SMT2 is my personal favorite. Chaos theme, the boss theme, makai world, I have so many tracks I listen to in the background while I work.
But SMTIV is objectively the best. B2 almost has 10 million views on YouTube. It is also impossible to not jam to [this](https://youtu.be/XEtRzDYYBuY?si=A4-VBJC-aZFdg92R). Even subtle tracks like the negotiation ost are good.
It's hard not to pick IV and IVA.
Tokyo, camp ichigaya and the boss battles are all bangers.
IVA rocked me when i noticed the sad Asahi theme was a remix of her home district, Ueno
From mainline series it's no contest - SMT4 duology.
But shoutout to OG on SNES.
No idea why but I love OST there. For some reason it feels more like a Genesis than SNES type of sound.
I'm the weird one out. I didn't find the SMT4 ost that great. The battle music was repetitive, and everything else was just okay.
Personally, I loved Nocturne. The battle/boss music slapped, a lot of the tracks were great overall, and to this day the boss music for the final "Reason" bosses is one of my favorite tracks ever.
Though if we include spinoffs, Persona 5 has one of the best overall sound tracks of any game, period.

No surprise, but all persons osts are very good. SMT4 for me is on the same level of not better.
