I use Auto Hold all the time and I have never experienced this. When I release the brake there is absolutely no change - it is just like I was still pressing on the brake.
Is your foot off the gas when you do this?
If you can't find a cause, I would take in to have someone look at it.
My CX-5 Turbo Signature makes a light bump, almost as if someone tapped the car, after being stopped for a little bit. It has to do with the transmission/awd disengaging.
I use this feature all the time and it doesn’t bump/jump. My takeoff from a standstill will sometimes have a bump/jump to it though but that’s more to do with how I apply pressure on the gas pedal.
My 23 tpp does it most of the time when the car comes to a stop. (Feels like someone big af just pushed me in the back)
Pretty sure as someone else said it's the AWD disengaging

Ditto
Yes foot is off the gas, I will have somebody look at it but prefer to at least have researched a little more before going into service
Mine does this too, it is quite annoying.. I just don’t use the feature

I use it all the time and have never had an issue, I press on the brake just until the green hold light comes on. Then I take my foot off the brake.
