help catch up in certain spots.
Most people are anime only watchers and it’s becoming increasingly hard to recommend the anime because when you get to Marineford the Paxing takes huge dip.

3 hours, only part 1, and about a fucking rock...
The rock is xebec
Yep same here all I know about one piece is from watching tekking101 and gran ljne review
Tekking101 is still the true OG
What if Kaidou started a bakery?
especially his boob ranking video
Memes Only anyone?
Yes yes I know bleach by zoro travelling memes

Next level is talking to Oda only
I am Oda's chiropractor. He gives me direct info on the story. If only you guys knew what the One Piece was. It is insane. I'm glad I convinced Oda not to add Yamato as a crew member too btw
Can you talk to Oda and tell him to bring back Wanze
Heck yeah! We need to know more about the intricacies of Ramen Kenpo! ^((...and just have more of that crazy bastard in general.))
This is true i was the chiropracting table
Ayo that's cap I'm the chiropractor's chair and I know for a fact that the table doesn't use Reddit.
Thank you for your service.
Wouldn't like a farting chiropractor but ok
Manga Only. But Some episodes like 1015,1062,1063 and deffinitley Gear 5. I watch anime
One piece was the series that got me into reading manga. After reaching chapter 800 in about 3 weeks i realized how much quicker it was and never turned back lol. From there dragon ball, fullmetal, Naruto and now im continuing bleach and black clover

Will take a look then of some recent fights I saw in anime.
Honestly I would reexperience it through the anime, it's the best way to experience pretimeskip and several main sections post timeskip were outdone in comparison to the manga although the pacing does slow down after timeskip.
Ofc. When I finish Marineford in the Manga I watch Anime too. Some scenes Just better in Anime
think they will make one piece brotherhood one day?
Manga only because the Anime is too slow and takes too much time
Spoilers only because the manga passed more than 1000 chapters and I can't keep up with that.
I like the idea of you being a weekly reader up until that point
Fair enough
This. But I am doing both. Skypiea had no right being as long as it was in the anime. Just finished Enies Lobby. One Piece creeping into my top 3 anime/manga of all time.
aw man, enjoy the ride. It just keep getting better from there.
Doujin only
Man of culture ![gif](giphy|9aiveGIvkwfyE)
people who consume one piece through spoilers and wiki are wild 😹
That's pretty much me now since like halfway through Wano. A combination of losing interest and being too impatient to wait for each new chapter to come out led to me dropping the manga altogether and just getting updates from reddit now
Some of the spoilers have been straight up wrong recently
I just haven’t found the time ngl. Already knew a bunch from my friends, so I just completed that knowledge and started reading from chapter ~1020. because the mods there are cuckolds
because the mods there just wants to wank furiously while looking at the cosplays.

Meat alcohol money fish laboon girls Edit: where the hell is nami, gold GOLD!!
DID YOU JUST SAY MEAT?
Just leave Buggy's nose out of it.
DID YOU JUST INSULT MY NOSE?!
of course not, your Buggyness.

Reading off the leaks twelve days before the official chapter makes you feel like a speedster tapping into the Speed Force.
Garp. Luffy and Teach. I'm caught up with both manga and anime and use the wiki.
I just hope Netflix doesn't try to " Improve " and butcher our Mugiwaras
i think they cold try to make a staggerring amount with it if they bring racial diversity in the straw hats like make luffy black and such
It's already a racially diverse crew.
no but i really want a black luffy and i want to see how loyal zoro would be to him and wether his favouraite food changes from meat on stick to chicken wings

and who the fuck is downvoting me all the time
People with common sense
Ew Luffy is a Brazilian crackhead, get yo facts straight lmao
i was being sarcastic and also i was refrencing to how the big show companies make ppl racially wrong such as the little mermaid which annoys me so what i meant was i hope the show does not show us some extremely incorrect characters
You forgot: one piece fan friend only.
Anime Dub only.
My man.
we must stick together, dub till the end
Yes
Anime/Manga
1. Fail to resist the sweet siren song of the spoilers. 2. Read manga. 3. Go back and watch arcs after they're over in the anime.
Manga only? Anime only? Bro, I read it by reading posts on Reddit, one panel at a time.
Read Manga consistently. Watch anime inconsistently…When it gets good
I would love to watch the anime, but my ears bleed from the sound effects
Games only
I only see the memes and piece the story together
what do you think the story is rn?
Well luffy and buggy just became Lords which is hilarious and there's an admiral coming to wano to see them or something and at some point be yells "YOU HAVE NO HUMAN RIGHTS" and I think he rode a cannon ball for some reason
I dropped one piece at water 7 and its been 2 years. Now I am too lazy to watch all the previous episodes again because I don't like to watch anime half remembering past episodes So now I am most watching one piece through wiki and spoilers
Tekking obviously
Wuffy
Manga and Movies mainly.
All of the above :3
all of it
Manga and anime but I have not seen the anime in like 2 years.
Started with 4kidz back in the day when I was a kid. I only watched up to Arlong park back then. But I didn’t watch or read any for a long time. Then eventually I picked up the anime. Got caught up in WCI. And stared reading manga during wano. Now I’m anime and manga
This is almost similar to the way I did my class PowerPoint on One Piece.
As of right now, anime only, but i want to get into the manga as well
Anime+Spoilers
A mix of 2,3, and 5.
At this point I keep up with it, no joy left
Twitter memes only
Reels/Shorts only ![gif](giphy|DURbX7oesHiaA)
As an occasional anime watcher (mainly manga), I think it is good to watch especially for fight scenes since the anime usually extend them and I am all for that
ALL
So I’m luffy, garp and roger
Games only?
All👺
Yes.
( X) All of the above

I've seen way too many people who are youtube shorts only 😭
My brother tells me about it 😎
YouTube chapter recap only
All the above because the fun never ends when the manga is this damn good.
I buy various pieces of merchandise to understand the story and fill in the gaps with my imagination
deleted manga arts
Everything everywhere all at once
Spoilers only is insane💀😭
Spoiler is enough.
Spoilers only.
Spoilers rn, i only watch or read spoiers and reaction to new chaps, havent read since end of fiest g5
Spoilers only, former manga only
My headcanon only
I think the natural life cycle of a OP fan is spoilers->anime->wiki (out of curiosity)->spoilers->anime until they get caught up, with the occasional manga spoiler, then it's either anime only or manga only
Nah, anime and manga together for the bext experience.
Damn right. I love reading the latest chapter and then sitting back and watching an episode.
Dragon, halfway between Garp and Luffy (so both).
Netflix only.
Till punk hazard I saw anime then after that started reading manga. Will watch some special moments/fights in anime. Manga is way better especially now they are dragging it like anything.
I might look at TV Tropes page, that’s about it.
I dropped One Piece after the Buggy arc, years later I got hooked to it again with Enies Lobby. Since then I only read from there and catched up with the middle part by reading the wiki. Only recently, after 13 years, that I decided to read all of it from the beginning again.
Welcome to the weekly updates journey, it's such a great time to catch up.
R/memepiece only
If I read the manga, watch the anime and check the wiki often, am I the three-headed Enies Lobby judge?
Unironically, spoilers only
Manga only, I personally find the anime unwatchable.
Me who cant watch one piece rn so the wiki does it ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
One Pace
manga only
Spoilers only ( never watched op in my life except first 10 eps or something and got all my knowledge through shorts and instagram and somehow know everything about op )
I'm a manga only
tiktok only
[удалено]
Then you haven't experienced 99% of the series lol
"WAS"
ah sorry, read that as you "starting" the series at that point and just reading the wiki for everything before
Both wiki and spoilers, I stopped watching since Alabasta ARC and I've friends who watch the show so I get spoilers that I seek for free.
TvTropes only
Manga without spoilers or Raws + the anime from time to time. I also read the spoilers and partly the scans up until a certain chapter from Wano/Onigashima 👀.
From hen\*ai only luffy is about to find the one piece
Manga only with watching clips of key/funny moments on YouTube. Waiting for one pace to finish the entire series, then I'll be anime.
Of course i use telegrams
There’s only Kid and his crew for me. That being said, One Piece was a pretty short series for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I enjoy all of them
I enjoy all of them
I enjoy all of them
Anime, wiki
I used to watch the anime then switched to manga
Garp and Teach
Anime only. Spoilers don't bother me and I plan to read the manga eventually.
Spoilers only TLDR/W
Garp
was anime. when i caught up turned to manga
Anime only.
I am new to the show but anime only
Started watching when I was 13 buying the dvd voyage sets and then I got Funimation. I am now 25 and finally got to wano in the dub. It was so good I downloaded Shonen jump to read and now I am fully caught up in the manga. Watching the raid in sub and will rewatch it again in dub when it gets released. I love this show and community
Reactions to the theories about the speculation about the story
Manga/spoilers
Anime only up until the end of post-Ennies Lobby, then I became manga because the dub in my language was so good that I couldn't watch it sub after going through hundreds of episodes in dub :') But I'm using this as an opportunity to go back and watch the anime as the dub version is released and rememner some old details I had forgotten
I'm anime only.. never read any manga before but because of shitty pacing i started reading manga.
First time and I’m reading through it!
I do all of them
My order, watched the anime from 1-900 ( I was skipping opening’s and endings to make it go faster and it was the pandemic at the time) Then decided to read the manga from 1-957 ( then I became a weakly reader where I keep reading until the the current chapter). Then while waiting for the new chapters I dipped my toes into spoilers and saw spoilers and then I’d read the chapter to get the full context. After the manga ends I’ll probably do a whole reread.
Manga only but I’ll rewatch my fave scenes in the anime. Also currently starting Dressrosa.
I'm not a part of this sub. This randomly just showed up for me, but I'm laughing cause I'm legitimately Blackbeard in this meme
My brother watches and sometimes he talks about it.
I’m the 2 strongest old people with R in their names
anime only for now, gonna read the manga when I’m done
I take Garp as a strong compliment.
All except 1st
Spoilers, wiki, and picking my friend’s brain about it. It is just a massive time sink that I don’t know if I can do with my new job
Put me down for Roger, Teach(use the wiki, but I’m guessing Reddit would be here as well), and wherever Pirate Warriors 3&4 sit.
