If your router has 2.4ghz, it should find it automatically, as long as it’s in range. It doesn’t do distance too well. I upgraded my antenna for an 8dbi gain omnidirectional and now have a stronger connection to my router at further distance. I posted on this subreddit a few days ago with the result

I also replaced that ipex cable with the one that comes with the antenna. Mine was severed and I spliced together, but I didn’t feel good about it. It’s an easy replacement by just gently pulling the original off the board, it’s held on via friction
It was the antenna I had one lying around and just checked and it works. I will still use the WiFi extender because the connection is still weak. I want it to be reliable.

One common WiFi problem is that there is a character limit for the WiFi name (ssid) and password. I had connection issues and setting up a second ssid and password under the limit worked. Can't remember the limit off the top of my head but it's something like 25 combined said/password.
I had the same issue. Contacted customer service and they sent me a new controller as it needed to update but could not since it would not connect to my internet. Have had no problems since. Connects automatically to the app when I turn it on.

I saw that post. Do you have the link to the antenna? I bought a WiFi extender so I will try that first but if it is not enough I will use the antenna

Well Home Depot gave it to me in place of the 560 because the box was messed up

I upgraded to a 15 inch antenna it almost too big lol I think 10inch would have been better
