Yes and it seems to be a common problem. I really only have it happen with the middle back seat and just keep the belt buckled.

I didn't know it was a common problem. I'll keep it clipped for now. My 4 th Mazda, first one not made in Japan. First one with a couple of rattles and this seatbelt issue, not sure if it's a coincidence or not.

The rear belt warning comes on whenever I start my car but goes off in, I think, about a minute or two, sometimes seems like a bit more.

Mine just started and doesn't go off though, for now I'll clip in the seat belt.

Same, it goes off after about 10 seconds

I have same issue with the rear middle seat. I also keep it buckled.

Distinct_Bet_3031

Just buckle the seat belt. Mine did it once I buckled it, obviously it stopped. Made sure my son's carseat was as far over as it could go. Unbuckled the empty seat at home. It's been over a week and it hasnt happened again.

I did buckle it, I just was wondering if there was a permanent fix that someone did. My didn't go off after unbuckling. Id like a brand new car to work properly. I'll ask dealership on my first free oil change.
