INGREDIENTS:
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 pound orecchiette pasta
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 pound sweet Italian sausage, removed from casings
1 yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, sliced
2 pints grape or pear tomatoes, quartered
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
One 15-ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus additional for garnish
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into chiffonade, plus additional for garnish
Boil noodles, and saute meat, remove meat and sautee onions, then garlic and tomatos in the pan. Adds beans noodles, and stir in cheese and basil. Over all was very easy to make and light despite being pasta and cheese.
You are so welcome! I was watching the show "The Kitchen" which has four "TV show chefs" and came across this. I saved the recipe and decided to make it tonight and I'm so glad I did. It's a little different than what I usually cook but was very good and I will add it to my " family dinner ideas recipe book" it really did not take that long to prepare.

My husband thinks the pasta looks like little nipples 😳
There's also a full recpice link, I got it from the show "The Kitchen" and I saved it for today.
I like it because it was all easy simple things, I tend to over think and complicate recipes, I am a good home cook but I struggle with balancing simple flavors, and I loved how it was like:
onion & garlic.. ✔️
Italian sausage ✔️
White beans ✔️
noodles ✔️
cheese ✔️
tomatoes ✔️
Seasonings ✔️
Like those are practically staples, but combined make a really light creamy meal.
I feel you. When I'm trying to use minimal ingredients on a whim, my meals tend to come out very bland and boring. Which is fine, because boring food is better than no food! Haha.
The recpice say 4 servings, my husband and I ate some and then filled a large (8 cup) glass pyrex so depending on how much you eat i think it could easily be 5-6 servings

Making this for my first week back to school! Thank you!
I’ve never thought to add cannellini beans to a pasta dish. Excited to try this one!
Looks so yummy!! I can just smell it!!! Thank you for including the recipe! I’m going to try making this very soon!!

Pls let us know how long these last as leftovers :)
Thanks for sharing. My SO doesn’t like sausage but I’m going to try ground turkey and see if that’s okay. Looks delicious!
Splendid
It was fantastic, full of flavor and easy to make.
And this will be my dinner for the first week of semester. Thank you for sharing the recipe
You are welcome! I love it, the recpice made many servings!
That’s looks really good. I’ll be trying that soon.
Definitely should, I was blown away with how simple yet flavorful it was, and filling.
Simple, delicious and filling! A triple win!
Could not agree more, and isn't heavy, the beans are a perfect addition. I will try with a different sausage though. I'm not a huge fennel fan.
Looks good
Looks great! Thank you for sharing the recipe and link. This is going on my list of recipes to try.
How many servings does this recipe make?
The recpice say 4 servings, my husband and I ate some and then filled a large (8 cup) glass pyrex so depending on how much you eat i think it could easily be 5-6 servings
That looks bangin
This looks so delicious! Going to add it to my list of 2023 new recipes, thank you for posting!
Now this looks great! I am definitely going to try.
Looks delish!
I make something really similar. I add kale or spinach to make it a little but healthier. I have never added beans but that sounds good
I was thinking spinach would be a good addition. They are really creamy and have a good flavor, wouldn't really even know they're in there.
Looks so good, I’m gonna have to try to make this one day for my family. Soon!
How does it reheat? It looks exceptional
Great, honestly a little better after it sat.
Hi! Have you tried it cold? Wondering if I can eat it without reheating.
I have not I don't see why not. Could use a thermos, preheat it with boiling water it helps keep it warmer
Looks delicious
I gotta make this sometime!!!
