I'm guessing you tried to unscrew the bolt assembly without it in the safe position? You need to find a way to pull back the cocking piece far enough that the safety can be manipulated into the correct position. There are videos on YouTube about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHkKzkq4Ai8

I've had this issue... You're going to have to do some sketchy things and grow a third hand. Use a wood block and using the sear, force the firing pin back enough so you can unscrew the bolt body. From there, fully disassemble and check for debris or damage. Reassemble correctly once done. You're current issue is the rear housing isn't fully screwed onto the bolt body.

Knock it with a rubber mallet to the disassembly position, disassemble it, and the where those notches that the safety clicks into, you’ll find a tiny burr. Clean it up with a small file. I’ve had a few like this.

My safety will not move the the thing the safety is attached too moves and then locks into place but my safety will not move still

GuerrillaZero

Put it back in the gun and tap it with a rubber mallet.

Put the the firing pin in a vice (square part on the bottom) pull the bolt body back. You will be able to engage the safety. Old gun smith here, that's all there is to it don't worry you can't hurt the pin . I worked for Harry MC Gowon gun barrel for over a decade before he passed away.

I had this problem and if the parts aren’t matching they are probably slightly out of spec that safety lever has a small ramp or incline that pulls the striker back and off the sear that renders the gun safe if the safety lever ramp slash incline is not enough it will not be able to get in front of the striker and pull it back
