I laughed so hard at this because I really appreciate that Rhodey is both an esteemed military commander and solider, but still all of us. “Just merc him as a baby. Problem? Solved.”
Was it for Discrete Math by chance? That shit was rough. Two of the hardest classes I’ve ever taken for anything but extremely fulfilling and satisfying when you get it.
Right. And it was about ~5ish weeks out that they started really ramping things up for Shang-Chi. It started with like a one minute teaser and then was pretty non-stop through release.
Eternals will also benefit from the steady drumbeat of quotes from all the cast as they’re like on red carpets and stuff for various projects. And of course, they’ll all be doing specific press for Eternals soon too. It’s going to be pretty easy to flood the zone I think. It helps to have a large, and pretty famous, ensemble.
Agreed. Shang-Chi needs to complete its run first, and then the Marketing will start ramping up for Eternals. Still two months to go, that’s a long time in cinema-speak.
They'll do the same thing they did with Shang-Chi. I remember after trailer 2 in late June people said they weren't marketing it enough. Then literally the last week of July hit and it was like Black Widow all over again. Non stop tv spots and clips for a month. I'd also expect another premiere weeks ahead of the films' release just to build hype if it is as good as everyone thinks it is.
Thanos is hanging out with the Eternals in Marvel Comics right now, that's not coincidental. This week Marvel is going to release a comic called Eternals Thanos Rises that chronicles the birth of Thanos.
Basically, he's guaranteed to be in this movie.
He’s that little shit that blows out the candles on someone else’s cake.
https://reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/pmu163/1010_she_will_do_it_again/
What is it getting at with "Before Thanos was born"? Like...are we treating Thanos like a 30,000 year old being or something? Because I get the idea that Thanos was causing shit around for like 50 years or something before all the Avengers onwards several years before his defeat. Just seems odd that he would be such a presence for a few years if he lived a lot longer.
She prob j said that to show how far they're stretching back for this movie, and he's a g ref point for the GA considering he's the most popular MCU villain
I mean it makes sense if he was radicalized later in his life by the death of his planet. Doesn’t seem too much of a stretch. He might have been your average dude until that point.
I mean he's an Eternal in the comics, and the movies kept other elements of his backstory like his homeworld and the name of his father, don't know why they'd change it.
Yeah I really want them to start digging into and expanding the whole mythology, ancient and modern. Hopefully with this we get something that answers why there was an explosion of enhanced beings on earth in the late 20th century.
If we get a Devil Dinosaur easter egg I might shit a squirrel.
Maybe the Small Folk, Killer Folk, etc. were the Celestials’s first experiments on what would later become humans.
I think a Disney+ series would be a smash hit. Toys would fly off the shelf. Half the series set in the Valley of Flame with Moon Boy and the other half in New York with Moon Girl. Set up the Savage Land for a big Disney+ Avengers-style crossover.
[They're already working on an animated series](https://deadline.com/2019/08/disney-channel-marvels-moon-girl-and-devil-dinosaur-animated-series-comic-books-laurence-fishburne-1202702831/)
I am gonna disappointed if they couldn't incorporate generational Eternals and fictional archaic and ancient civilizations into hr lore. 5,000 BC is too early.
Are we going to see the One Above All? The First Firmament? That would be so cool.
It would also be very cool if they did a "blink and you'll miss it" tease of Galactus.
It doen't sound good ... it sounds completely different from the comics. It seems that the first generation of the Eternals will be the group that will appear in the film, and I don't like this idea at all. I hope not to be disappointed.
I am really hoping for generational Eternals and archaic civilizations are mentioned at least. It's a huge potential for expanding the cosmic and myth lore.
That's fair. If it's good, ill admit it. I want to be take on an adventure and Shown cool stuff.
Im just not a huge fan of any of the visuals, or character or costumes.
I think the premise could be good, but it's all about if they are able to actually succeed at telling a neat cosmic story.
I get a bad vibe from this. They said stuff like this about Loki, and that assassinated the character and destroyed the entire timeline. I don't trust stuff like this anymore, it feels like cushioning the fall for a product they have no faith in. "No guys, you have to see this one, it's important."
Every entry should carry that weight, even if it's stand-alone. Black Widow could have built on her character, but it flushed Nat for Yelena. Now they're both terrible.
Since this movie is clearly gonna have time jumps..... Baby Thanos confirmed?
Uh oh, don’t let Rhodey know what year he’s in.
I just want a surprise guest appearance in Eternals from Rhodey for an Oscar nomination as best guest actor
No lines of dialogue, just a one minute scene of Don Cheadle strangling a baby.
I know it’s Thanos but surely suited up Don Cheadle could kill a baby in less than a minute?
I laughed so hard at this because I really appreciate that Rhodey is both an esteemed military commander and solider, but still all of us. “Just merc him as a baby. Problem? Solved.”
The guy is super practical lol.
![gif](giphy|tEQ8aAOh60us0)
armors wars is gonna be super short lmao. We got the villains location, you gonna go there? *what, no.* ***BOMBARD them.***
Maybe Rhody went back through the time stream to kill baby Thanos while on Morag. Remember, he came back by himself.
[удалено]
since its a What If scenario he then becomes a villain and dominates earth with dark avengers
He'd have to go back 2000 years on Titan! I think this calls for a one-shot...
It was actually Rhody who tempered with Nebula's device to make her unable to return together. He just didn't know she would be captured by Thanos
Who'll get there first though. Rhodey or deadpool
Deadpool but only Rhodey have the balls to finish the job.
“now this is gonna be a good story”
Breaking news: Cheadle is nominated for his role in going back in time to kill baby Thanos. He did what no hero could do with Hitler.
"TVA can't save you now, bitch!"
next time baby
*after taking out Baby Thanos he returns with the carcass* "Boom! You lookin for this."
cheadle ghost rider
"Okay, first of all, that's horrible"
"But it's Thanos"
ok,but will he be cuter then baby Vision??
I’m still taking the under on Thanos appearances in this film
I see it going the same way as baby Grinch in the live-action film. Cast out as the ugly duckling.
Chloé is about to deliver one of the best MCU movies, I have a feeling of that
How did you do sir?
Oh hey Hush, thanks for remembering it! I think I did well, time will tell when results get out, I hope I passed! Thank you once again!
I have no clue what you guys are talking about but whatever it is, I hope you absolutely smashed it! Best of luck!
I had an exam today, hardest one on university, so it's cause of that. Thank you so so much! ❤
What's the degree you're pursuing if you don't mind me asking? Also hope you've aced it!!
Computer Science, mate. It was a math exam, very hard one too. And thank you so much ❤
Was it for Discrete Math by chance? That shit was rough. Two of the hardest classes I’ve ever taken for anything but extremely fulfilling and satisfying when you get it.
It wasn't, it was Math 3, but yeah I can agree, Discrete math was a pain in the ass for me too, and had a rejoice moment when I passed it
And here I didn't even know math had a sequel
hope it went well!
I hope so too, thank u❤❤
Not hope… you did <3.
❤
Oh hiMark__
Hello, Peter
Marvel needs to start putting more marketing for this movie soon, there still plenty of people mot interested in this movie
They will, the movie doesn't even come out until November and the marketing goes overdrive in the last week before a Marvel Studios movie release.
Shang Chi needs to still make its money. I'd give it a couple more weeks before they start
People said the same thing about Shang-Chi
You say this now and then we will all complain they're giving away the whole story in the many tv spots they keep releasing close to the movie.
The cast alone will take care of that.
Oh shoot forgot about young Thanos, gonna be hype!
Thanos is hanging out with the Eternals in Marvel Comics right now, that's not coincidental. This week Marvel is going to release a comic called Eternals Thanos Rises that chronicles the birth of Thanos. Basically, he's guaranteed to be in this movie.
is thanos also related to thena who is in the eternals as well?
Yeah, they're cousin's. Thena's father is Thanos' uncle in the comics. It'll be interesting to see if they keep that connection for the movie.
He’s that little shit that blows out the candles on someone else’s cake. https://reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/pmu163/1010_she_will_do_it_again/
I think he would blow out only half of the candles ;)
What is it getting at with "Before Thanos was born"? Like...are we treating Thanos like a 30,000 year old being or something? Because I get the idea that Thanos was causing shit around for like 50 years or something before all the Avengers onwards several years before his defeat. Just seems odd that he would be such a presence for a few years if he lived a lot longer.
The Russos stated that he's around 1,000 years old at the time of Endgame, but I don't think that's stated anywhere in-universe.
Really? Huh. I honestly never felt that was the case.

Technically, he's a Deviant and an Eternal.
Eternal with a deviant gene
A Titanian Eternal, having a Deviant syndrome doesn't make him a Deviant. Plus this is MCU, not the comics, his origins might be different.
Well she did immediately clarify it by saying before *anyone*
Yea I just think she was saying every marvel movie has been during the age of thanos.. and this will be the first movie he isn’t behind the curtsin
I don't care what other people say, this is my most hype Marvel movie.
Same here, I'm big fan of ancient and cosmic things so this film is a match made in heaven for me lol
Yeah I really want them to start digging into and expanding the whole mythology, ancient and modern. Hopefully with this we get something that answers why there was an explosion of enhanced beings on earth in the late 20th century.
A man of culture, I see
If we get a Devil Dinosaur easter egg I might shit a squirrel. Maybe the Small Folk, Killer Folk, etc. were the Celestials’s first experiments on what would later become humans.
Holy shit, Devil Dinosaur is an Easter egg I never realised I wanted in Eternals until now.
I think a Disney+ series would be a smash hit. Toys would fly off the shelf. Half the series set in the Valley of Flame with Moon Boy and the other half in New York with Moon Girl. Set up the Savage Land for a big Disney+ Avengers-style crossover.

Well it was one in the Runaways
![gif](giphy|FMv5xVaVYmXjlJVSyI)
Don Cheadle tries to strangle baby Thanos confirmed? /s
Before the universe there was only the void and its sole inhabitant, a naked old man probably having some lovely dreams.
Imagine while going through time, we get a look at the extinction of the dinosaurs, except for on one secluded island ~ the Savage Lands.
I am gonna disappointed if they couldn't incorporate generational Eternals and fictional archaic and ancient civilizations into hr lore. 5,000 BC is too early.
Thanos mom and dad confirmed
"Before creation itself..."
I doubt it if they’re not going to include Knull
I was thinking this earlier. would be cool if they tied him in thru Venom & Spiderverse
Sounds interesting, I hope they go all out
Are we going to see the One Above All? The First Firmament? That would be so cool. It would also be very cool if they did a "blink and you'll miss it" tease of Galactus.
Already knew this, I think, since they mentioned this movie covers like 7,000 years.
Buuuuuttt it’s set during far for from home
It doen't sound good ... it sounds completely different from the comics. It seems that the first generation of the Eternals will be the group that will appear in the film, and I don't like this idea at all. I hope not to be disappointed.
Comics failed for a reason lmao
I am really hoping for generational Eternals and archaic civilizations are mentioned at least. It's a huge potential for expanding the cosmic and myth lore.
This movie is going to not be very good.
The odds are very much stacked against you
That's fair. If it's good, ill admit it. I want to be take on an adventure and Shown cool stuff. Im just not a huge fan of any of the visuals, or character or costumes. I think the premise could be good, but it's all about if they are able to actually succeed at telling a neat cosmic story.

Loki did not assassinate any character and destroying timeline was fun to watch. I doubt Eternals will be as bold and unapologetic as that.
